Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how students' communication skills during discussions can have an influence on student learning outcomes, as well as knowing student learning outcomes, and to find out the significant influence between teacher communication skills on the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMKN 1 Tana Toraja. This research is a quantitative descriptive research with the type of research using a field survey. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is Product moment correlation. The results of this research can be concluded that students' communication skills in the discussion method have a good influence with a percentage of 65% and student learning outcomes are sufficient with a percentage of 35%. There is a significant influence between students' communication skills on learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject class XI SMKN 1 Tana Toraja. Hypothesis testing is as follows: where ro = 0.005 is greater than r table at a significance level of 5% = 0.396, thus Ha is accepted and HO is rejected. This means that the better the students' ability to communicate, the better the grades obtained by students at SMKN 1 Tana Toraja.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the form of mother tongue that often interferes with mastery of Indonesian, as well as to find out the factors that cause mother tongue interference with mastery of Indonesian in writing the Mamasa folklore by class IX students of SMPN 2 Sesenapadang Mamasa. The type of research used is qualitative research. The research method used is direct observation (observation). The analysis techniques used are data collection, data redaction, data presentation and conclusions and withdrawal/verification. The results of the research show that it is true that there is interference in Mamasa's mother tongue with the mastery of Indonesian in writing Mamasa folk tales by class IX students of SMPN 2 Sesenapadang Mamasa, due to the students/speakers' daily habit of using their mother tongue.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine whether there are differences in the teaching results of teachers who are committed to their duties and responsibilities based on educational professionalism competencies, in relation to the achievement of the students being taught. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Data collection procedures were carried out using observation, interviews, documentation studies and questionnaire methods. The data analysis method used in this research is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this research show that a number of teachers ± 63% of the teaching staff can be categorized according to educational competence and professionally carry out their duties. There is still a perceived shortage of teachers, so the allocation of additional teachers should be those who have competence and have a teaching certificate and a teaching certificate. Opportunities and challenges in improving the quality of education still require awareness from the government and all related parties, including teachers, to instill awareness of their professionalism and competence as educators whose success greatly influences the quality of the school outcomes they provide.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe positive and negative politeness strategies based on Brown and Levinson's theory of politeness and how polite communication in electronic print media forms reader integrity. The research was conducted as a qualitative type of research. Data collection procedures were carried out using reading techniques, note-taking techniques and documentation techniques. The data analysis method was carried out in four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification and conclusions. The results of this research show that communication politeness in electronic print media uses fifteen positive politeness strategies and eight negative politeness strategies. The fifteen positive politeness strategies and eight negative politeness strategies used by the three electronic print media consisting of detiknews.com, kompas.com, and tribunnews.com, namely speakers and readers (listeners/readers) are marked with words, phrases, clauses, and sentences on electronic print media. The politeness of communication in electronic print media used by the three electronic print media consisting of detiknews.com, kompas.com, and tribunnews.com, as forming the integrity of readers, is marked in words, phrases, clauses and sentences, namely being critical, creative, excel, and be responsible for oneself, the environment, family, and apply it in everyday life.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the teacher's ability to apply the Team Assisted Individualization type cooperative learning model to improve Indonesian language learning outcomes, (2) to describe students' Indonesian language learning outcomes through the application of the Team Assisted Individualization type cooperative learning model in class VIII students at State Middle Schools. 4 South Makale. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews, tests, field notes and documentation. The results of this research show that 1) the teacher's ability to manage learning using the Team Assisted Individualization type cooperative learning model for students is classified as very good. This can be seen from the overall average score of 4.57 over the three meetings; 2) student learning outcomes increase with the Team Assisted Individualization learning model. This can be seen from the results of the initial test (pre-test) of 25 students, none of whom achieved a KKM score ≥ 70 because they only got an average score of 30.90, while in the final test (post-test) only 3 people did not complete it. of 25 students with an average score of 80.35. Classically and individually, students achieve completeness of the KKM score in the final test after being given treatment compared to the initial test before being given treatment.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the differences in the results of dribble jumpshoot in basketball extracurricular participants at SMAN 3 Mandau. This type of research is comparative desciptive research. The sample for this research was 20 basketball extracurricular participants at SMAN 3 Mandau. The data collection technique was carried out by looking at the practice of basketball extracurricular participants using the dribble shooting and dribble jumpshoot tests. The results of this study showed that the results of dribble jumpshoot were better than dribble shooting with a known t count of 11,859 > 2,262 an a significant probability of 0,00 < 0,05, then the H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted,therefore there is a significant difference between the results of dribble shooting and dribble jumpshoot in basketball extracurricular participants at SMAN 3 Mandau.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika adalah keterampilan menggunakan kegiatan matematika untuk memecahkan masalah dalam pembelajaran maupun kehidupan sehari-hari. Pendekatan problem solving merupakan suatu pendekatan yang membantu Peserta didik untuk menggunakan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang sudah dimiliki untuk diterapkan ke dalam pemecahan masalah yang tidak rutin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebutuhan pendekatan problem solving untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika Peserta didik. Penelitian ini masih tahap studi pendahuluan dengan subyek peserta didik kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri 1 Sedayu. Pengumpulan informasi dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner studi awal dan evaluasi kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dirumuskan oleh Huberman dan Miles (1992). Proses analisis melibatkan langkah-langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengecekan serta penarikan kesimpulan.. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 34% peserta didik memperoleh nilai di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) dan hanya 18% peserta didik yang masuk ke dalam kategori tinggi dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran problem solving perlu diterapkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

