Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of organizational learning and discipline on teacher performance by considering teacher performance as a mediating variable in elementary schools in Cilegon City. Organizational learning is an effort made by schools to improve teacher skills and knowledge through various training programs and professional development. Teacher discipline reflects the level of compliance with the rules and regulations that apply in the school environment. Teacher performance is measured based on the achievement of work results, innovation in teaching, and contribution to the school environment. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 118 teachers in several elementary schools in Cilegon City as research samples. Data analysis was carried out using regression techniques and path analysis to test direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results of the study indicate that: 1) organizational learning has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. 2) Discipline also plays an important role in improving teacher performance. 3) Teacher performance was found as a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between organizational learning and discipline on teacher performance. 4) These findings indicate that improving teacher performance can be achieved through the development of effective organizational learning and the implementation of strict discipline. This study provides practical implications for school administrators and educational policy makers to design professional development programs that focus on organizational learning and discipline enforcement to improve the quality of teacher performance

Abstract

Digital literacy is one of the most important skills along with the development of education that emphasizes critical thinking skills, collaboration, communication, and creativity. Teachers are expected to be able to integrate digital technology into the learning process to make it more effective, interactive, and in accordance with the needs of students. The digital learning environment requires education actors to have adequate digital literacy competencies in order to create a conducive learning environment. Teachers as important actors in learning should have adequate digital literacy skills. This study aims to analyze the digital literacy skills of teachers at SDN 37 Ampenan and to find out what percentage of the digital literacy skills of teachers at SDN 37 Ampenan. The subjects of this study were fifteen teachers. The type of research is quantitative descriptive. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed and it was found that overall the digital literacy of teachers was in the good category. Seventy percent were categorized as good, thirty percent were categorized as very good, and zero percent were categorized as lacking and very lacking. Teacher digital literacy is the basic capital in learning, so that learning can be packaged and implemented according to global needs and challenges in the 4.0 era.

Abstract

In the educational environment, schools have a critical role in determining the quality and effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. Transformational leadership that focuses on motivation and innovation is considered capable of responding more effectively to the challenges of modern education. In Cilegon City, there is an observation that performance has a direct impact on teacher discipline and mentality, which in turn affects the quality of teaching by teachers. Several factors that can improve performance are transformational leadership and work discipline. This research aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and the application of discipline on teacher performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable in elementary schools in Jombang District, Cilegon City. In an era of increasingly complex education, the role of transformational leadership is crucial in building a work culture that is inspiring and oriented towards improving the quality of teaching. The application of discipline is also considered an important factor in shaping teacher behavior and work ethic. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving a number of teachers as respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) techniques to test the relationship between variables. The research results show that transformational leadership and the application of discipline have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. In addition, job satisfaction is proven to be an intervening variable that strengthens the influence of transformational and disciplinary leadership on teacher performance. These findings indicate that efforts to improve teacher performance do not only depend on aspects of leadership and discipline, but must also consider the level of job satisfaction felt by teachers. The practical implication of this research is the importance of school principals adopting a transformational leadership style and strengthening the application of discipline in order to increase job satisfaction and overall teacher performance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media lapbook yang layak dan bermanfaat untuk mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV dengan tema “Norma dan Adat Istiadat Daerahku” di SDN Tambakaji 05 Kota Semarang yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Model Borg and Gall, yang terdiri dari sembilan tahap-potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, uji coba pemakaian, dan revisi produk akhir-digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) ini. Satu orang guru kelas dan dua puluh dua siswa kelas empat menjadi subjek penelitian. Alat pengumpul data meliputi survei kebutuhan dan jawaban untuk siswa, instruktur, dan dokumen, serta lembar validasi media dan materi oleh validator. Ahli materi mendapatkan nilai 96% dan ahli media mendapatkan nilai 77% berdasarkan perolehan hasil validasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba pemakaian produk, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media Lapbook Berbasis Kearifan Lokal ini mudah digunakan dan dapat meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media lapbook berbasis kearifan lokal sangat praktis dan efisien.

