Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how the influence exerted by Celebrity endorsements and brands Image on the intensity of repurchasing, through mediation by Product Quality at Brand Scarlett Indonesia. Currently, Celebrity Endorsers are considered more able to attract customers, especially at the age of teenagers and adults. This is due to the rise of social media platforms which are currently more loved by the public than print media or digital media such as radio and television. By conducting the PLS-SEM test on 100 teenagers who have known and or used Scarlett's products at least 1 time, it was found that product quality can mediate the influence of celebrity. Endorsement of Repurchase Intention , while the mediating role of Product Quality on Brand influence Image for Repurchase Intention not found. Celebrities Endorsement has no direct effect on Repurchase Intention , while Brand Image and Product Quality have a significant positive effect on Repurchase Intention .

Abstract

Factors that can affect the quality of sleep in pre-school-aged children are hospitalization anxiety, when experiencing anxiety, sympathetic nerves can increase so that it can interfere with the sleep process. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between hospitalization anxiety and sleep quality in pre-school aged children (3-6 years) at Mutiara Hati Gedeg Hospital, Mojokerto. The research method uses a correlation analytic design with a cross sectional study. The population of this research is pre-school age children as many as 40 respondents. The research sampling technique uses purposive sampling with the Lemeshow formula. The research was conducted on March 31, 2023 in the Children's Room of Mutiara Hati Hospital. The research instrument used the DASS questionnaire for anxiety and the PSQI questionnaire for sleep quality which had been modified by researchers with validity and reliability test results of 0.692 for hospitalization anxiety and 0.561 for sleep quality and Cronbach's Alpha 0.920 for hospitalization anxiety and 0.967 for sleep quality. The results of this study indicate that there is the most anxiety about hospitalization, namely moderate anxiety for 16 respondents (40%) and most pre-school age children experience moderate sleep quality as many as 18 respondents (45%). Spearman's rho statistical test results p value 0.002 <α 0.05, in the sense that there is a relationship between hospitalization anxiety and sleep quality. The benefits of accompanying parents, close family and siblings are that children are protected, feel comfortable and safe by providing positive support to children.

Abstract

In general, an injury is considered minor if it does not cause disease or interfere with daily activities. Minor wounds can also be small and fairly clean. Wounds that are not treated properly can cause slow wound healing and even infection. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of health education on wound care with changes in parental knowledge in the children with special needs community, Sidorejo, Kediri District. The research method used was a quasy experimental one group pre test post test. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire given twice to obtain knowledge data before and after education The research method used was a quasy experimental one group pre test post test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the majority of parents in the children with special needs community had sufficient knowledge of 21 respondents (84%) Both 2 respondents (8%) and 2 respondents lacking (8%). While the results of the analysis of the results of the study obtained ρ 0.000 so that it was concluded that there was an effect of knowledge before and after education on simple wound care in the children with special needs community community in Sidorejo, Kediri

Abstract

This paper presents the development process of a REST API for a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) focusing on employee referral management. The API was developed using the Express JS framework and Node.js, leveraging their powerful capabilities for efficient web application development. The HRIS serves as a centralized platform for managing employee referrals, tracking candidate progress, and optimizing talent acquisition. The article provides insights into the methodology, key features, and advantages of using the Express JS framework and Node.js for building such an HRIS. The results of the study indicate that the Express JS and Node.js frameworks have successfully developed a REST API for HRIS in the domain of employee referral management. This is evident from the black box testing results, which show valid outcomes for each tested request and response in every API endpoint.

Abstract

Introduction:The increasingly massive spread of the Covid 19 pandemic in the community and the existence of physical distancing rules, urged teachers to develop an effective learning model. Blended learning is the mixing of conventional (face-to-face) learning models with online learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the blended learning on the learning outcomes of community nursing practice. Method: The research design used the Pre-Experiment One Group Pretest-Post test. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, with respondents as many as 50 nursing students who met the inclusion criteria of the study. The learning outcomes research instrument used a knowledge questionnaire and practical skills observation. Data processing includes univariate analysis with percentages, and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Results: Learning outcomes before participating in community nursing practice were 40% very good and 40% good, while the learning outcomes after participating in community nursing practice were 60% very good. There was a significant increase in learning outcomes between before and after the application of blended learning, namely being very good as much as 50%. Blended learning is proven to be effective in improving the learning outcomes (Pv 0,000, CI 95%). Conclusions: This study supports feasibility blended learning strategies based on are able to produce an increase in the learning outcomes of nursing students. The blended learning approach is an effective alternative to conventional approaches in nursing education, especially at the Ners professional stage during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Abstract

