Abstract

Being in prison is a new chapter in the life of a convict. As a result of his actions, his life was restrained and he had to be separated from the people he loved. Under these conditions, religious guidance is needed so that they remain strong and not stressed in facing life's trials. This study aims to determine the methods of implementing the guidance of religious instructors for prisoners in the Singkil Class II-B Detention Center, the inhibiting factors for the implementation of guidance and the effectiveness of implementing the guidance of religious instructors for prisoners. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study involved 2 religious educators, 4 convicts, and 1 prison officer. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the presence of Islamic religious instructors at the Aceh Singkil Ministry of Religion has a very significant role in guidance or coaching efforts at the detention center because until now the detention center has not had an internal counselor. The guidance method of the religious instructor implemented in the detention center is a method of direct communication in the form of religious lectures and guidance on reading the Koran. Obstacles in the implementation of guidance are very diverse, some are related to extension workers, convicts, detention centers and the coaching system. This is marked by an increase in convicts' understanding of Islamic teachings and their better behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and explain the level of anxiety facing the world of work in final students of Islamic Education Counseling Guidance Study Program at UIN Sumatra Utara Medan. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Final students of the Islamic Education Counseling Guidance Study Program at UIN Sumatra Utara Medan participated as research subjects. The sample is determined by using purposive sampling. The number of samples is 137 people, 21 men and 116 women. Data for this study were collected using a questionnaire that was distributed online through the Google-Form media. The results of the study revealed that the level of anxiety in facing the world of work for final students of Islamic Education Counseling Guidance Study Program at UIN Sumatra Utara Medan was moderate, with 83 students (60.6%) included in this category.

Abstract

The writing of this article aims to describe the meaning of the symbol of traditional bridal clothing and the function of traditional bridal clothing of the Dayak Kenyah tribe in East Kalimantan. The formulation of this research problem is how to group the meaning of symbols in traditional wedding clothing accessories of the Dayak Kenyah tribe and what are the functions of traditional bridal clothing accessories in the life of the Dayak Kenyah tribe in East Kalimantan. The research method used in this study is an ethnographic method with simplification of steps according to research needs. Data collection and data analysis methods in the form of interviews and literature studies. The results of the study show that there is a symbolic meaning found in the traditional wedding dress accessories of the Dayak Kenyah tribe.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in students' understanding of the concept of forms of cooperation that exist in an organization. The reason for this class action research is that there are many students who have not graduated when the evaluation is carried out on the concept of forms of cooperation in organizations. After applying the role-playing model in Civics lessons about the concept of forms of cooperation in organizations in grade IV SDN Tegal Kalong, it turns out that students' understanding has increased.

Abstract

Decision making plays an important role in improving School Effectiveness. Principals can use various styles such as authoritative, consultative, delegative, facilitative and flexible styles, Rahabav (2021). Style variations in principal decision making are adapted to the situations and conditions of the problems faced by subordinates because the impact that arises is as a result of the decision style used by the principal. The purpose of this study 1) to describe the decision-making style of principals in high schools in Distric Kairatu West Seram Regency; 2) Describe School Effectiveness in SMA in Distric. Kairatu West Seram Regency; 3) Analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors for Principal Decision Making and School Effectiveness in SMA in Distric. Kairatu, West Seram Regency. The results of the study show that the Principal has used 5 decision-making styles and the dominant one used is the flexibility style (variation of styles). School effectiveness is in the Good category. Factors supporting the principal's decision- making style; a) The principal's awareness that the school is in an era of democratization b) The principal's commitment to respecting the role of teachers and education staff. Factors inhibiting decision-making style: a) The decisions taken are not based on data; b) Decision making does not pay attention to the main tasks and functions c) The principal listens more to input from senior teacher.

Abstract

This research is aimed to investigate the errors made by the ninth grade of SMP Negeri 5 Botomuzoi in writing procedure text. It intends to (1) identify the types of errors done by the students in writing procedure text, and (2) find the causes of the errors. It applied a qualitative research. The participants were 20 students of ninth grade of SMP Negeri 5 Botomuzoi. The data were the procedure text written by the students. Those described the types of errors. Then questionnaires got from the english teacher and students described the cause of errors. Results of the data analysis indicated that there were 182 frequencies of errors done by 20 students. The types of erros done by students were omission, addition, misinformation and misordering. The frequencies of omission type done by students were 48 (26.37%). The frequencies of addition done by students were 32 (17.58%). The frequencies of misinformation done by students were 66 (36,26%). The frequencies of misordering done by students were 36 (19.78%). These errors are caused the lack of target language knowledge (intralingual errors). They consisted of lack of vocabulary, spelling, the use of plural and making noun phrases. The second cause was the frist language or mother tongue (interlingual errors). There the errors caused by the influence of first language.

