Abstract

The Indonesian textile industry is one of the major economic pillars behind its contribution to the economy, the textile industry is also known as one of the largest contributors to environmental pollution. This study aims to determine the effect of the textile industry on environmental pollution in Indonesia. To show how the textile industry affects environmental pollution, three variables are used, namely labor, women, and per capita income. This study aims to analyze the effect of labor, women, and per capita income on environmental pollution in Indonesia both simultaneously and partially. The data in this study all use secondary data in the form of time series data for the period 1992-2022 obtained from the Indonesian Central Statistics Agency and the World Bank. The analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis using eviews. The results of the study show that the variables of labor, women and per capita income simultaneously affect environmental pollution in Indonesia. Partially, labor and per capita income do not affect environmental pollution in Indonesia, while women have a significant partial effect on environmental pollution in Indonesia. The results of this study have implications both theoretically and practically. Theoretically, these findings support the theory that women's participation in leadership or decision-making is often associated with more effective environmental policies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the management of the English course program at the BBC Stabat institution, to describe and interpret the factors that influence the management of the English course program at the BBC Stabat course institution. This study uses a qualitative research method. The subjects of this study were the head of the institution, the English coordinator, the English tutor, and one of the English course students at the BBC Stabat English course. Determination of subjects was carried out using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The techniques used in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The technique used to explain the validity of the data is by using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The management of the English course program carried out by the BBC Stabat English course goes through several stages, namely planning which is carried out by planning administration and learning programs; organizing by creating an organizational structure and division of labor; implementing an English course program through a staged test of ability tests to increase the level of the student's ability class; supervision through meetings and accountability reports and evaluating the program. (2) Supporting factors are: (a) Quality of teaching; (b) Flexibility in learning; (c) Strong management support; (d) Effective team communication. (3) Inhibiting factors that affect management are disruption of technological infrastructure and differences in student characteristics.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran terhadap keterampilan kalobarasi peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis Pre-Eksperimental. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas X Macca di SMAN 4 Parepare yang terdiri dari 7 Rombongan belajar. Pengambilan sampel diambil dengan teknik Random sampling yang diambil dari siswa kelas X Macca di SMAN 4 Parepare. Analisis data yang digunakan untuk melihat keterampilan kolaborasi menggunakan analisis statistic deskriptif dan analisis statistic inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik kelas X Macca SMA Negeri 4 Parepare. Hal ini ditunjukkan pengukuran dengan analisis dekriptif keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik yaitu rata-rata persentase keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran 54,68 (Cukup) dan Rata rata persentase setelah menggunaan model pembelajaran NHT 82, 69 (Sangat Baik). Hasil analisis data pengukuran statiska infersial di peroleh  maka  diterima dan  ditolak yang artinya ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik kelas X Macca SMA Negeri 4 Parepare.

Abstract

The increasing number of DM sufferers is caused by hereditary/genetic factors, obesity, lifestyle changes, irregular eating patterns, drugs that affect blood glucose, lack of physical activity, pregnancy, smokers, and stress. Type II DM is a type that is often found in 85-90% of the total DM sufferers found in the elderly group. DM is a world health problem where the incidence, complications and mortality rates are higher in the elderly group than in the younger group. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between diet, physical activity and stress levels with blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at Sultan Suriansyah Hospital, Banjarmasin. This research design uses a cross sectional method. The statistical tests used are the Spearman rank test and the multiple logistic regression test. The number of samples taken was 92 respondents. The research results showed that there was a relationship between diet, physical activity and stress levels with blood glucose levels in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients (p 0.05) and the factor most related to blood glucose levels was dietary factors with an odds ratio of 9.250. Nurses need to improve health services in providing information that is easily understood by patients and their families directly or using reading media regarding Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Abstract

One important variable used to measure performance in structure-behavior-performance analysis is profit (Price Cost Margin/PCM). The more concentrated an industry is (higher CR4), the higher the profits of existing firms will be. This is because industry concentration is essentially a massive drag. As a result, corporate profits will increase. This study aims to analyze and find out how the market structure and performance of the textile industry and products (TPT) through the Structure-Conduct-Performance approach. The data collection method in this research is descriptive quantitative method with panel data regression analysis. The objects observed in this study are Market Share (MS), Concentration Ratio (CR4), Minimum Efficiency Scale (MES), Capital Labor Ratio (CLR), Internal Efficiency (XEF) and Price Cost Margin (PCM). Based on the results of the analysis obtained that the variable that has the greatest and significant influence in improving performance is efficiency (XEF).

