Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) activities are an important part of higher education in Indonesia which integrates academic theory with direct practice in society. In its implementation in Rancakole Village, Arjasari District, Bandung Regency, UNINUS KKN group 36 students focused on developing the local economy through the MSME Festival. This festival was held as a response to the economic problems experienced by housewives in RW 20, who have the skills to process agricultural produce into food products but experience difficulties in marketing and capital. The approach applied in this activity includes participatory-based community empowerment and local potential. The results of this activity show an improvement in the community’s economy, increased creativity in product development, and the opening of wider market access. However, challenges such as limited capital and knowledge of digital technology are still obstacles that need to be overcome through long-term solutions, such as the formation of cooperatives and further training.

Abstract

Land in rural areas can be used by women who are members of the Women's Farming Group as a means of producing food from agricultural activities. The Women's Farmers Group in Salakan Hamlet, Bangunjiwo, uses empty land to plant various types of horticultural plants such as eggplant, kale, spinach and chilies. The harvest was deemed to lack high selling value so the land was replaced with ginger cultivation. Ginger is a type of rhizome that is beneficial for human health so it can be processed into processed products ready for consumption. The service team strives to provide knowledge about processing ginger into products so that they can have high economic value. The education was carried out by explaining how to process ginger-based products such as candied ginger, instant ginger powder and ginger syrup. With this outreach, it is hoped that it will be able to equip the Salakan Gardenia Flower Farming Women's Group, Bangunjiwo in utilizing ginger into products that can be further produced for sale on the market so as to improve the welfare of the Women Farming Group.

The research subjects were preceptors in the OK, IGD, RR and ICU rooms at Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru city hospitals. This research uses an instrument in the form of a readiness questionnaire to guide preceptors. The results showed that before training, 15 preceptors (44.1%) had sufficient readiness to guide the writing of nursing care. After training, 33 preceptors (97.1%) showed good readiness. The Wilcoxon test produces a value of p = 0.000 (p 0.05), which shows a significant effect of preceptorship training on preceptor readiness in guiding. Preceptorship training is effective in increasing the competency of clinical preceptors in guiding nursing care, so this training is important to carry out on an ongoing basis to improve the quality of nursing education and practice.
