Abstract

This community service aims to examine the effectiveness of prayer training based on modeling and reinforcement in improving religious self-efficacy of grade 3 elementary school students at Pasraman Tirtha Bhuana Bekasi. The main problem faced is the low ability of students to memorize and recite daily prayers correctly and confidently. The method used is training based on Bandura's social learning theory through a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The training was carried out in four sessions with stages of modeling, independent and group practice, positive reinforcement, and reflection. The pretest results showed that all students were not yet able to recite prayers correctly. After the training, there was a significant increase in students' ability and confidence in reciting prayers, as measured by posttest scores and normalized gain analysis. The conclusion shows that prayer training based on modeling and reinforcement is effective in building religious self-efficacy of elementary school students. Abstract

Indonesia is a vast archipelago, making diversity a unique asset. However, differences are often used as an excuse for bullying, causing discomfort for victims. Therefore, the MKWK team participated in a bullying prevention program in SMK Triatma Jaya Tabanan. The goal of the activity was to empower participants to avoid potential bullying, whether as victims or perpetrators. The speaker who is also a psychologist, presented the material using various examples and videos. This is expected to have a significant impact on understanding the importance of protecting oneself and others from bullying behavior. Students were introduced to four types of bullying namely physical, verbal, social, and cyber, so they can avoid them and adopt a stance embracing diversity. If there are victims of bullying it can be done five steps such as courageously reprimanding the perpetrator, diverting the perpetrator's attention, inviting others to help, waiting for the situation to subside, and attempting to record the incident. In this assistance, personal safety is the primary consideration. Teachers also received reinforcement in monitoring and processing when bullying occured. This education can be seen as forming a collective awareness to reject bullying actions in order to create a safe and comfortable school environment.

Abstract

ABSTRACT There are still some people who do not understand the difference between the expiration date (Expired Date/ED) and the drug usage limit (Beyond Use Date/BUD). BUD is the time limit for drug use after compounding or after the primary packaging is opened. This activity aims to increase public knowledge, understanding, and awareness regarding the importance of paying attention to the safe limit for drug use or Beyond Use Date (BUD), so that people can use drugs wisely, safely, and responsibly. The activity implementation method includes counseling, material presentation, distribution of leaflets or brochures, and filling out pre-tests and post-tests. The number of participants who took part in this activity was 26 people. The results of the health promotion activity at the Lempake Community Health Center, Samarinda City showed that the average knowledge of participants about Beyond Use Date before providing education was 31.92%, and increased to 88.08% after being given information. Thus, it can be concluded that this activity was successful in increasing public knowledge regarding Beyond Use Date in the Lempake Community Health Center area, Samarinda City.. Abstract

The Tri Hita Karana-based ngayah concept in community service activities involves installing solar-powered lighting at Padharman Temple. This community service involves installing solar-powered lighting in the temple's parking area. This lighting installation is necessary because the parking area is often poorly lit at night. The use of solar panels as a power source is ideal for the parking area, which is free of trees and quite far from the electricity grid. The solar-powered lighting installation was assisted by students, temple caretakers, and the local community. In addition to increasing solar-powered lighting in the parking area, the ngayah activity also provided guidance on how to use solar panel technology. Increasing the lighting intensity in the parking area allows for smooth and environmentally friendly nighttime activities. It also aims to increase public understanding of the technical instructions for installing and maintaining solar-powered lighting. This Tri Hita Karana-based ngayah concept has succeeded in providing services and increasing local community insight into solar panels and their use.

Abstract

Balinese, which is the native language of Bali, is taught in schools (especially elementary schools) in Bali as a local content subject. As part of the education curriculum, Balinese language lessons are also studied by multicultural and multilingual students, especially in urban areas. Balinese language learning is generally less appealing to students who do not speak Balinese because, first, Balinese is not their first or second language, and Balinese is not very demanding in their lives. This lack of interest leads to a lack of competence in Balinese among students. To improve students' competence, especially their communicative competence, it is considered necessary to start a recreational learning process, which keeps students interested and enjoying the learning process so that they are motivated to study well and achieve good results. This paper explores the importance of recreational learning methods, in this case learning through stories, complete with role-playing, learning through songs and music, and learning through group activities and games. This model is also very effective in improving children's character.

Abstract

The development of community-based tourism villages has the potential to improve local economic welfare, and preserve culture, and the environment. Taman Anyar as one of the attractions of educational tourism in Penarungan Tourism Village, faces obstacles in utilizing digital media as a promotional medium for educational tourism. Currently, managers only use Instagram and Facebook as promotional media, with the majority of the content disseminated in the form of photos and video recordings that have not gone through the editing process. Based on the results of interviews with the manager of Taman Anyar, the Real Work Lecture team of Triatma Mulya University identified the need to strengthen digital-based promotion to strengthen the attraction of educational tourism in Taman Anyar. This activity aims to strengthen the attraction of educational tourism and tourists' interest in local tourism potential through the presentation of informative content and the use of digital media. In addition, this activity also aims to provide insight for local communities in managing and developing sustainable educational tourism. The methods used in this activity are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this activity show that with the seminars and trainings, managers and local communities increasingly understand the importance of digital promotional content in attracting tourists and sustainable management of educational tourism. In addition, assistance in creating promotional video content and booklets uploaded to digital platforms, such as YouTube and Instagram, introduces Taman Anyar to a wider audience. With this activity, it is hoped that Taman Anyar can be better known by domestic and foreign tourists, increase tourist visits, and have a positive impact on the local economy and the preservation of Balinese culture.

