Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology in the education sector requires effective and innovative information and communication technology (ICT) solutions to enhance student engagement and support interactive learning. This study aims to analyse existing research patterns, collaborative structures, central themes, and future research opportunities in the field of game-based ICT learning. A bibliometric assessment was conducted using publications indexed in Scopus published between 2021 and 2025. The data were examined using VOSviewer to examine the co-occurrence of keywords, collaborative networks among authors, and the structural themes of the research. The findings indicate a significant increase in academic literature on game-based ICT learning, underscoring a strong focus on factors such as learning motivation, student engagement, digital literacy, and the development of 21st-century competencies. The study of visual depictions categorises three main research areas: the development of game-centred educational applications, the adoption of interactive digital instructional methods, and the measurement of educational outcomes. The uniqueness of this study lies in the provision of an extensive bibliometric mapping that explains the development of research themes on immersive technology and the integration of artificial intelligence in educational applications. These empirical results make a substantial contribution to the field of educational technology research by providing evidence-based insights for the design of learner-centred adaptive digital learning environments, while also directing future research toward a sustainable implementation framework and measurable impact on students' digital competencies and educational outcomes.

Abstract

This study systematically synthesizes and critically evaluates the application of Protection Motivation Theory (PMT) in explaining organizational cybersecurity behavior, addressing conceptual fragmentation in prior research through the integration of protection habit and cybersecurity awareness into an extended PMT framework. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted in accordance with PRISMA 2020 guidelines, drawing on peer-reviewed studies published between 2015 and 2025 retrieved from Scopus-indexed and major academic databases using structured Boolean search strategies. Following duplicate removal, screening, and full-text eligibility assessment, 35 studies were included and analyzed through thematic and narrative interpretative synthesis. The findings indicate that coping appraisal particularly self-efficacy consistently exerts a stronger influence on cybersecurity behavior than threat appraisal. However, sustainable compliance is reinforced by protection habits and cognitively mediated by cybersecurity awareness, suggesting that PMT functions as a dynamic motivational system rather than a static cognitive model. The study contributes theoretically by reconceptualizing protection habit as a behavioral reinforcement mechanism and cybersecurity awareness as a translational mediator within the PMT structure, thereby proposing an integrative behavioral-system model to enhance theoretical coherence and contextual applicability in organizational cybersecurity research.

Abstract

Acquisitions are an important bank restructuring strategy for overcoming financial distress; however, their direct contribution to financial recovery remains unclear. This study examines the acquisition of Bank Bukopin by KB Kookmin Bank in 2020 and its effect on the financial performance of both institutions. The research also investigates governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) as mediating variables in the relationship between acquisition and financial performance. A mixed-method approach was employed using secondary financial data from the periods before the acquisition (2018–2020) and after the acquisition (2021–2024), analyzed through paired t-tests, alongside primary survey data collected from 65 bank employees and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The findings reveal that the acquisition did not have a direct significant effect on profitability indicators, particularly Return on Assets (ROA) and Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO). However, mediation analysis demonstrates that compliance significantly mediates the relationship between acquisition and financial performance, whereas governance and risk management do not show significant mediating effects. These results indicate that immediate post-acquisition financial improvement depends more on the implementation of strong compliance mechanisms than on governance structures alone. The novelty of this study lies in decomposing the GRC framework and identifying compliance as the primary driver enabling acquisitions to achieve financial turnaround. While compliance functions as an immediate operational mechanism for financial recovery, governance and risk management appear to contribute more gradually over time. Therefore, post-merger integration strategies should prioritize strengthening compliance systems to accelerate financial performance improvement.

Abstract

Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) can be cultivated across a wide range of altitudes, from lowlands to highlands; however, production in Indonesia is predominantly conducted on dryland areas. In response to the national program promoting shallot production expansion outside Java, the development of shallot cultivation in South Sumatra faces challenges due to extensive wetland conditions. Floating cultivation systems offer a potential alternative for optimizing wetland utilization. This study aimed to evaluate the adaptability and performance of several shallot varieties under floating cultivation with different rates of chicken manure application. Plant analysis was carried out at the Plant Physiology Laboratory, and the experiment was carried out from June to August 2024 at the Embung (research reservoir) and Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. A randomized block design with two factors and three replications was applied. The first factor consisted of four shallot varieties (Tajuk, Bauji, Batu Ijo, and Bima Brebes), while the second factor involved chicken manure rates of 0, 10, 20, and 30 t ha⁻¹. Data were analyzed using RStudio and presented in tables and figures. The results showed that the Bauji variety exhibited superior growth and yield compared to the other varieties. Increasing chicken manure application up to 20 t ha⁻¹ significantly improved shallot growth and productivity. It can be concluded that the Bauji variety, combined with 10 t ha⁻¹ chicken manure, is suitable for cultivation using a floating system in tropical wetlands.

