Abstract

Education in the 21st century emphasizes not only the quality of learning and academic achievements but also the formation of student character. Although character education has become a primary focus in recent decades, its implementation is often overlooked, especially in Indonesia. In the context of formal education in schools, there is an imbalance between academic competence and character development. To address this imbalance, the Comprehensive Guidance and Counselling (CGC) program is expected to bridge between academic achievement and character formation. This research focuses on the implementation and effectiveness of the CGC program in shaping the character of responsibility at Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Junior High School. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, the results show that the CGC program has had a positive impact on the formation of students' responsibility character. Support from various parties is key to the successful implementation of this program, but there are also challenges, especially related to the influence of social media and mental health issues among teenagers. This research is expected to contribute to character education literature and serve as a reference for educational practitioners in Indonesia..

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in carrying out summative evaluations of students at SMK Negeri 6 Sukoharjo. This research uses descriptive methods in a qualitative context, collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The focus of this research is the role of teachers in implementing summative evaluations, while the research subject is one of the PAI teachers at the school. The research results show that teachers not only function as evaluators, but also as motivators. As an evaluator, the teacher must be able to assess students' abilities during the learning process. Summative evaluation is one of the mechanisms used to determine student abilities at the end of the learning period. This evaluation is carried out at the end of the learning cycle, usually through a mid-semester exam (PTS) or final semester exam (PAS). Apart from that, summative evaluation also provides important insight into the successes and shortcomings in the educational process to achieve the stated goals.

Abstract

This study aimed to provide a comprehensive detail of comprehension development within the Pirie-Kieren layers of understanding and the process of students folding students in resolving issues related to a two-variable linear equation system, focusing on the concept of adversity quotient. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The data was collected on 36 students from class VIII-B at State Senior High School 2 of Taman. Within this sample, 6 students were selected, comprising of 2 students classified as having a high adversity quotient (referred to as “climber”), 2 students with a moderate adversity quotient (referred to as “camper”), and 2 students with a low adversity quotient (referred to as “quitter”). The study used problem-solving tests and interviews as data-gathering techniques, followed by data analysis techniques outlined by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings of this study indicated that the climber students demonstrated proficiency across all eight layers of understanding, as proposed by Pirie and Kieren. Climber students exhibited the process of folding back, which involved retrieving previously learned information to effectively address the current challenge without deviating from the relevant subject matter. On the other hand, camper students could attain a level of comprehension that extends to the structuring layer, albeit with a limitation in terms of the maximum attainable layer. However, it is essential to note that not all indicators of layer understanding may be attained flawlessly by camper students. Camper students underwent a process of folding back, delving into deeper layers, and gathering additional information to ensure the accuracy of their work. Quitter students could attain the image-making layer because they use inappropriate methods. However, suppose they employ a trial and error; the resultant value must satisfy two equations. Camper students experienced folding back, delving into more profound layers, and gathering deeper layers to ensure their work's accuracy.

Abstract

The process of forming compound verbs in Japanese has different patterns and rules from Indonesian. Japanese compound verbs are formed by combining two verbs to form a new verb that carries a certain meaning. The process of combining two verbs lexically can be grouped into aspectual lexical compound verbs and thematic lexical compound verbs. This research focuses on thematic lexical compound verbs, and provides a descriptive explanation of the meanings that emerge as a result of the process of combining two verbs thematic-lexically. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with an interpretive approach, with proportional random sampling data collection techniques using documentation methods. The results of this research show that the process of combining two verbs thematic-lexically to form a lexical thematic compound verb will give rise to new meanings that can be seen from the relationship between V1 and V2, namely the meaning of means of action, manner of motion/movement, cause-result, and parallel meaning.

Abstract

The research objective is to provide knowledge to students in particular, and the wider community in general about folklore or folklore entitled 'Princess Mandalika' originating from the Sasak tribe in learning Islamic religious education based on local wisdom. The research method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, and observation, interviews and documentation are the data collection techniques used. The researcher analyzes the data by collecting data, reducing the data that has been collected by taking important data and discarding unimportant data. Finally, the researcher draws conclusions according to the data in the field. As for the results of this study that local wisdom can be grown in students in teaching and learning activities (KBM) at school starting from 07:15-12:00, in Mulok lessons will be included a lesson about folklore entitled 'putri mandalika', as well as asking students to find moral messages related to learning Islamic religious education in the story. The growth of local wisdom in students is carried out through a learning process.

This study focuses on the process of language acquisition, which is limited to children's language acquisition. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the process of language acquisition. For children aged 06. Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the exclusion process in the shooting of Brigadier Joshua, (2) describe the inclusion process in the shooting of Brigadier Joshua. Criminal news is used as an object of research in the field of language, especially discourse analysis. Theo Van Leeweun's discourse analysis model introduces the way a person (actor) is marginalized in a discourse. This research is limited to Deddy Corbuzier's Youtube podcast video discussing the shooting case of Brigadier Joshua. The results of this study found two exclusion processes, namely passivation and nominalization, while the five inclusion processes include differentiation-differentiation, objectivation-abstraction, nomination-categorization, nomination-identification, and determination-indetermination. So it can be concluded that in this video podcast, the actor is marginalized by exclusion because of the actor's relationship involved in the Brigadier Joshua shooting case. While inclusionary marginalization is carried out to maintain the good name of government agencies that are known to be clean and care for the community.

Abstract

The literacy skills of elementary school students at SDN Sukosari are very low, this can be seen from the students' ability to read writing, which still uses the spelling of basic letters one by one combined. This condition is quite worrying considering that the school is located in the Madiun City area, because of this, efforts need to be made to overcome it so that students are not left behind in their pursuit of understanding knowledge. The aim of this research is to determine students' literacy levels and provide treatment through flashcard learning media. This research method uses classroom action research which includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection carried out through two cycles and in collaboration with school teachers. The results of the research show that flashcard learning media can improve the literacy skills of elementary school students because this media makes it easier for students to get to know the pictures on the cards more quickly, thereby strengthening their memory of the vocabulary, so flashcards as a tool to increase new vocabulary can be accelerate students' literacy skills.

Abstract

This literature review aims to explore and analyze the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Early Childhood Islamic Education. Through a literature review approach, this research aims to identify the benefits of PjBL in forming creativity, clean and healthy lifestyles, social skills, and critical thinking abilities in young children. In relation to the Independent Curriculum, this study also evaluates the extent to which PjBL is in accordance with curriculum principles which emphasize character, creativity and independence. The research focus is also focused on the impact of PjBL on early childhood Islamic education, by assessing its influence on the development of Islamic character, understanding religious values, and children's involvement in the learning process. The results of this literature review are expected to provide strategic insight for the implementation of PjBL in Independent Curriculum in Early Childhood Islamic Education. As a contribution to educational literature, this study is expected to provide a theoretical and practical basis for the development of relevant and effective learning methods in the context of early childhood Islamic education.

Abstract

In the world of trading, optimization problems include maximizing profits (maximization) or minimizing costs (minimization), both of which can be solved using the simplex method. The aim of this research is to maximize the production profits of the Ginger Sribu herbal business group whose address is Bulu Village, Sukomoro District, Magetan Regency using the simplex method. This research was conducted at the Jahe Sribu herbal medicine house (Nur Rohmiati's mother's house) as a production site for Ginger Sribu herbal medicine. The analysis carried out in this research used the simplex method with the Microsoft Excel solver function. The instruments used were observation and interviews. The results of the research show that there is an optimum production amount for each product (small bottle of kencur rice 250ml, medium 500ml, large 600ml) in the production of the Ginger Sribu herbal medicine business group so as to obtain maximum profits.
