Abstract

Mancingan Rice Terrace holds potential as a community-based artificial tourist attraction that supports sustainable tourism through a Community-Based Tourism (CBT) approach. This study aims to evaluate the tourism system at Mancingan Rice Terrace, focusing on the role of local communities in management, the development of artificial attractions, and tourism's economic, social, and environmental impacts. A qualitative-descriptive approach was employed to analyze community involvement in destination development and their contribution to tourism sustainability. The findings reveal that artificial attractions, such as trekking paths, photo spots, and agricultural education programs, have enhanced the site’s appeal and boosted local economic growth. Active community participation has not only created jobs but also preserved environmental sustainability. However, challenges such as inadequate promotion and infrastructure remain obstacles to further tourism development in Mancingan Rice Terrace. Recommendations for strengthening promotion, community training, and infrastructure improvements are proposed to ensure more effective and sustainable tourism management. This research provides insights into the importance of community collaboration in developing sustainable artificial tourist attractions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development and analyze the criteria for an Open-ended-question-based assessment instrument within the Merdeka Curriculum, designed to measure the creative thinking skills of 4th-grade elementary school students. The research adopts a nine-step instrument development model: defining the instrument's purpose, determining the scope of material, developing item indicators, constructing the instrument items, conducting content validity, revising the instrument, pilot testing, analyzing the trial results, and assembling the final instrument. The content validity analysis using Aiken's V index, conducted by three validators, indicated that four assessment items had moderate validity and eight had high validity. Large-scale product testing produced the following results: (1) validity tests of 10 questions showed all questions were valid, (2) the instrument items were reliable with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.822, indicating very high reliability, (3) difficulty index analysis revealed eight items were of medium difficulty and two items were easy, and (4) discrimination index analysis showed two items were moderately good, six items were good, and two items were perfect. Thus, it can be concluded that the developed assessment instrument is suitable for use.

Abstract

SPMI is a systemic activity to guarantee the quality of higher education by each university autonomously or independently to control and improve the implementation of higher education in a planned and sustainable. AMI is a systematic and independent audit activity carried out internally by educational institutions carried out by LPM together with auditors, on units and study. This article aims to describe the implementation of SPMI in universities in Central and South Kalimantan. The subjects selected are members of the selected LPM Campus and then proceed to the management of the PGMI study program. The results of this research are that universities that have a superior title, such as Lambung Mangkurat University, already use an international standard quality assurance system. This is through LPM ULM which has been certified ISO 9001:2015 by SAI Global. UIN Antasari has started implementing the same thing. This is due to the certification of ISO 21001:2018 and ISO 9001:2015 by PT Decra. IAIN Palangka Raya still has not implemented this. Another finding is that the Internal Quality Assurance Activities of the PGMI Study in South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan have carried out monitoring and evaluation by GPM and carried out by AMI regularly and periodically. Then the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) at IAIN Palangka Raya is on a good track but needs further improvement. For example, this increase was added to SPME in the form of implementing ISO at IAIN Palangka Raya.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the improvement in the quality of higher education based on the Independent Campus Learning (MBKM) policy. One form of policy of the Minister of Education and Culture in improving quality is through the MBKM policy. This study is an idea presented based on literature reflection where data is collected through literature review, analyzed and presented in discussion. Improving the quality of human resources through improving the quality of education is an investment made by the government. The Independent Campus Learning Policy (MBKM) is a real effort made by the government to answer future challenges. There are four main MBKM programs, namely ease of opening new study programs, changes to the higher education accreditation system, ease of state universities becoming legal entity PTNs and the right to study three semester study programs outside. The concept of implementing MBKM is to create an autonomous and flexible learning process in higher education so as to create an innovative learning culture that suits student needs, and is able to encourage students to master various knowledge that is useful for entering the world of work, as well as providing opportunities for students to determine their major they will take.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' difficulties in solving PTT-based story problems with arithmetic operation material. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study used tests, observation, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 30 students of class V UPT SPF SD Inpres Tamamaung 4  Makassar. The results obtained from the semantic differential scale related to the level of difficulty of the problem showed a decrease in percentage from the time of pre-research observation and during follow-up results, which was 60% to 20%. The results of the student questionnaire related to the ease of solving the problem also showed an increase from the time of pre-research observations and follow-up results, namely that there were only 15 students increasing to 22 out of 30 students. The cause of students having difficulty in working on story problems is because they do not understand the instructions, do not know how to solve the story problems, and do not understand the concept of arithmetic operations well because they are rarely given exercises using PTT problems so they are not used to reasoning and critical thinking.