This research began with researchers observing students. Many students find it difficult when working on math story problems. So this research needs to be carried out with the aim of analyzing and describing the causes of students' difficulties in solving story problems. Indicators of difficulty in this research include poor understanding of concepts, difficulty in determining steps to solve story problems, and difficulty in converting story problems into mathematical form. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This is because the data analyzed is descriptive data in the form of spoken or written words and behavior or actions that can be observed. Data collection was carried out based on test results containing story questions and interviews with students. The results of the research concluded that students still had difficulty finding problems and determining the steps to be completed in the problem. Apart from that, students are also less careful in solving math story problems.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji kebutuhan LKPD (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik) berbasis Etnomatematika untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar matematika. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VII disalah satu SMP Negeri di Yogyakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, penyebaran angket, dan hasil ulangan yang menggunakan indikator motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa hasil. Pertama, 63% siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi matematika. Kedua, 87% siswa tidak memiliki motivasi untuk belajar matematika. Ketiga, 73% siswa mengatakan bahkan media pembelajaran yang memudahkan belajar matematika adalah LKPD, 20% memilih buku sebagai media pembelajaran yang memudahkan belajar matematika dan 7% siswa memilih media pembelajaran lainnya. Serta diperoleh hasil 70% siswa tertarik jika bahan ajar bangun ruang dikemas dalam bentuk LKPD berbasis Etnomatematika untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Selain itu, hasil ulangan menunjukan bahwa masih terdapat 87% siswa memperoleh nilai di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Oleh karena itu pengembangan LKPD berbasis Etnomatematika dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar.

Abstract

Studi ini mengeksplorasi pola rekrutmen guru yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di MA Bilingual Muslimat NU Sidoarjo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah dan guru terhadap proses rekrutmen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola rekrutmen guru terfokus pada beberapa aspek yang dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran di MA Bilingual Muslimat NU Sidoarjo. Pertama, penerimaan guru yang memiliki pemahaman nilai-nilai keagamaan, kedua kompetensi akademik dan profesionalisme untuk memastikan bahwa guru memiliki kemampuan yang memadai untuk mengajar secara efektif dalam lingkungan bilingual, dan kesesuaian terhadap visi dan misi sekolah yang berkontribusi positif terhadap kualitas pembelajaran. kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pola rekrutmen memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan keberhasilan institusi Pendidikan dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang berkualitas.