Abstract

This research discusses Peer-to-Peer Lending  in Indonesia, with a particular focus on the customer protection. With the rapid digitalization of financial technology in Indonesia, P2P lending platforms gain popularity among the society. However, this raises the concern on how effective Indonesia's regulation is on supervising the industry and protecting its users. A  comprehensive  analysis on the current regulatory framework established by the Financial Security Authority (OJK) and Indonesian Fintech Lending Association (AFPI). Identifying the gaps and issues that are risking the protection of the customers.

Abstract

The MSME sector plays an important role in the development of the national and regional economy. MSMEs can increase income, reduce unemployment rates in villages and can increase entrepreneurial experience. Mekarsari Village has a variety of MSMEs which have great potential to improve community welfare. However, the problem faced by MSME in Mekarsari Village is a lack of knowledge about creating packaging designs, labels and registering trademarks to protect intellectual property rights. The aim of this service is to provide assistance in creating and updating packaging and labels so that the products produced are more attractive and have a higher selling price, as well as providing knowledge about how to register trademarks so they can compete with competitors. The methods used in this service are direct observation, interviews and discussions and implementation. The results obtained from this service are the creation of understanding among MSME players in Mekarsari village about how to make packaging and labels so that the products produced are more innovative. This service also increases the legal awareness of the MSME community regarding the importance of registering trademarks and how to register these brands.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the strategy of the Public Relations Role of the Palu Pratama Tax Service Office (KPP) in increasing public awareness of paying taxes. To describe the effectiveness of the Public Relations Role of the Palu Pratama Tax Service Office (KPP) in increasing public awareness of paying taxes. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, the subjects of this research are seven people consisting of two public relations officers in the executive service section, five taxpayers from the general public. The research method for collecting data is through observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis was carried out using 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the research show that the strategies carried out by the Public Relations of the Pratama Palu Tax Service Office (KPP) in increasing public awareness of paying taxes are: 1) Operational strategy, carried out by the public relations of the Pratama Palu KPP, namely tax corners in four strategic locations in the city of Palu. 2.) Persuasive and educational strategy, namely the use of the sipabeta application to make it easier to manage property taxes. 3.) Collaboration strategy, KPP Pratama Palu public relations collaborates with the Regional Financial and Asset Processing Agency (BPKAD) of Palu city in socializing taxation. The effectiveness of the public relations role of KPP Pratama Palu in increasing public awareness of paying taxes: 1) As a communicator, conducting outreach with the public about the importance of paying taxes. 2) as an image maker, socialize the sipabeta system to make it easier for people to pay property taxes. 3) as a Conceptor, conveying information and educational activities to the community. 4) As a Problem Solver, plays a role in resolving problems in public communication, tax service complaints.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of digital marketing and service quality on customer loyalty at Uni Eti Cosmetics Store. Through a quantitative approach and case study, this study analyzes the relationship between the independent variables of digital marketing (X1) and service quality (X2) and the dependent variable of customer loyalty (Y). The results of the study indicate that digital marketing has a significant influence on customer loyalty, while service quality does not show a significant influence. However, simultaneously, digital marketing and service quality have a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty. These findings highlight the importance of an effective digital marketing strategy in attracting and retaining customers, as well as the important role of service quality in creating higher customer satisfaction. This study recommends that Uni Eti Cosmetics Store continue to improve its digital marketing strategy and pay attention to service quality to increase customer loyalty and achieve long-term success.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills in mathematics learning through a problem based learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach in class XI-3 students at SMAN Terpadu Madani Model in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection methods use observation, cognitive tests, learning results documents. Having a final performance indicator of 78% (28 out of 36 students) got the complete category, with pre-cycle details of 33% (12 out of 36 students) getting the high category, in the first cycle 53% (19 out of 36 students) got the high category, In the second cycle, 78% (28 of 36 students) got the high category. So it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach can improve students' critical thinking skills in mathematics lessons on polynomial material.