Abstract

A prospective teacher must be equipped with the ability to design lessons as one of the pedagogical competencies that should be possessed by future teachers. This study aims to gain an understanding of the learning obstacles in designing Pancasila education lessons for students in the Primary School Teacher Education program. The participants in this study are students from the Primary School Teacher Education program at the University of Bengkulu. The method used in this research is qualitative. The analysis of the ability to design Pancasila education lessons was conducted through tests and interviews. The results of this study show that the learning obstacles encountered in designing Pancasila education lessons consist of ontogenic obstacles (psychological, conceptual, and instrumental), didactical, and epistemological obstacles. The recommendation from this study is to design learning that stimulates students to become independent in their learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh metode Project Based Learning (PjBL) melalui proyek 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan peserta didik kelas 5 di SDN 03 Pontianak Timur. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel 63 peserta didik yang terbagi dalam kelas kontrol dan eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket dan Alat yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah intrumen penilaian berupa angket penilaian dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata posttest kelas kontrol 89.4758 dan kelas eksperimen 87.8125. Uji T menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0.868 yang menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelas. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan metode PjBL melalui proyek 3R tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan, karena peserta didik di kedua kelas telah memiliki kesadaran dan kepekaan yang tinggi dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah melalui kegiatan seperti membuang sampah pada tempatnya, melaksanakan piket kelas, dan saling mengingatkan.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Holistic Mathematics Education (HME) model based on the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach, specifically designed for upper-grade elementary school students. The study adopts the Plomp development design, which consists of three main phases: (1) the Preliminary Phase, aimed at collecting empirical data to determine the characteristics of the model to be developed; (2) the Development Phase, aimed at designing and developing a valid and practical HME model based on the RME approach through a series of formative evaluations; and (3) the Assessment Phase, aimed at measuring the model's effectiveness in improving conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and students' character values. However, this research focuses solely on the design phase, producing outputs such as a model book, a teacher's guidebook, and a student's guidebook. The research instruments include validation sheets for both the instruments and the products, which were reviewed by experts to ensure their validity and reliability. This validation process ensures that the developed products have a strong theoretical foundation and are practically applicable in teaching mathematics at the upper elementary school level. The findings indicate that the developed products meet the criteria for validity and can thus be used for upper-grade elementary students. In subsequent stages, this model will be implemented with upper-grade students to assess its practicality and effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning for slow learners in grade II at elementary school, focusing on the preparation, implementation, and solutions applied within the context of inclusive education. The findings revealed that although teachers prepare the Lesson Plan (RPP) based on the Curriculum, the approach used remains uniform for all students, without specific adjustments for slow learners. In the learning process, while efforts to enhance student motivation and engagement are made through methods such as question-and-answer sessions and group work, slow learners do not receive tailored modifications in the learning components or assessments. Special programs like additional time for homework and regular meetings with parents have been implemented, but without intervention from Special Education Teachers (GPK). Moreover, no remedial programs are provided to help slow learners achieve mastery of the material. This study concludes that while the school adopts an inclusive education system, there are still gaps in addressing the specific needs of slow learners, requiring more attention in terms of curriculum adjustments, teaching methods, and assessment modifications to achieve optimal learning outcomes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran bagi peserta didik lamban belajar di kelas II SD, dengan fokus pada persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan solusi yang diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan inklusif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa meskipun guru telah mempersiapkan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang mengacu pada Kurikulum, pendekatan yang digunakan masih seragam untuk semua peserta didik, tanpa adanya penyesuaian khusus bagi peserta didik lamban belajar. Dalam proses pembelajaran, meskipun terdapat upaya untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan peserta didik melalui metode seperti tanya jawab dan kerja kelompok, peserta didik lamban belajar tidak mendapatkan modifikasi komponen pembelajaran atau evaluasi yang spesifik. Program khusus seperti waktu tambahan untuk tugas sepulang sekolah dan pertemuan dengan wali murid sudah diterapkan, namun tanpa adanya intervensi dari Guru Pendamping Khusus (GPK). Selain itu, belum ada program remedial yang diberikan untuk membantu peserta lamban belajar mencapai ketuntasan materi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun sekolah menerapkan sistem pendidikan inklusif, masih terdapat kesenjangan dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan khusus peserta didik lamban belajar, yang memerlukan perhatian lebih dalam hal penyesuaian kurikulum, metode, dan evaluasi pembelajaran untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran memegang peranan penting dalam menyampaikan materi secara efektif kepada siswa. Akan tetapi, masih banyak guru yang hanya mengandalkan buku ajar sebagai satu-satunya media pembelajaran. Salah satu alternatif media yang dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa adalah permainan snakes and ladders yang dimodifikasi dengan unsur etnomatematika. Dalam permainan ini, setiap siswa harus menyelesaikan soal perkalian sebelum dapat melanjutkan langkahnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan snakes and ladders media yang diperkaya konsep etnomatematika dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar. Peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah gugus 1 Pinang tahun ajaran 2025, dengan sampel dipilih secara simple random sampling. Hasil analisis hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai signifikansi < 0,05 dalam semua pengujian, analisis data Penggunaan snake and ladders bernuansa etnomatematika di kota Benteng melebihi 70, hasil uji ketuntasan klasikal pada kelas yang menggunakan snake and ladders lebih dari 75%, dan rata-rata hasil tes pembelajaran menggunakan snake and ladders media bernuansa etnomatematika di kota Benteng lebih baik daripada pembelajaran tanpa menggunakan media. Maka kesimpulannya adalah snake and ladders bernuansa etnomatematika di kota Benteng lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung matematika siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of using Flipbook Maker on student engagement and the shift in educational paradigms in elementary schools. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study, involving interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and analysis of student learning product documents. The research results show that the use of Flipbook Maker significantly enhances student engagement in learning. Students become more active in participating, creative, and collaborative in creating learning materials. Additionally, the application of this technology also brings a shift in the educational paradigm, from a lecture-based teaching approach to a more interactive, project-based, and collaborative learning approach. This study also found that the use of Flipbook Maker contributes to the development of 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, and creativity, as well as positively affecting learning outcomes. These findings are expected to provide new insights into the use of technology in education, particularly at the elementary school level, and encourage the broader adoption of technology in the learning process in elementary schools.