Abstract

Tidal lands have considerable potential for sugarcane expansion but are constrained by low phosphorus availability, soil acidity, and low productivity under conventional systems. Despite advances in water-saturated cultivation and the use of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), their combined effects with phosphate fertilization in sugarcane–soybean intercropping systems remain insufficiently understood. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of AMF inoculation and phosphate fertilizer rates, as well as their interaction, on crop productivity and land use efficiency. A field experiment was conducted on tidal land in Banyuasin, South Sumatra, using a randomized complete block design with two factors and three replications. The treatments consisted of AMF inoculation (without and with local AMF derived from maize) and phosphate fertilizer rates (0, 36, 72, and 108 kg ha⁻¹ P₂O₅) under a 4-month water-saturated cultivation system. Productivity and land equivalent ratio (LER) were used as key indicators. The results showed that the interaction between AMF inoculation and phosphate fertilizer rates was not significant for sugarcane productivity. However, AMF inoculation significantly increased the productivity of both sugarcane and soybean in intercropping and monoculture systems. In contrast, phosphate fertilizer rates did not significantly affect land use efficiency. The intercropping system consistently produced LER values greater than 1 (1.55–1.73), indicating higher land-use efficiency than monoculture systems. These findings demonstrate that AMF inoculation plays a more important role than phosphate fertilization in improving crop productivity under water-saturated tidal conditions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Corporate Governance on Fraudulent Financial Statements with the mediating role of Islamic Social Responsibility (ISR). The study was conducted using a sample of companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) 70, which includes company data for the period 2019–2022. The analysis method used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the relationship between variables. The results of the study indicate that Corporate Governance has a significant positive effect on Islamic Social Responsibility, indicating that companies with good governance are more likely to carry out sharia-based social programs and transparency in ISR reporting. Corporate Governance has a significant negative effect on Fraudulent Financial Statements, indicating that formal governance mechanisms such as the board of commissioners, board of directors and board committees are effective in suppressing the practice of financial statement manipulation. Islamic Social Responsibility has a significant negative effect on Fraudulent Financial Statements, which confirms that Islamic ethical values ​​implemented through ISR can reduce management incentives to commit fraud. Islamic Social Responsibility partially mediates the relationship between Corporate Governance and Fraudulent Financial Statements. The policy implications of this study are the need for synergy between strengthening formal corporate governance mechanisms and increasing Islamic social responsibility disclosures to create a transparent, accountable and ethical corporate culture. For regulators and practitioners in the sharia industry, especially JII70 companies, the results of this study can be used as a reference in designing more comprehensive governance and ISR guidelines.

Abstract

Seagrass ecosystems are major blue carbon reservoirs that play an important role in climate change mitigation, yet their capacity is increasingly threatened by anthropogenic pressures in tropical coastal areas such as Banyak Islands, Aceh Singkil. This study aimed to analyse organic carbon (Corg) content and estimate the carbon storage potential of seagrass ecosystems in this region. Field data were collected using line transect and quadrat methods in intertidal and subtidal zones to assess seagrass cover and species composition, while organic carbon in biomass and sediments was analysed using the Loss on Ignition (LOI) method. The results showed significant spatial variation in carbon storage. The highest biomass carbon was recorded at Rago-rago Island, dominated by Thalassia hemprichii (20.26% cover), whereas the highest sediment organic carbon was found at Balai Island, dominated by Cymodocea rotundata (1.37% cover). Sediments were identified as the primary carbon reservoir (4.15 Mg Corg ha⁻¹), while biomass contributed a smaller proportion (0.71 Mg Corg ha⁻¹). These differences are influenced by species morphology, sediment characteristics, and hydrodynamic conditions. This study highlights the dominant role of sediments in seagrass carbon storage and the importance of ecosystem structure in regulating carbon sequestration. The findings provide quantitative evidence to support blue carbon–based conservation strategies and ecosystem-based coastal management for climate change mitigation in western Indonesia.

