Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to provide training in preparing simple bookkeeping for Mengehah Micro Small Enterprises (MSMEs) at Bringharjo Market. This service partner involves 5 MSME players who have businesses on the left side of the Beingharjo market. The activities will be carried out on 18 September, 7, 15 October and 28 October 2023. Activities are carried out by visiting MSME partners one by one. The results of this service show that there are still many MSME players who do not know how to prepare simple bookkeeping. Therefore, the service provides assistance in preparing simple bookkeeping to make it easier to record financial reports and for the sustainability of the business of MSMEs at Bringharjo Market.

Abstract

Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are economic activities whose business scope is still in the small category and is usually only managed by individuals. PT Arrasyid Trio Konsultindo is the subject of this activity which acts as a financial and management consultant. The location of the implementation of mentoring activities is in 2 (two) places, namely the client PT Arrasyid Trio Konsultindo's office in Madiun, East Java and at the official office which is located at Perum Zada Regency 1, Block 11, RT 03 / RW 09, Bulakan, Sukoharjo, Central Java. CV. Argo Mulyo Sejahtera is the client who uses financial statement preparation assistance services. There are the problem encountered by CV. Argo Mulyo Sejahtera is the unavailability of financial reports that are systematic and aligns with financial accounting standard MSMEs (SAK EMKM). The purpose of the mentoring activities carried out by PT Arrasyid to CV. Argo Mulyo Sejahtera is to present more valid, effective and efficient financial statements. The methods used are observation and preparation, providing workshops on the importance of financial reports and Accurate Software, as well as monitoring and mentoring MSMEs. The results of the Financial Report Preparation Assistance are that MSME actors can find out how to prepare financial reports using Accurate software easily and efficiently.

Abstract

The community service activities carried out were the provision of basic food assistance, treatment to community members and trauma healing for children of Cianjur earthquake victims. This activity is a form of concern for the STIE Kalpataru academic community for the disaster that occurred, namely the earthquake in Cianjur in November 2022. This activity involved all elements of both leaders, lecturers, staff and students on the STIE Kalpataru campus, both as donors and those who took direct action to the disaster site. It is hoped that the action carried out by the STIE Kalpataru academic community can slightly ease the burden on the affected community, and can restore their spiritual mentality to be able to rise again.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has driven major changes in business, with an increase in online activities such as working, studying and shopping. MSME players must adapt to this condition, utilizing digital marketing to market their products. The service team held outreach and training to increase MSMEs' understanding of the benefits of digital marketing, encouraging the use of social media in marketing. Observation, socialization and training methods are expected to increase participants' knowledge in using online media as a marketing tool, open wider market opportunities and increase business income. This activity aims to increase the digital literacy of MSMEs, overcome digital technology obstacles, and strengthen product marketing through digital marketing.

Abstract

Field Work Practice II is one of the mandatory courses for social welfare students in implementing the knowledge they have learned on a mezzo or macro scale. The author carried out this practicum II activity at the Yayasan Fondasi Hidup Indonesia which is located on Jalan Kenanga Raya No. 50, Medan Selayang. The author will carry out a mini project in one of the assisted communities of the Yayasan Fondasi Hidup Indonesia in Siguci Village regarding language politeness by applying 4 magic words and a total of 30 clients from grades 1-3 of elementary school. The author carried out a mini project at the mezzo intervention level using the intervention stages method group work in general. This mini project shows that polite language can shape good character through the application of the 4 magic words.

Abstract

Health and hygiene are two things that cannot be separated. Every individual must be able to maintain their own hygiene in order to avoid various diseases that can arise due to lack of hygiene. Personal hygiene is a self-care effort carried out to maintain health both physically and psychologically. This personal hygiene must be applied starting from children, they must begin to be taught about the importance of maintaining personal hygiene from an early age so that it becomes a habit that continues into adulthood. This activity was carried out as one of the mini projects of Field Work Practice 2 activities carried out at Yayasan Fondasi Hidup (FH Indonesia) for the C-Prof program (Proyek Perlindungan dan Kesejahteraan Anak). Abstract

One form of writing, namely popular scientific works. In writing popular scientific works, writers must follow predetermined guidelines, for example templates, word choice (diction), and suitability of themes. Popular scientific works have word choices that are easy to read and easy for various groups to understand. Therefore, an editing process is needed so that popular scientific works become good. The aim of editing is to avoid too many errors and add references if necessary. Editing is the author's final step before his writing is published. Editing is not an easy job. This was experienced by the students of SMA Negeri 1 Kedamean. For this reason, lecturers in the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya need to provide community service through training. Training implementation method with face-to-face presentations, modeling and simulation accompanied by assignments. The community service carried out can provide students with insight and skills in editing popular scientific papers.

Abstract

This community service initiative responds to issues related to listening skills and adopts a planned approach to achieve optimal learning goals. The focus of this intervention is on introducing an innovative method called "Savanna Melody," with the aim of enhancing children's listening abilities through a musical approach. The primary objective of the service activity is to make a positive contribution by increasing the interest and understanding of English among children. The implementation method involves interactive sessions that integrate audio and visual elements. The observed impacts include increased active participation and comprehension of the material, indicating the potential for fundamental changes in the English language learning approach within the context of the school.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Manajemen Rumah Sakit (SIMRS) merupakan langkah strategis dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pelayanan kesehatan. Sebelum adanya SIMRS, proses administrasi rumah sakit mengandalkan berkas fisik yang memerlukan ruang penyimpanan yang besar dan meningkatkan risiko kehilangan atau kerusakan berkas. Setelah adopsi SIMRS, proses pengerjaan dokumen, termasuk pengecekan dan pelaporan berkas pasien, pengelompokan berkas rekam medis, proses klaim, dan penyelesaian transaksi pembelian dan proyek, menjadi lebih cepat dan efisien. Hasil implementasi SIMRS menciptakan alur kerja yang terintegrasi, mengoptimalkan pelayanan kepada pasien, dan mengurangi risiko kesalahan administratif.

Abstract

This service is an initiative taken by the volunteers to educate the community, particularly the youth of Karang Taruna in the village of Mekar Buana in Karawang. The objective is to create awareness among the youth of Karang Taruna about religious diversity. The lectures and interviews are the primary methods of implementation. The activity was conducted successfully, and the results and discussions showed that the youth of the organization now have a better understanding of religious moderation. In conclusion, this service has helped to enlighten the youth about religious life, particularly the importance of religious moderation.
