Abstract

Self-efficacy of students in understanding educational statistics material is the main focus of this analysis. Through the Finding Facts stage, the complexity of the material, lack of support from lecturers, and ineffective curriculum/methods of teaching are identified as key factors influencing the low self-efficacy of students. The Finding Acceptance stage confirms a high acceptance of these findings as issues needing to be addressed. The implications of this analysis emphasize the need for holistic action to enhance student self-efficacy, through simplifying materials, increasing lecturer support, and revolutionizing curriculum and teaching methods. Thus, the article proposes concrete steps to create a supportive and empowering learning environment for students facing challenges in learning educational statistics.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and examine related issues in physical education. The issue or problem raised in this article is about physical fitness in school students. The 2022 Sport Development Index (SDI) shows the condition of physical strength/physical fitness of the Indonesian people: 0.07% is in the superior category; 1.6% excellent; 3.5% good; 9.7% moderate; 23.9% less; and 60.1% very little. Based on the low level of physical fitness of students in Indonesia, there must be a solution to this problem. Through physical education given to students at school, so far it has not had an effect on increasing students' physical fitness. Therefore, improvements are needed in the management of physical education learning in schools. With good learning management, it will be possible to improve students' physical fitness, and be in line with the goals of physical education.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the development and pattern of sports coaching of the Indonesian Community Recreational Sports Federation (FORMI) in recreational sports in Central Java. The research method uses descriptive qualitative using an ex post fact approach. This research aims to examine events that have occurred and then trace them back to find out the factors that could have caused these events. The subjects of this research are the human resources in the management of FORMI Central Java, namely the chairman, secretary, treasurer and division heads. The data collection technique uses data triangulation with interview guidelines, observation and documentation. The research was carried out based on interview guidelines that had been prepared and approved by expert validators. Data analysis in this research was done by data reduction, data presentation and verification. Based on the interview guide, the results of the interview data show that the development of recreational sports coaching patterns at FORMI Central Java has fulfilled the provisions for running an organization in the form of a coaching and development process, but the level, good or bad, of the uptake of community ideas that can be realized depends on the management and supportive government. Based on data found through interviews and documents obtained, of all the activities carried out for the development and development of recreational sports in Central Java, only 43% were realized.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of cooperative learning strategies in developing students' social and academic skills in high schools in Padang City. Cooperative learning involves students working in small groups to achieve specific learning goals. The main characteristics of this strategy include direct face-to-face interaction, individual and group accountability, cooperation, social skills development, and group evaluation. The implementation of techniques such as Jigsaw, Think-Pair-Share, Group Investigation, and STAD shows significant improvements in students' social and academic skills. The study results indicate that cooperative learning not only enhances academic understanding but also enriches students' interpersonal skills, which are crucial for character and competence development in the future.

Abstract

Gender equality is a condition where men and women are equal in fulfilling rights and policies. Gender equality is related to equal pay in work, zero tolerance for sexual harassment, equal opportunities in education, both men and women get the same position in work. Gender equality is also related to socialist feminist theory, where the thinking is related to the sharpening of oppression in the capitalist and patriarchal systems which cause social oppression. The aim of this research is to determine the perceptions of students at the Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau Islamic University regarding the issue of gender equality in education. The method used is a qualitative. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, literature. The results of this research indicate that students at the Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau Islamic University are in the circle of gender equality in education.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to discuss the development of preschool teacher competence in the early childhood learning process. Developing the competency of Early Childhood Education (preschool) teachers is very important in improving the quality of early childhood education. Early childhood teachers must have pedagogical and professional competencies that enable them to develop innovative learning media and actualize the various potentials that children have. In several studies, it was found that there are still many preschool teachers who do not meet the competency standards set, so it is necessary to carry out training and competency development to improve the quality of education. In several community service activities, early childhood teachers are expected to be able to understand students by recognizing early childhood development and utilizing information technology as a learning medium.

Abstract

This research examines the phenomenon of carok in Madura, exploring the reasons and impacts of this occurrence. The aim is to understand the motives behind the violence and its consequences, as well as the related cultural, legal, and religious implications. The study employs a descriptive analytical approach with data from literature such as books, theses, journals, and articles. Findings indicate that carok is triggered by factors like disputes over women, misunderstandings, land conflicts, religious differences, and criminal acts. Although part of Madura's culture, carok has serious repercussions including death and legal violations. The study highlights the importance of effective conflict prevention and resolution. The conclusion emphasizes that carok is often motivated by various factors and leads to violence and legal infractions, with the cases of Mat Hasan and Wardi as examples. The research underscores the significance of peaceful resolution in addressing the complexities of culture, law, and religion in Indonesia.

Abstract

In Islam, neighborly manners are highly recommended, because neighborly harmony is one of the main pillars in building a harmonious and prosperous society. In fact, the Prophet SAW also made this as one of the signs of one's faith. But on the other hand, it is not uncommon to find neighbors who make noise at night and often make other neighbors around them feel uncomfortable and disturbed. In addition to violating neighborly manners, it also violates positive law in Indonesia. The Criminal Code is one of the positive laws that regulates neighborly life, which discusses the rights and obligations of neighbors and the actions of neighbors that violate the law. The discussion that will be discussed in this research, namely regarding the noise of neighbors seen in the perspective of one of the hadiths and articles in the Criminal Code. This is intended so that ordinary people are not ignorant of the importance of neighborly manners and introduce the applicable law related to the issue so that the community can maintain harmony in neighboring. Normative juridical is the method of approach that researchers use to examine this research with secondary materials available laws, books, and journals.

Abstract

This research examines the "Venture Capital Zombie" phenomenon and its implications for global economic stability. "Venture Capital Zombie" refers to venture capital firms that continue to operate despite being unable to generate significant profits or innovations. This study employs secondary data analysis, literature review, and policy analysis to minimize the economic impact of zombie venture capital. The research findings indicate that this phenomenon can hinder innovation, create resource allocation distortions, and increase systemic risk. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) in Indonesia has identified this issue and is preparing regulations to address it. This study suggests the need for stricter supervision, investment diversification, and better risk mitigation strategies to reduce the negative impact of "venture capital zombies." The conclusions of this research provide valuable insights for policymakers and financial practitioners in efforts to maintain global economic stability.

Abstract

Listening learning media in higher classes is an intermediary tool that makes it easier for students to focus on understanding learning material. This research aims to determine the concept of listening learning media in high school. This research method uses qualitative methods based on literature study. Literature study is a method that collects various sources to be used as references. The results of this research show that there are still many students who are less serious about understanding the learning material. Therefore, listening learning media is very important to use in the learning process. Because, using listening learning media can make it easier for students to focus on understanding the meaning of the learning they are listening to and can make learning more interesting and not boring.