Abstract

Forage availability is a key determinant of ruminant livestock productivity, particularly in tropical regions where seasonal variability often limits consistent feed supply. Elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum) is widely cultivated due to its high biomass yield, adaptability, and ease of cultivation. However, its utilization as fresh forage is constrained by high moisture content, rapid nutrient deterioration, and seasonal availability. This riview is combinating research and secondary date.     This research was conducted in March - October 2025, in Sleman Regency, Indonesia. The aim of this study was to compare the physical quality of elephant grass silage with Aspergillus niger and Lactobacillus plantae additives.  Experienced panelists were selected to observe the physical quality of both types of silage.  Silage technology offers an effective solution by preserving forage through anaerobic fermentation mediated by lactic acid bacteria, enabling long-term storage and year-round feed availability. Despite its potential, elephant grass presents challenges as a silage material, notably low water-soluble carbohydrate content and high fiber levels, which can impede optimal fermentation. The incorporation of feed additives, such as carbohydrate sources, microbial inoculants, and other natural or chemical additives, is therefore necessary to enhance fermentation quality. These additives promote rapid pH decline, increase lactic acid production, inhibit spoilage microorganisms, and preserve nutritional value. The development of elephant grass silage technology using appropriate feed additives is essential to produce high-quality silage, support sustainable livestock production, and strengthen national feed security.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital industries and the persistent unemployment among ICT graduates indicate a competency gap between vocational education outcomes and industry demands. This study aims to develop and validate a Cloud-Based Technopreneurship Learning Model (Tech2C) to strengthen digital entrepreneurial competencies in ICT vocational education. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach adapted from Borg and Gall, integrating design-based research principles. The development process involved expert validation (n=4), a limited field trial (25 students; 4 lecturers), and an expanded field trial (60 students; 6 lecturers). Data were collected using validation sheets, perception questionnaires, achievement tests, and Focus Group Discussions. Descriptive statistics and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) were used for analysis. The results show that the Tech2C model is highly valid (89%), highly practical (instructional quality 92%; product display 95%), and effective (82% overall effectiveness). The greatest improvement was observed in the affective domain (84%), followed by the psychomotor (82%) and cognitive (80%) domains. PLS-SEM analysis confirms that instructional quality, material quality, interactivity, flexibility, and evaluation quality significantly influence learning outcomes. The novelty of this research lies in the systematic integration of Project-Based Technopreneurship, Design Thinking processes, and cloud computing infrastructure into a unified vocational learning model that serves as both a learning ecosystem and a digital product deployment environment. The implication of this study is the provision of an empirically validated instructional framework that vocational higher education institutions can adopt to foster digital job creators rather than job seekers.

Abstract

The increasing complexity of food security challenges requires vocational education to equip students with the ability to integrate mathematical reasoning and sustainability-oriented decision-making. However, previous studies have generally examined Mathematical Literacy and Food Security Literacy as separate competencies, resulting in a limited understanding of how these literacies interact within vocational learning contexts. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Problem-Based Instruction integrated with the STEAM-H (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, Mathematics, and Health) framework in enhancing vocational students’ Mathematical Literacy, Food Security Literacy, and Critical Orientation. A convergent mixed-methods design was employed involving 24 eleventh-grade agribusiness vocational students. Quantitative data were collected through pretest–posttest holistic evaluation tests, while qualitative data were obtained concurrently through classroom observations and semi-structured interviews. The results revealed significant improvements in Mathematical Literacy and Food Security Literacy, accompanied by qualitative evidence indicating a shift from procedural computation toward evidence-based and sustainability-oriented decision-making. Three dimensions of Critical Orientation emerged from the qualitative findings, namely Cognitive Transition, Critical Disposition, and Comprehensive Critical Synthesis. The novelty of this study lies in conceptualizing Critical Orientation as a bridging construct connecting Mathematical Literacy and Food Security Literacy within a Problem-Based STEAM-H learning environment. These findings contribute to interdisciplinary literacy theory and provide practical implications for designing vocational curricula that promote higher-order thinking, sustainability awareness, and workforce readiness.
