Abstract

This study examines the harmonization of the concept of love with facility quality and Sapta Pesona to enhance tourist satisfaction at Kerta Gosa Tourist Attraction, Klungkung, Bali. Utilizing a quantitative approach and Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis, data from 93 tourists were assessed. The results reveal that the sense of love towards the tourist attraction significantly strengthens the positive influence of facility quality on tourist satisfaction (P-Values 0.001; original sample 0.282). In contrast, the sense of love does not significantly affect the relationship between Sapta Pesona and tourist satisfaction (P-Values 0.943). These findings indicate that, in the context of harmonization, physical facility quality combined with an emotional connection (sense of love) has a greater impact on tourist satisfaction than Sapta Pesona alone. Further research is needed to clarify how these factors can be optimally integrated to support sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

The integration of digital technology in Islamic higher education remains fragmented and often overlooks the role of religiosity in shaping students’ critical literacy. Existing studies tend to examine artificial intelligence, gamification, and religiosity separately without providing an integrated pedagogical framework. This study aims to develop and validate the AIGaR model by integrating artificial intelligence, gamification, and religiosity to enhance students’ critical literacy. This study employed a design-based research approach involving iterative phases of design, implementation, and evaluation. The participants were students in Islamic higher education institutions. Data were collected using validated instruments measuring critical literacy, learning engagement, and religiosity. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling to examine relationships among variables and evaluate the effectiveness of the model. The results indicate that the AIGaR model significantly improves students’ critical literacy, particularly in analytical and evaluative skills. Gamification enhances student engagement, while religiosity strengthens reflective and ethical dimensions. The model demonstrates strong validity and reliability across implementation cycles. This study offers a novel integrative AIGaR model that systematically combines artificial intelligence, gamification, and religiosity within a unified learning framework. The findings provide practical implications for educators and curriculum designers to develop technology-enhanced learning that is pedagogically effective, ethically grounded, and contextually relevant in Islamic higher education. However, this study is limited to a specific context and sample size. Future research should examine the model across broader settings and populations.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of digital access and online training on teaching motivation, with technology self-efficacy as a mediating variable. Grounded in Social Cognitive Theory, the study integrates structural and psychological factors to explain teacher motivation in digital learning contexts. A quantitative explanatory survey was conducted involving 300 senior high school teachers in Tangerang Regency, Indonesia, selected using proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with 5,000 bootstrap resamples. The findings indicate that digital access (β = 0.491, p < 0.001) and online training (β = 0.523, p < 0.001) significantly influence technology self-efficacy. Technology self-efficacy, in turn, significantly affects teaching motivation (β = 0.251, p < 0.001). However, the direct effects of digital access (β = 0.131, p = 0.057) and online training (β = 0.106, p = 0.081) on teaching motivation are not significant. Mediation analysis reveals that technology self-efficacy fully mediates these relationships. This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating that structural factors alone are insufficient to enhance teacher motivation unless internalized through efficacy beliefs. The findings provide practical implications for designing teacher development programs that prioritize mastery-based training and confidence-building strategies.

Abstract

This study examines how operational rework appears in internal access management in a small technology consulting firm in Jakarta, where work processes are still loosely organized. Using a mixed methods approach, the study reviewed 97 operational cases across six months and combined them with interviews with people directly involved in handling access issues. The analysis focused on access requests, password resets or account recovery, and escalations or handoffs, not general service complaints. The results show that the biggest burden comes less from the technical fix itself and more from three transition points: moving cases from WhatsApp to formal channels (41%), waiting for approval (48%), and handing cases to another person in charge (37%). Access requests faced the strongest approval barriers, while escalations and handoffs created the most repeated clarification, case transfers, and cases returning after they seemed finished. The interviews also show that WhatsApp often works as a shadow workflow: fast at the start, messy later when the initial context is not fully recorded, approvals depend on certain intermediaries, or a case looks closed even though the solution is only temporary. The novelty of this study lies in its practical view of rework through three layers, namely entry friction, processing friction, and closure distortion, along with a lightweight diagnostic that small companies can use to spot process waste without needing a complex evaluation system.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a product distribution schedule that meets customer demand in a timely manner while optimizing the company’s total distribution costs. This research employs a quantitative descriptive approach using a case study design at PT Tom Burger Group, a fast-food company specializing in burger buns. Data were collected through direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and company documentation, including demand and inventory data over a 10-day period. The Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) method was applied as the main analytical tool, involving demand forecasting, inventory analysis, and distribution scheduling calculations to determine optimal delivery plans and total distribution costs. The results indicate that the implementation of DRP improves the efficiency of distribution scheduling and reduces unnecessary distribution costs. Furthermore, improved planning contributes to increased customer satisfaction by ensuring timely product availability in accordance with market demand. Based on the DRP calculations, Tawar bread has the lowest total distribution cost, with 37 deliveries per year and a total cost of IDR 4,015,240. Similarly, Mini Burger, Premium Burger, and Burger bread also require 37 deliveries annually but result in different total costs due to variations in holding costs. In contrast, Jhon bread has the highest frequency of deliveries, with 111 deliveries per year and a total cost of IDR 17,804,400. The findings highlight the importance of structured, data-driven distribution planning in improving operational performance. This study is expected to support managerial decision-making in product distribution and contribute to the development of knowledge in industrial engineering.

