Abstract

Rahmah El Yunusiyah is an important figure in Islamic education in Indonesia, especially for women. Through the establishment of Diniyyah Putri, she introduced the concept of education that combines religious and general knowledge, emphasizing equal educational rights between men and women. This research aims to examine in depth Rahmah El Yunusiyah's role in developing women's education. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using library research. All data used comes from various written sources such as books, documents, and manuscripts. The results showed that Rahmah El Yunusiyah's role in education was enormous. By combining religious and general education, Rahmah succeeded in creating a complete and inclusive education system for women. The educational institution she founded, Diniyyah Putri, has had a major impact in increasing women's access to formal education. In conclusion, Rahmah el Yunusiyah has made major changes in education, especially for women. Her contributions created a strong foundation for women's education in Indonesia. By combining religious and general education, and fighting for equal educational rights between men and women, Rahmah succeeded in having a positive impact on educators today to continue to support equitable and thriving education for all.

Abstract

This study investigates the marketing management approach to school branding in the competitive education era. The main objective is to analyze effective school branding strategies to improve the competitativeness of educational institutions. The methodology used is a quantitative method (library research) that includes a comprehensive analysis of current literature on educational marketing management and school branding. The main findings show that the implementation of branding strategies can enhance the school’s image, attract more talented students, and improve the institution’s competitiveness. It also shows the importance of integrating educational values into marketing strategies to maintain the integrity of the institution. Other recommendations include developing a comprehensive branding model, improving employee competencies in marketing management and continuously evaluating the effectiveness of branding strategy. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the important role of branding in navigating an increasingly comprehensive educational environment.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between pedagogical competence and social competence of teachers at the Ubay bin Ka'ab Salo Islamic Boarding School. The method used in this research is interviews with sources and field observations to obtain comprehensive data. The research results show that good pedagogical competence, balanced with high social competence, contributes significantly to the formation of students' character and learning motivation. Apart from that, this research reveals that positive interactions between teachers and students can strengthen the learning process. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide valuable insights for the development of teacher professionalism in Islamic boarding school environments, as well as being a source of inspiration for further research in the field of education.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the Reading Corner program as part of the School Literacy Movement to improve students' reading abilities. Reading literacy activity index data on a national scale, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province occupies 31st position out of 34 provinces in Indonesia. These results are answered by the phenomenon in the field, there are still elementary school students who are not yet fluent in reading. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of reading corners to improve elementary school students' reading literacy SDK Mabhambawa kecamatan keotengah,kabupaten Nagekeo. Qualitative research uses observation, interviews, documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively. The research results show that the Reading Corner plays a positive role in increasing students' access to reading materials and creating an environment that supports literacy culture. However, several obstacles were also found, such as limited book collections and a lack of active participation from all school members. This research provides recommendations for developing a more effective Reading Corner program in supporting the improvement of students' reading abilities. The results of the study on the implementation of the reading corner showed that 73% of students read fluently,27% had difficulty. The implementation of the reading corner is successful but needs optimization.

