Abstract

The existence of a very fast world shift in the world of education in a globalized manner provides a new direction in developing deep thinking with the existence of very sophisticated technology. The literacy we face today is indeed very quickly accepted and requires a lot of understanding and data. The research objective was to describe and analyze the implementation of transformational leadership by school principals to create a culture of literacy for teachers and students in schools. The research method with qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Primary data sources in research; principals, teachers and students. Data collection tool with interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification. Research result; transformative school principal programs include holding workshops on the use of digital literacy every 1 semester 2 times, in sub-district KKG events and utilizing social media in communicating and utilizing internet media as a learning medium.

Abstract

Lecturers as educators have a very large role in determining the quality of higher education graduates. Transformational leadership becomes a leadership style that can be used by lecturers to direct and guide students to have superior character. lecturers who teach in the Christian Leadership Department have implemented this transformational leadership, although it has not been implemented thoroughly. Furthermore, problems arise about the application of transformational leadership of lecturers that have not been maximized, making students not have a truly superior character. This research was conducted to find out how lecturers apply transformational leadership and how it affects the students of the Christian Leadership Department? This research will examine students in the Christian Leadership Department, Faculty of Theological Sciences IAKN Tarutung about the application of transformational leadership of lecturers and their influence in shaping student character. Through this research, it is hoped that lecturers can apply transformational leadership optimally, because the transformational leadership applied by lecturers is influential in building superior student character. Through the application of transformational leadership, students experience changes and have superior character.

Abstract

Profiles of IAKN Tarutung Christian Leadership Department Graduates are trainers, administrators and researchers. In the description of the graduate profile, the trainer is described that a trainer has the competence to carry out leadership training in religious institutions, non-governmental organizations, government agencies and the business/industrial world. Innature, efforts to achieve graduate profiles of researchers seek to equip students to have trainer skills through the Christian Leadership Training of Trainers Guidebook at the IAKN Tarutung Christian Leadership Department. Thepurpose of this research is as follows to design an innovative Christian Leadership Training of Trainer Handbook in the Christian Leadership Department. The research method used is researchand development (R&D). Based on the results of the research, the Christian Leadership Training of Trainers Handbook in the Christian Leadership Department is worth using.

Abstract

Focusing on the form of implementing PTM is limited to PAI subjects. The purpose of this study, the implications of PTM are limited to the affective and psychomotor domains of students in PAI subjects at UPT SMA Negeri 1 Palopo. This type of descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study show that the implementation of limited PTM is highly appreciated by teachers and students because the learning interactions are different when online so that students experience the direct transfer of knowledge, attitudes, and different learning experiences. Implementation of limited face-to-face learning is carried out in accordance with health protocol procedures, guidelines for implementing limited PTM during the New Normal period. The school has planned and carried out in accordance with limited face-to-face learning procedures, but in terms of implementing the teaching and learning process in class, the delivery of material is quite condensed, and only conveys important points and emphasizes the completion of assignments, so that students are driven by time and maximize time. available so that they must focus on following the lesson. Teachers do not use interactive learning models and do not involve innovative learning media that support the concrete delivery of information to students, so that this has implications for the development of the affective and psychomotor domains of students as well as student activities in schools and the development of these two aspects cannot be carried out maximally.

Abstract

The quality of learning is the result of the results of teacher work motivation carried out by the teacher, performance improvement is influenced by factors of managerial supervision and teacher motivation and. The aims of this study were to analyze: (1) The influence of the implementation of managerial supervision on the quality of learning, (2) The effect of teacher motivation on the quality of learning, and (3) The effect of the implementation of managerial supervision and teacher motivation together on the quality of learning. The results of the analysis obtained in this study are as follows: (1) The influence of the implementation of managerial supervision on the quality of learning. This can be explained by the equation Ŷ = 80.240 + 0.119 X1. With the regression equation, it can be interpreted that if the implementation of managerial supervision on the quality of learning is 21.10%, (2) The effect of teacher motivation on the quality of learning can be explained by the equation Ŷ = 57.550 + 0.164 X2. With the regression equation, it can be interpreted that if the implementation of teacher motivation on the quality of learning is 14.10%, and (3) the influence between the implementation of managerial supervision and teacher motivation together on the quality of learning, can be explained by the equation Ŷ = 68.217 + 0.174 X1 + 0.142 X2. With the regression equation, it can be interpreted that if the implementation of managerial supervision and teacher motivation on the quality of learning is 25.60%. With the conclusion that the results of the research above are to find out the influence between the implementation of managerial supervision and teacher motivation together on the quality of learning in junior high schools throughout the Waway Karya District, East Lampung Regency

