Abstract

Student learning motivation at V SDN 023 Pandau Jaya, Kampar Regency is still relatively low. The aim of thisresearch is to determine the effect of using audio-visual learning media on students' learning motivation in ClassV mathematics subjects at SDN 023 Pandau Jaya, Kampar Regency. The research method is quantitative with apopulation of fifth grade students with a sampling technique using purposive sampling. So the sample is 30students. Data was collected through a questionnaire and processed using hypothesis testing with the help ofSPSS Version 22. Based on the results of the analysis through hypothesis testing, namely the paired sample t testwith a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, it is stated that the working hypothesis (Ha) in this study is acceptedand the hypothesis (Ho) is declared rejected. The increase in the posttest questionnaire was 15,100 due to the useof audio-visual learning media

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine critical issues in elementary school children's learning. Several factors that could be the cause of not maximizing student achievement or enthusiasm for elementary school students' learning include: too abstract teaching materials,less interesting delivery by an educator, less active students, less optimal media used as teaching materials, or less precise models. learning.This research uses a qualitative approach. The results of the research show that elementary school children's learning includes: 1)Interactive and fun learning, effective learning is characterized by an ongoing teaching and learning process that is able to teach students and obtain satisfactory learning achievements 2) Linking material with everyday life, paying attention to student activities in learning that is able to train students to relate learning concepts to real life situations 3) Using interactive media technology, the low quality of educational facilities and infrastructure can be caused by various factors, such as hampered distribution of funds, misuse of school funds, poor maintenance of facilities and infrastructure,supervision of school officials who are indifferent to facilities and infrastructure, and other factors,4)providing rewards. Rewards in learning are that students will receive awards after learning well and following the rules given by the teacher and school.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the selection of educational program evaluation models. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research results show that the Scriven Model Scriven designed two evaluation models, namely: (1) Goal-Free Evaluation Approach, and (b) Formative and Summative model, 2) Contenance Evaluation Model (Stake Model). The program evaluation model introduced by Stake is known as the Countenance (overall) model. 3) Alkin Model. Limitations of the evaluation construct as a process of determining the area to be evaluated. 4) CSE-UCLA Evaluation Model. The steps of the CSE-UCLA model are divided into four stages, namely: needs assessment, program planning, formative evaluation, and summative evaluation. 5) Discrepancy Model. The steps in this gap model are: preparation of design, installation, process, d) Measuring the goal (product), e) comparison (program comparison), 6) Brinkerhoff et-al's model consists of: (1) fixed vs emergent evaluation design, (2) formative vs summative evaluation, and (3) experimental and quasi experimental design vs natural/unobtrusive inquiry.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the spiritual aqidah curriculum and the curriculum contained in the hadith. The research method used is literature study because the research data comes from hadith books, books, journals and research results of researchers and Islamic scholars. The conclusion is; Aqidah education is an approach to religious education, meaning that the teachings of a particular religion are used as a source of inspiration to develop pedagogical theories or concepts and form spiritual aqidah education in clearly explained hadiths, namely faith in Allah SWT, faith in the angels of Allah SWT, faith in the books Allah, belief in Allah's Messengers, belief in the hereafter, belief in good and bad destiny are from Allah SWT (qada' and qadar).

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the cognitive abilities of children aged 4–5 years through block play activities at Kober Bani Yahya in Serang City, Banten. The background of the study emphasizes the importance of the play-and-learn approach in early childhood development. The research adopted a two-cycle Classroom Action Research design involving 10 children in Group A. Each cycle comprised four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The results indicated a significant improvement in the children’s cognitive abilities. In the pre-cycle, the average cognitive ability ranged from 35–40% (Undeveloped category). Following the block play intervention, the average increased to 58–65% (Starting to Develop and Developing as Expected categories) in Cycle I. The highest improvement was recorded in Cycle II, where the average reached 83–90%, with most children categorized as Very Well Developed.These findings confirm that block play effectively enhances cognitive skills such as shape and size classification, color recognition, problem-solving, and symbolic reasoning. The study concludes that block-based learning is a concrete, enjoyable, and relevant approach to optimizing early childhood cognitive development