Abstract

A classroom observation study at Xikou Bilingual Elementary School in Taiwan explored the instructional strategies applied in bilingual classes. The research findings highlight three key aspects of effective teaching in a bilingual classroom: the balanced use of Mandarin and English, the incorporation of media and games, and a persuasive student-centered approach. Observing the instructional strategies in bilingual classrooms offers insights into how teachers use certain approaches and media to support the students’ learning process. The primary data collection methods for this study are classroom observations and teacher brief interviews which provide rich, contextualized data about how bilingual education is practiced in the classroom. It was found that the teacher effectively balances both languages, facilitating language acquisition while maintaining clarity in instruction. Multimedia tools such as videos and interactive games are used to engage students, enhance understanding, and promote active participation in lessons. The teacher also adopts a persuasive and supportive teaching style, motivating students and fostering a positive classroom environment. Through the observation, it is recommended to emphasize the importance of end-of-lesson reflection sessions in enhancing student engagement and retention. By allowing students 3-5 minutes at the end of each lesson to reflect on key learnings, challenges, or interesting aspects, the teacher encourages self-awareness and deeper learning. This reflective practice, whether through individual journaling or group discussions, provides valuable insights for both teachers and students, ultimately improving the overall learning experience.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of teachers to overcome students' difficulties in learning mathematics in elementary school through a realistic mathematical approach. The method used is qualitative descriptive with the research subject of grade IV teachers. The results showed that the difficulties experienced by grade IV students in learning at MI At-tahzib were students' low thinking ability. Internal factors of students are students' readiness to learn mathematics, lack of interest in students in mathematics lessons, laziness in learning experienced by students. Factors from outside the students come from the school environment, community environment, and social students. The teacher's ability to overcome difficulties in learning mathematics. Among them is that teachers apply realistic mathematics education {PMR} in the learning process of students, provide motivation and rewards to students, then there is still a need for guidance from teachers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by one of the phenomena of the problem of Islamic education in Indonesia, namely the tendency for some of the younger generation of Muslims to now like to access content or reading that is less useful, resulting in some of them being mentally weak, lacking in morals, and who like to follow a hedonistic lifestyle (lifestyle). which focuses on seeking worldly pleasures and unlimited satisfaction) shows that Islamic religious character education in Indonesia has not succeeded in building an Islamic generation of Muslims. Umar bin Khattab's Biography Book by Prof. Dr. Ali Muhammad As-Shallabi is a historical biography book that has Islamic religious character values in it. The aim of this research is to identify the values of Islamic religious character education in the biography of Umar Bin Khattab by Prof. Dr. Ali Muhammad Ash-Shallabi. The type of research used in the research is literature study with data sources that include two types: primary data sources and secondary data, collected using documentation techniques and data analysis techniques using content analysis. The results of this study show that there are religious character education values in the biography of Umar bin Khattab by Prof. Dr. Ali Muhhammad Ash-Shallabi. The author found the values of religious character education in the biography of Umar bin Khattab by Prof. Dr. There are ten of Ali Muhammad Ash-Shallabi, among others: Obedient to Allah, Confident, Creative, Love of knowledge, and Honest. The religious character of being obedient to Allah in the biography of Umar Bin Khattab contains Umar's submissive and obedient attitude to Allah by trying to carry out His commands and staying away from His prohibitions; Umar bin Khattab's confident religious character in the book is shown by his courage in preaching and contributing ideas to the Muslim community, as well as not hesitating in doing something he believes he can do; Umar bin Khattab's creative religious character is demonstrated by Umar's creativity in presenting brilliant ideas regarding the benefit of the Muslims; The religious character of Umar bin Khattab's love of science is shown by his activities, which tend to be like attending science meetings, like discussing, like reading and writing; Umar bin Khattab's honest religious character in the book is shown by always saying and doing what he really is, saying what is right is right and saying what is wrong is wrong.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the history of the establishment of Persatuan Islam (PERSIS) and its contributions to Indonesian society. The study uses a narrative method with literature review to present the journey of this organization since its founding in 1923. PERSIS was founded by K.H. Zamzam and other figures such as Ahmad Hassan and Mohammad Natsir, who played significant roles in education and politics. As an organization focused on Islamic reform, PERSIS strives to return Islamic teachings to their original sources, the Qur'an and Hadith, and contributes to education and social welfare. The initial curriculum of PERSIS emphasized the integration of religious and general education, aiming to form cadres capable of spreading Islamic teachings. The organization successfully established many pesantren and educational institutions across Indonesia and played a role in the Islamic reform movement. PERSIS is also active in preaching and social activities, as well as engaging in contemporary Islamic discussions. This research concludes that PERSIS remains relevant and influential in the social and religious dynamics in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the parenting styles of millennial parents in educating Generation Alpha children in the digital transformation era. The raised issues include challenges faced by parents in utilizing technology and its impact on child development. Qualitative Approach with Literature Analysis. The results show that millennial parents tend to apply authoritative and democratic parenting styles while providing strict supervision of technology use to prevent gadget addiction. The conclusion emphasizes that appropriate parenting styles can facilitate positive child development in a digital environment. Recommendations for parents include prioritizing social interaction and educational values, as well as wisely utilizing technology.