Abstract

The Osing tribe in Kemiren Village still respects and preserves ancestral traditions such as: Mepe mattress, Barong Ider Bumi, Kebo-keboan, Ithuk-ithukan, Angklung Paglak, Kawin Colong, Mocoan Lontar, Barong Caruk, Gandrung dance etc. From the various kinds of local wisdom that exist in the Banyuwangi community, this can enrich knowledge and of course it can be used as teaching material in the learning process, this is a form of preserving regional culture. The existence of the traditions of the Osing tribal community in the world of education is armed with various forms of local wisdom that exist in the Osing tribe. This is a form of cultural heritage that can be used as a source of learning at the elementary to senior high school levels in Banyuwangi Regency. Local wisdom values ​​can be implemented in all subjects, especially in sociology. Implementation of an educational approach based on local wisdom in sociology learning in schools is one of the solutions related to problems that exist in the community environment. Students are invited to be sensitive to their social environment and with an approach based on local wisdom students are invited to find out what local wisdom exists in their respective areas. Through sociology subjects at school, students are directed to be able to become virtuous Indonesian citizens by upholding local wisdom values, loving cultural differences, and being able to coexist regularly within the community.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out what factors affect the English anxiety of 11th-grade students of AKL SMK PGRI Rangkasbitung. In particular, the researchers tried to identify the internal and external factors that can influence students' anxiety in learning English based on internal and external perspectives. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. Ten students were selected as participants. Data were collected through questionnaires. The results showed that students' anxiety was divided into internal and external factors. Shame, lack of self-confidence, memory dissociation, and stage fear are internal factors. Grammar ability, vocabulary, students' reading skills, and peers are included as external factors.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the consistency of the implementation of sanitation, especially the habit of washing hands with soap (CTPS) and the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) waste management method in elementary schools in border areas. In carrying out the research it was found that the level of understanding of elementary school students in border areas about sanitation was still very low with a percentage reaching 70.00%, this was in line with the practice of implementing sanitation in schools which was still quite low, especially in the practice of washing hands with soap (CTPS) and maintaining cleanliness. waste reached 60.00%. While the results of a questionnaire with teacher respondents showed an understanding level of sanitation reaching 70.00%, this is in line with the practice of maintaining sanitation in the form of Hand Washing with Soap (CTPS) reaching 80.00%, but at the point of waste processing specifically with the 3R method (Reduce , Reuse, Recycle) garbage, 80.00% of respondents' answers did not understand the method. The linearity of the answers from the two respondent subjects on the activity of maintaining sanitation in schools consistently answered that it had not been carried out properly with a percentage of 70.00%. This is then clarified by the results of observations and interviews which show the practice of maintaining sanitation in the form of Hand Washing with Soap (CTPS) processing 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) waste. In the 3 elementary schools in the border area which were the observation sites, there was consistency with the facts on the ground that the implementation of sanitation in the form of Hand Washing with Soap (CTPS) processing 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) waste post-Covid 19 had not been carried out.

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis are (1) to produce an interactive UKBM Flipbook product with Canva in the English subject for Discussion Text Materials at SMA Negeri 2 Blitar. (2) find out the feasibility of interactive UKBM Flipbook with Canva in the English subject Discussion Text material at SMA Negeri 2. This development uses the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) From the results of the study, data was obtained that at the expert validation stage which was divided into Material Expert Validation by 95%, Media Expert validation by 85% and Design Expert Validation by 93%. If it is converted into the validity criteria adapted from Sugiyono (2011: 93) and very valid criteria are obtained for material validation, valid from Media experts and very valid by Design experts. So that as a whole the product development in the form of UKBM Interactive Flipbook with Canva in English subject, Discussion Text material, is very valid and feasible to use. Meanwhile, the results of the data analysis from the product trial showed that the percentage level of module validity was 88% with very valid criteria for 10 students as small group test respondents. Meanwhile, in the large group trial, the average percentage of module validity was 87% with very valid criteria for 33 students as respondents. It can be concluded that this interactive UKBM flipbook with Canva is very practical to use in learning English for Class XII Discussion text materia.