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi rencana metode yang digunakan guru untuk menggunakan media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah melalui penggunaan, metode penelitian Pustaka. Data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber, termasuk buku, jurnal, dan artikel ilmiah yang relevan dengan media pembelajaran. Hasil kajian penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penelitian strategi guru meliputi: 1) Perencanaan pembelajaran dengan memilih media visual sesuai dengan karakteristik materi siswa, 2) Menerapkan metode pembelajaran interaktif dengan melibatkan siswa dalam pembelajaran aktif, serta 3) Evaluasi efektivitas media melalui penilaian hasil belajar. Faktor pendukung meliputi kreaktivitas guru dan tersediannya media sederhana, sedangka bahwa media visual memiliki kapasitas untuk meningkatkan pemahaman faktor penghambat berupa keterbatasan fasilitas dan keterampilan teknologi. Kajian pustaka ini menegaskan bahwa media visual memiliki kapasitas untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, motivasi, dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The mathematics learning process requires students to develop strong problem-solving skills. However, at SMA Negeri 1 Kabun, these skills remain low due to teacher-centered learning and limited activities that foster independent thinking. This study aims to examine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the mathematical problem-solving skills of grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Kabun. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population included all grade X students in the 2025/2026 academic year. Samples were selected using a purposive sampling technique, with 34 students from class Xa as the experimental group and 32 students from class Xc as the control group. Research instruments consisted of validated problem-solving test sheets and learning tools. Data were collected through both test and non-test techniques, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The findings show significant differences in the average mathematical problem-solving abilities between students in the experimental and control groups after receiving different treatments. Results of the Independent Sample T-Test indicate a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, which is lower than α = 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Thus, the null hypothesis is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis is accepted. This suggests that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model has a positive effect on improving the mathematical problem-solving skills of grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Kabun

Abstract

The duties and functions of the Secretary of the Regional People's Representative Council of Kuantan Singingi Regency are to organize secretarial and financial administration, support the implementation of the duties and functions of the Regional People's Representative Council and improve the performance of the State Civil Apparatus, administrative development of the State Civil Apparatus and public welfare as well as administrative services. These main duties and functions must be carried out by the Secretary of the Regional People's Representative Council of Kuantan Singingi Regency in order to realize the organizational goals that have been outlined or determined so that an organization can be effective. The purpose of the study was to determine how the implementation of the main duties and functions of the Secretary of the Regional People's Representative Council of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The descriptive quantitative research method, using ranking analysis (summarizing scale). The results of the study showed that the main duties and functions of the Secretary of the Regional People's Representative Council of Kuantan Singingi Regency were quite good with a percentage of 3.37%.

Abstract

The process of learning mathematics includes an important aspect that students must master, namely the ability to understand mathematical concepts. The conceptual understanding ability of students at SMPN 1 Pasir Penyu is still relatively low. This problem arises because learning activities tend to be teacher-centered, and there are limited opportunities for students to engage in activities that enhance their mathematical problem-solving skills. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of Wordwall-based learning media on the understanding of mathematical concepts among seventh-grade students of SMPN 1 Pasir Penyu. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population consisted of all Grade VII students in the 2025/2026 academic year. The sample was selected through purposive sampling, consisting of one experimental class with 32 students and one control class with 32 students. The research instruments included a mathematical concept understanding test and validated learning tools. Data were collected using both test and non-test techniques and analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistical methods. These revealed a significant difference in the average scores of students’ conceptual understanding between the experimental and control classes after being given different treatments. Based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, the obtained significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) was 0.000, which is less than α = 0.05. This means that H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Wordwall-based learning media significantly improves students’ understanding of mathematical concepts in Grade VII of SMPN 1 Pasir Penyu.

Abstract

The conflict over the Bangkonol Landfill (TPA Bangkonol) in Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province, escalated during 2024–2025, involving local government, communities, and the media. This study analyzes the dynamics of public communication by focusing on community resistance, media framing, and the government’s crisis response. A qualitative case study was conducted through interviews, document analysis, and media review. Findings indicate that the absence of participatory communication triggered strong community resistance, while the media amplified the dispute by framing it as an environmental crisis and highlighting weak policy legitimacy. These dynamics align with agenda-setting and framing theories, which explain how media influence public opinion. The issue was further politicized by local political rivals, and digital platforms became arenas for mobilization, consistent with uses and gratifications theory. This shows that communication failure not only fueled resistance but also opened space for politicization and accelerated conflict escalation. The study recommends strengthening official communication channels, ensuring community involvement from the planning stage, and expediting the transition of the landfill to a sanitary system.
