Abstract

Community empowerment aims to increase the ability and skills independently to develop and innovate, through basic local tour guide training activities as a community empowerment program that will help the people in Dusun Mendiro know the basics of tour guides which will later be used to improve the economy of the surrounding community. However, the basic training for local tour guides held by KKN students from the East Java "Veteran" National Development University invited academics from the tourism sector to become speakers in this training. Apart from that, there is also assistance from the Forestry Service Branch of the Nganjuk Working Area. From this training activity, it was concluded that the local tour guides in Mendiro Hamlet still lack a sense of trust when communicating and lack detailed knowledge about existing attractions. So that the interpretation and intonation skills possessed by local tour guides in Mendiro Hamlet still need to be considered and trained independently, through the basic material presented it is hoped that this will become a provision for preparation for local tour guides when guiding tourists. This study uses 3 stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. With a qualitative approach, it helps researchers find results that are in accordance with the conditions that occur in the field.

Abstract

Community Service is a form of the Tridharma of Higher Education. This PKM is proposed to carry out activities that are socialization of digital product marketing post Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 pandemic impact turnover decrease and limited consumers, cause restrictions on interactions between producers and consumers, especially in Putra Indonesia University (YPTK) Padang campus. Jl Aru RT 04 RW 09 in Lubuk Begalung has a significant culinary business development and near on the campus of UPI YPTK Padang. The pandemic situation had a major impact on the development of Culinary cause learning activities through online classes. If this happens continuously without anticipation, the culinary business will suffer losses. So there must a strategy for SME’s to survive in the face of new habits. The use of digital media is an alternative for SME’s to survive along pandemic. The aim of this community service is increasing the knowledge and skills of Culinary Entrepreneurs, so they can implement more effective and efficient digital marketing strategies. The service method is a training. The training stages are divided into 4 (four) stages, there are preparation stage, implementation stage, program evaluation stage and reporting stage. The expected results are to increase the knowledge, understanding, and skills of culinary entrepreneurs regarding how to determine and implement digital marketing strategies more effectively and efficiently for their culinary products.

Abstract

Community Service is a form of the Tridharma of Higher Education. This program is proposed to carry out activities that are socialized to cafe partners in the city of Padang. This community service is made with the aim of increasing the knowledge and skills of Cafe Owners in maximizing digital marketing that is more effective and efficient. The service method used is in the form of socialization. The training stages are divided into 4 (four) stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, the program evaluation stage, and the reporting stage. The benefits of this PKM program were felt by partners who were initially ignorant of technology, and after socializing the partners' knowledge increased about the importance of digital marketing for business development.

Abstract

Jarak Village is one of the villages in Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency. Jarak Village has the potential to become a Tourism Village because it has one of the aspects needed to become a Tourism Village namely the authenticity of its culture, customs, and natural tourism potentials. However, based on surveys and observations from researchers, Jarak Village still has problems or obstacles in developing it into a Tourism Village. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to plan strategies that can be applied to make the Jarak Village feasible to become a Tourism Village in Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency. In this study a qualitative descriptive method was used to get a complete picture of the village of the Distance. The data used is from primary and secondary data obtained through surveys, observations, interviews, documentation, as well as literature studies from previous related studies. The data that has been collected is processed and analyzed using a SWOT study to produce a strategic direction to develop the Distance Village into a Tourism Village. The results of this study are that there are several strategies and detailed descriptions that can be applied, namely in the form of competitive strategies, diversification strategies, overview strategies, and defensive strategies.

Abstract

Literacy and Numeracy are things that are not common in the world of education. Literacy and numeracy are needed when implementing the learning process in the classroom to increase students' insight in receiving learning. Therefore, as teachers must have innovation so that students can improve literacy and numeracy, for example by using interesting learning media as student insights. This article was created with the aim of improving students' literacy and numeracy by creating reading corners and counting mading in the classroom using qualitative research methods of classroom actions and case studies with data collection carried out through class observation and class AKM tests. The results obtained from the writing and implementation of this article achieved results with an average of 78 literacy competencies and 80 for numeracy competencies.