Abstract

This study aims to test the use of beef fat as a raw material in the manufacture of ethyl ester nitrate, which can be used as an additive to increase the cetane number in diesel oil. In this case, beef fat is converted into biodiesel ethyl ester first through a transesterification reaction process with a mole ratio of beef fat and ethanol of 1: 13 and then converted again into ethyl ester nitrate through a nitration reaction using a homogeneous catalyst of Sulfuric Acid and Nitric Acid reagent. The mole ratio in the nitration reaction between ethyl ester and nitric acid is 1: 1. The ethyl ester nitrate product obtained is then mixed into diesel oil in several concentrations, namely 0.5%; 1% 1.5% and 2%. Then, performance testing is carried out on a diesel engine. The results of the analysis with FTIR show that ethyl ester nitrate has been successfully synthesized from biodiesel ethyl ester. Through performance testing on diesel engines with parameters of engine power (Qtot, kWatt), braking power (BHP, kWatt), fuel consumption (FC, kg/h), specific fuel consumption (SFC, kg/kWh), mean effective pressure (MEP, kPa), and thermal efficiency (ηth) and exhaust emission measurements.

Abstract

Global educational practitioners and policymakers consider student learning outcomes as a pressing concern. In this regard, the joint activities of the school, the parents, and the educators are highly important to the student’s academic success. This research aims to investigates the simultaneous effects of parental involvement, school climate, and teacher morale on student learning achievement. For this purpose, a quantitative method was applied through a survey research design. Out of 10 suburban elementary schools in Buleleng District, a sample of 219 fifth graders were estahlished. The instruments related to parental support, school environment, and teacher’s morale were used in three different questionnaires, whereas the information about student learning achievement was acquired through their academic transcripts. The detailed obtained data were analyzed using inferential statistical methods with the SPSS version 21 software program. The result has shown that parental support, school environment, and teacher morale simultaneously affect the student’s learning achievement. This finding underscores that a child’s performance depends on integrating different factors. Creating and maintaining collaborative networks is essential for driving change in educational settings. This collaboration plays a vital role in supporting all aspects of a child’s development—cognitive, emotional, and social. At the outset, parents provide valuable insights into their child’s strengths, challenges, and learning preferences. This information enables teachers to adapt their teaching strategies to better suit each child’s unique needs, resulting in a more effective and personalized learning experience.

Abstract

The increasing popularity of QR code mobile payment systems highlights their convenience and efficiency in facilitating contactless transactions. These systems enable consumers to make quick purchases and complete payments through their mobile devices. This study aims to examine the factors influencing user acceptance of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) payment system and to uncover the causal relationships between these factors. To achieve this, the study extends the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) by incorporating perceived security as a moderating variable. Data for this research was collected from 198 QRIS users in Indonesia via an online survey. The findings reveal that perceived security plays a significant moderating role by strengthening the relationships between perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and intention to adopt. These findings contribute to the refinement of TAM in digital payment contexts and provide practical insights for policymakers and fintech providers to strengthen security communication and system reliability in order to accelerate QR code payment method.

Abstract

Early numeracy provides a foundation for later mathematical learning, yet early instruction often falls short of developmental expectations. This exploratory sequential mixed-methods study examined how pre-service early childhood teachers' belief orientations and pedagogical-mathematical knowledge jointly relate to instructional practice in early numeracy. In Phase I, six pre-service teachers were purposively selected and studied through interviews, lesson-plan analysis, and teaching observation. Cross-case thematic analysis identified three dominant belief orientations, namely instrumentalist, Platonist, and problem-solving, together with hybrid profiles that revealed uneven links between symbolic and contextual approaches. In Phase II, 182 pre-service teachers from three public universities in East Java completed an expert-reviewed and empirically screened 90-item questionnaire measuring belief orientation, pedagogical-mathematical knowledge, and self-reported instructional practice. The integrated regression model explained 73.4% of the variance in instructional practice (R2 = 0.734, p < .001). Both belief orientation (β = 0.328, p < .001) and pedagogical-mathematical knowledge (β = 0.568, p < .001) significantly predicted practice, with pedagogical-mathematical knowledge emerging as the stronger predictor. The integrated findings suggest that beliefs shape pedagogical direction, whereas pedagogical-mathematical knowledge determines how effectively that direction can be enacted. The study contributes to the literature by showing that the belief-practice relationship in early numeracy is best understood as an enactment issue: beliefs orient teaching, but knowledge enables meaningful classroom implementation. The findings imply that teacher education should move beyond efforts to reshape beliefs alone and invest more systematically in topic-specific pedagogical knowledge of number concepts, representations, misconceptions, and scaffolding

Abstract

Financial technology transformation has positioned QRIS as a core component of the Indonesia’s digital payment infrastructure. This study aims to examine the determinants of QRIS usage among Generation Z in Indonesia by extending the UTAUT2 framework. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of Personal Innovativeness to capture internal psychological dimensions in the adoption of a mature national payment system among digital-native users. Quantitative data were collected from 261 Generation Z respondents through questionnaires and analyzed using the SEM-PLS method to evaluate both measurement and structural models. The findings show that Social Influence, Habit, and Personal Innovativeness significantly predict Behavioral Intention. In contrast, utilitarian constructs (Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Hedonic Motivation, Price Value) are not significant. Additionally, Facilitating Conditions exhibit a significantly negative effect, suggesting that reliance on technical infrastructure is not perceived as a motivating factor. These findings indicate that social and habitual factors play a more prominent role than utilitarian considerations in shaping QRIS usage intention. Functional aspects are increasingly perceived as baseline expectations, while adoption is more strongly influenced by established usage patterns and individual innovativeness. This study suggests that policymakers and service providers should shift their strategic focus from functional promotion toward socially embedded and community-based approaches to strengthen user engagement and sustained adoption.