In analyzing a song lyrics means aiming to understand and express the overall meaning of the lyrics of a song as a whole, because a song is not only for entertainment, but also expressing feeling, message, and character building. this study using qualitative methods about the object of research .The researcher emloys the Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) as the framework of the research. The type of CDA that has been used is based on the Van Dijk theory. The theory is formulated in three stages, which were text , socio cognition and context. The stage of text itself is divided into three, namely macrostructure,superstructure, and macrostructure. The step of research is begun by collecting all song lyrics by Iwan Fals from his song entitled “ Polisi dan Bajingan”. Further, the next step is choosing the song lyrics needed for research.but, in this research the writer find one level to be analyzed, that is macrostructure. One of figures song writer and singer who has composed and published some inspirited songs is Iwan Fals. He is a singer, musician, songwriter, and critic. His musical style is pop, rock, country, and folk pop and the lyrics he creates tell a lot about the dark times in the era of 1970 to 1980 in the political field. In his career he has created approximately 31 albums. Iwan Fals is included in the list of the immortals: 25 greatest Indonesian artists of all time by Rolling Stone Indonesia magazine. In his song, he photographed the social atmosphere of Indonesian life in the late 1970s until now the life of the world in general and life itself. For example the song "Letter To The People's Representatives, aunt Lisa, noon opposite the palace and many more.

Abstract

This research study aims to describe the improvement of reading comprehension skills of class VIII A students of SMPQ An-Nawawiy Mojokerto by using Collaborative Reading and Alternative Text strategies.The type of this research study was Classroom Action Research. The study subjects were students of class VIII A SMPQ An-Nawawiy Mojokerto, amounting to 34 students. This research was conducted in two cycles which in each cycle there were four components, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The object of this study was reading comprehension skills of students of class VIII A SMPQ An-Nawawiy Mojokerto. The technique of data collection included field notes, objects / observations, interviews, documentation, and tests. And the technique of data analysis was descriptive qualitative analysis technique. The results showed that the strategy of Collaborative Reading and Alternative Text can improve students reading comprehension skills of class VIII A SMPQ An-Nawawiy Mojokerto. The improvement of students’ reading comprehension skill was based on product quality and process quality. The quality improvement of the learning process can be seen from students that become more active, enthusiastic, and students were also always working with other friends while solving problems to be done in groups. Improved process ultimately has a positive impact on product quality improvement. The improvement of product quality learners were seen from student learning outcomes. Based on the results of pre-action testing conducted, students' reading comprehension ability obtained an average of 64. After being given action in cycle I, the average score of students reading comprehension ability become 68.88. It increases 4.10 points. Then in cycle II, the average score becomes 81.91. These results indicate that this research can be said to be successful because the average value of students' reading comprehension ability increases compared with pre-action values.

Abstract

English language proficiency is a critical skill for academic success, particularly for culturally and linguistically diverse students. This article aims to provide educators with effective strategies to assist these students in developing the literacy skills necessary for academic success. The problem is that English language learners (ELLs) have particular educational needs that require specialized teaching approaches. The purpose of this article is to provide educators with effective strategies to assist ELLs in developing literacy skills crucial for academic success. The Qualitative method used is a review of literature, including theories of language acquisition and learning, differences in social and academic language, and effective English language learning strategies employed by successful language learners. The participants of this study were Thirty Students in one of the senior high schools in Lombok Timur. The results of this review include six essential strategies for teaching ELLs, including cultivating relationships and being culturally responsive, teaching language skills across the curriculum, using real objects to illustrate concepts, role-playing or pantomiming, pointing to pictures, and employing total physical response.

Abstract

This journal explores the possibility of using graphic media to motivate junior high school students to learn English. Traditional methods of teaching English often fail to arouse interest and enthusiasm in students. Therefore, it is important to seek innovative and engaging ways to facilitate language learning. The purpose of this study was to investigate how incorporating graphic media such as cartoons, illustrations, and visual aids positively impacts student motivation, learning experience, and language skills. Research demonstrates the effectiveness of graphic media in promoting active participation, creativity, and a deeper understanding of English concepts. The results encourage educators to integrate graphic media into classroom practice, paving the way for a more dynamic and enjoyable learning environment.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to know the challenges that faced by EFL learner. To achieve this objective, descriptive research was implemented. Furthermore, the subject in this researcher was 24 EFL learners in Lombok Timur. Technique of data collection were questionnaire and interview. As a result of students’ responses, there are three challenges faced by EFL learners in Lombok Timur. They are lack of vocabulary (58,3%), lack of confidence (20,8%) and no partners to speak English with (20,8%).