Abstract

SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (UMKM) play a crucial role in creating jobs, distributing income, and supporting economic growth. The mastery of information and communication technology provides opportunities for UMKM through social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram. Digital strength and effective branding strategies are essential for UMKM Barongan Wisanggeni Art Gallery to face technological advancements and meet the demands of sophisticated consumers. In the context of sustainable development, Kelompok KKNT 27 supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) of Entrepreneurship Village by empowering the local economy and creating a competitive environment for future generations. The objective of this initiative is to provide education on branding for entrepreneurs and enhance the target market through product branding. The target beneficiaries are the general public in Ngadirejo Village, Blitar City. The implementation of the SDGS of Entrepreneurship Village and digital branding is expected to achieve economic independence and support sustainable development. This activity represents a tangible step in supporting UMKM and the local economy towards inclusive development.

Abstract

The lack of knowledge of the local community in Losari Village, Ploso District, is one of the things that prompted writed to carry out this activity, namely by providing education on packaging and marketing of Jamu Gendong products. The method used is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) Method. This approach focuses on an inventory of assets in the community which are assumed to be very supportive of community empowerment activities. In order to develop the potential of local Jamu Gendong products, a problem-solving framework is implemented which includes three things. First, observations regarding production, packaging and marketing that are usually carried out by partners. Second, educating partners regarding good packaging methods. Third, Education to partners regarding digital-based marketing methods. Digital-based packaging and marketing education can be a new innovation for them to be applicable to society

Abstract

Rejoagung Village is an area located in the Ploso. There are many industries that still home-scale or micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This service activity collaborates with milk pie business actors. However, business actors experience several obstacles, namely related to marketing and packaging. So that the purpose of this community service activity is to provide training to strategy MSMEs in using social media as digital marketing to introduce products to a wider range of consumers. And also provide training to MSMEs in terms of packaging renewal. The method used in this activity is Assets Based Community Development (ABCD), which is an approach model in community development. The output resulting from this community service activity is that business actors identify and are skilled at marketing through social media as well as updating more attractive packaging.

Abstract

Jamu Gendong is a traditional herbal beverage that has become an integral part of Indonesia's cultural heritage and ancestral knowledge. This dedication aims to develop effective digital marketing and packaging design for Jamu Gendong products in the village of Rejoagung. The method used, known as Assets Based Community Development (ABCD), involves a collaborative approach to community development, engaging researchers, local communities, and Jamu Gendong business practitioners. The implementation of more appealing digital marketing and packaging design is expected to enhance the product's competitiveness, expand the market, and provide positive impacts on the economy and culture of Rejoagung Village. This dedication has yielded significant advancements for Jamu Gendong sellers in terms of packaging design and marketing strategies, thus enabling market expansion and boosting the success of the Jamu Gendong business in Rejoagung Village.

Abstract

Abstract The actual phenomenon in the field proves that the existence of the Kucur Aren Swimming Pool has not been well known by the wider community. Even though the Kucur Aren Swimming Pool is located in a strategic area, namely the Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency, which is famous for its beautiful tourism potential, it is not enough to attract tourists to come to the Kucur Aren Swimming Pool. This is caused by several factors, one of which is the lack of maintenance of governance and the lack of publication of the Kucur Aren Swimming Pool. Therefore, community service activities are focused on revitalization as well as empowerment to improve maintenance of the management of the Kucur Aren Swimming Pool and re-publication or rebranding of the Kucur Aren Swimming Pool. The implementative steps that have been taken include: (1) Exploring the root causes of the management of the Kucur Aren Swimming Pool tourism management through observation and interviews with managers; (2) Provide recommendations for maintenance and management of Kucur Aren Swimming Pool tourism to Kucur Aren Swimming Pool tourism managers; (3) Organizing an introduction to the Kucur Aren Swimming Pool tour to the community; (4) Carry out revitalization and cleaning of inappropriate tourist objects; (5) Submitting a Proposal containing a Master Plan to the Jombang District Youth, Sports and Tourism Office for the long-term sustainability of the Kucur Aren Swimming Pool tour.