Abstract

A clean school environment is an important element that supports student comfort and health during the learning process. At SD No. 2 Ungasan, several conditions still exist that indicate the need to strengthen students' understanding of how to maintain environmental cleanliness, especially in terms of sorting waste and disposing of waste properly. In response to this, the Nusantara V KKN Team, Group 25 of I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa State Hindu University, Denpasar, conducted a socialization activity "Let's Create a Clean and Healthy School Environment." This activity was carried out through community education methods that included the delivery of visual materials, interactive discussions, quizzes, video screenings, and sociodramas to strengthen students' understanding. The results of the activity showed that students were able to explain the steps to maintain a clean school environment, recognize the impact of an unmaintained environment, and differentiate between organic, inorganic, and residual waste. Active student participation during the activity demonstrated that the socialization method applied was appropriate to their needs. Overall, this activity made a positive contribution to increasing students' knowledge and awareness of the importance of maintaining a clean environment. Continuous implementation of socialization is recommended so that clean living habits can be further ingrained in the school environment.

Abstract

The development of ecotourism in Siakin Village faces challenges in optimizing its natural and cultural potential, particularly organic garlic farming practices,. This community service project aims to enhance the appeal of ecotourism in Siakin Village through the creation and socialization of visual promotional media in the form of flyers. The method employed is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation studies, supported by counseling on organic garlic cultivation as high-quality medicinal raw material,,. The results indicate that flyers are effective as both promotional instruments and educational media regarding environmental sustainability values for both the community and tourists,. Despite constraints in design skills and budget limitations, strategic solutions such as design training for the community and the integration of physical and digital distribution were able to overcome these obstacles,,. Through this collaborative approach, visual media has successfully strengthened Siakin Village's image as a sustainable ecotourism destination, which in turn is expected to increase tourist visits and support the long-term economic empowerment of the local community.

Abstract

Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Ibu Kadek Meli Utari yang telah memulai usaha ini sejak tahun 2006. Mitra memproduksi jajan pasar seperti: donat, bolu, dadar gulung, jajan mangkok, kue nastar, kue kastangel, kue putri salju. Mitra menjual produk jajan dengan kisaran harga Rp 800-Rp2.000 untuk jajan pasar dan kue di jual dengan harga Rp50.000-Rp75.000/ kotak. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah keterbatasan alat produksi sebagian proses masih menggunakan manual. Pemasaran jajan dilakukan dengan menitipkan pada kantin, pasar dan warung di area lokasi rumah mitra. Produk belum memiliki logo kemasan sehingga konsumen yang ingin membeli tidak dapat menghubungi langsung. Mitra tidak memiliki pencatatan keuangan yang jelas untuk pemasukan dan pengeluaran sehingga tidak terlihat dengan pasti keuntungan yang diperoleh. Dari permasalahan tersebut maka dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini akan berfokus pada aspek produksi penambahan alat produksi untuk menggantikan proses manual. Aspek pemasaran untuk meningkatkan penyebaran informasi dengan pembuatan instagram dan pelatihan penggunaan website profile usaha mitra. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kapasitas produksi sebesar 45% serta peningkatan jangkauan pemasaran sebesar 70%. Mitra telah memiliki identitas produk berupa logo dan label kemasan serta mampu memanfaatkan media digital untuk promosi usaha.

Abstract

This article examines the legal standing of the Sekaa Teruna-Teruni awig-awig within the framework of customary village autonomy under Article 18B of the 1945 Constitution and applicable legislation, particularly Bali Provincial Regulation No. 4 of 2019 on Customary Villages in Bali. Furthermore, this article describes the process of assisting in the drafting of the awig-awig of Sekaa Teruna-Teruni Dharma Laksana in Banjar Luglug, Desa Adat Lembeng, Gianyar Regency as a concrete manifestation of strengthening customary village autonomy in local governance based on customary law. This research employs a juridical-empirical method through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentary studies. The results indicate that the Sekaa Teruna-Teruni awig-awig holds a strong legal position as state-recognized customary law and serves as a vital instrument for Balinese youth to self-organize independently. The drafting assistance process contributes significantly to strengthening customary village institutional capacity, preserving local wisdom values, and increasing the active participation of youth in customary village governance. This research recommends that similar assistance be extended to all banjar across Bali as a sustainable strategy for strengthening customary village autonomy.