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine whether the principal's leadership, work discipline, and teacher's work motivation can affect the performance given to the school. The method used in this research is quantitative research by measuring variables using a Likert scale and analyzing data using SPSS 21.0 for windows. This research involved 196 honorary teachers in public elementary schools throughout Mejobo District, Kudus Regency. The results showed that the correlation/relationship (R) was 0.913. It was explained that the large percentage of influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable was by testing the coefficient of determination which was the result of strengthening R (R Square) of 0.833, which means that the principal's leadership, work discipline, and motivation teacher work has an effect of 83% on teacher performance while other variables influence the rest. Whereas based on the t-test shows that the sig (one-sided) value is <0.01 out of 0.05, so H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted according to the decision in taking the t-test that if Ha is born, then the principal's leadership, work discipline, and work motivation partially have a positive effect on teacher performance honorary elementary school in Mejobo sub-district, Kudus district. Suggestions recommended by researchers to continue to improve the performance of honorary teachers, regulations, work systems, and rewards can be paid more attention, especially to those who have served a long time as honorary teachers, and for honorary teachers themselves to further improve the quality of performance even though the status and rewards obtained are not equal to those of teachers ASN.

Abstract

Accreditation is a form of assessment or evaluation of the quality and feasibility of an institution of a university or department carried out by an independent organization or body outside of higher education. The department is an academic implementing element that carries out professional education and if qualified can carry out academic education for undergraduate programs and/or postgraduate programs, in a section or one branch of science, technology and/or art. In order to maintain its quality, each department must carry out accreditation or reaccreditation continuously. The Pastoral Counseling Department was established in 2007 but until now the accreditation obtained by this department is still in the "Good" category, even to has undergone two form assessments by National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education. The first in 2014 obtained a grade of "C" (rank 3) and the second in 2021 is still in the 3rd rank position, which is "good." This shows that no improvement has been obtained yet. It is hoped that through this research, leaders will be able to design the ideal pastoral department leadership in accordance with standards in increasing the value of National accreditation.

Abstract

Improving Students' Understanding of the Value of Places Through Demonstration Methods in Students of Class IV-C Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul School Year 2022/2023. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of students' understanding of the material of place values through the Demonstration method so as to improve student learning outcomes in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. This class Action Research was conducted in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The type of action in this study is in the form of concrete actions, namely guiding students in the implementation of learning activities through the Demonstration method. The research was conducted in semester I, precisely in September-November 2022. This classaction research sub j ek is students in Sekolah Luar Biasa Negeri Doloksanggul Humbang Hasundutan Regency with a total of 4 students. The results showed that students' understanding of the venue value material increased after applying the Demonstration method thereby improving student learning outcomes. The average student learning outcomes increased after applying the Demonstration method to the Place Value material, where the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 45.00 increased to 80.00 in cycle II.

Abstract

Motivasi memegang peranan penting dalam memberikan gairah, semangat dan rasa senang dalam belajar, sehingga siswa yang mempunyai motivasi tinggi mempunyai energi yang banyak untuk melaksanakan kegiatan belajar. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini ada 84 orang siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa motivasi intrinsik siswa Kelas XI di SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Kisaran dalam kategori sangat baik yakni sebesar 69%. Sedangkan perilaku belajar siswa Kelas XI di SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Kisaran dalam kategori baik yakni sebesar 83%. Dan hasil perhitungan angket menunjukkan terdapat peranan motivasi intrinsik terhadap perilaku belajar siswa Kelas XI di SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Kisaran, dimana nilai chi kuadrat yang diperoleh sebesar 43,41. lebih besar dari harga kritik sebesar 21,7. Adapun kuat peranan tersebut dalam taraf sedang atau cukup, yang dapat dilihat dari nilai KK sebesar 0,58. Adapun faktor yang mendukung motivasi intrinsik terhadap perilaku belajar siswa di SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Kisaran terdiri dari faktor internal dan eksternel. Faktor internalnya berupa kondisi siswa serta adanya cita-cita atau aspirasi siswa. Sedangkan faktor eksternalnya berupa peran guru serta dukungan orang tua. Adapun faktor penghambat internal berupa kecerdasan/intelegensi siswa, dan faktor penghambat eksternal berupa lingkungan teman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penulis menyarankan kepada siswa agar dapat memilih lingkungan teman dengan motivasi belajar yang tinggi supaya dapat membawa pengaruh positif pada motivasi dan perilaku belajarnya. Kepada guru juga disarankan untuk lebih menciptakan suasana belajar yang nyaman dan menggunakan berbagai metode di kelas agar motivasi siswa tetap terjaga dengan baik.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the critical thinking of masculine male and feminine female students in solving numeracy literacy problems in the minimum competency assessment. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection method used the Bem Sex Role Inventory test to determine gender tendencies, giving math ability tests, giving problem solving assignments and interviews to determine students' critical thinking profiles. The research subjects consisted of two grade VIII junior high school students with masculine male and feminine female gender with moderate math ability. The results showed that masculine male students could fulfill all critical thinking indicators, while feminine female students could not fulfill one of the critical thinking indicators, namely analyzing problems with mathematical concepts. In addition, masculine male and feminine female students have different ways or solutions in solving numeracy literacy problems in the minimum competency assessment.
