Abstract

Learning vocabulary is a crucial stage in English learning at early age because it could improve children communication skill. In order to teach vocabulary, teachers need to apply a fun and friendly method that could improve young learners’ vocabulary acquisition. Thus, this activity used Total Physical Response to teach students English vocabulary about human emotion. Human emotion is an adjective that often in daily life. Bu using TPR, the students were able to express their emotion in a proper way and use it in everyday life. The implementation of TPR showed that the students are more familiar with positive emotion rather that negative emotion. The students were more expressive in the learning process and it improves their vocabulary through imitating and repetition.

Abstract

Pelatihan technopreneurship di era digital merupakan upaya strategis untuk meningkatkan kapasitas wirausaha lokal dalam memanfaatkan teknologi guna mendukung pengembangan usaha. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman dan keterampilan praktis kepada wirausaha lokal agar mampu mengoptimalkan teknologi digital, seperti pemasaran online, e-commerce, manajemen usaha berbasis aplikasi, dan inovasi produk di desa Rempung Kecamatan Pringgasela Lombok Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan wirausaha sebagai mitra aktif dalam seluruh tahapan, mulai dari identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, implementasi, hingga evaluasi dan refleksi. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan blended learning, mengombinasikan sesi tatap muka, pembelajaran daring, simulasi bisnis, serta pendampingan oleh mentor berpengalaman. Hasil yang diharapkan dari pelatihan ini meliputi peningkatan keterampilan digital, pertumbuhan bisnis melalui platform online, dan kemampuan wirausaha dalam menciptakan inovasi berbasis teknologi. Selain itu, pelatihan ini bertujuan membangun jejaring komunitas wirausaha digital yang mendukung kolaborasi dan berbagi pengetahuan di tingkat lokal. Program ini dirancang untuk membantu wirausaha lokal menghadapi tantangan transformasi digital, memperluas pasar, meningkatkan produktivitas, dan memperkuat daya saing di era global. Dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan berorientasi pada tindakan, pelatihan technopreneurship di era digital diharapkan menjadi katalisator bagi pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal yang berkelanjutan pada tahun 2024.

Abstract

Furniture business assistance in Alas Kandang Besuk Village aims to increase the competitiveness of local Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through various strategies and approaches. This mentoring program includes technical training in making furniture products, business management, digital marketing, and financial management. Apart from that, business networks were also strengthened between local furniture entrepreneurs and the wider market, both at regional and national levels The results of this assistance show an increase in furniture product quality, operational efficiency and better marketing capabilities among MSME players. In addition, there has been a significant increase in income and absorption of local labor. This assistance has also succeeded in encouraging product innovation and business diversification, which has contributed to increasing the competitiveness of furniture MSMEs in Alas Kandang Besuk Village.

Abstract

Pembuatan video promosi kerajinan rotan di Desa Selebung Rembige, Kota Mataram, adalah sebuah proyek kolaboratif yang menggabungkan potensi kerajinan lokal dan partisipasi aktif warga desa dalam produksi video pendek. Video ini bertujuan untuk mempromosikan kerajinan rotan berkualitas karya desa tersebut, menggambarkan sejarah dan budaya kerajinan rotan, serta melibatkan masyarakat lokal dalam proses produksi. Studi literatur memberikan kerangka teoritis yang mendukung produksi video ini, termasuk konsep partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal dan pentingnya promosi produk melalui media visual. Metode pelaksanan menggunakan pelatihan dan dokumentasi menguraikan tahapan produksi video secara rinci, dari studi pendahuluan hingga evaluasi pasca-penayangan. Perencanaan video ini menggunakan skenario melalui pelatihan kepada para pihak, perangkat desa, pelaku ekonomi kreatif, dan tokoh masyarakat. Hasil pelatihan dan dokumentasi menghasilkan video yang menggambarkan perjalanan pengrajin rotan lokal, mempromosikan potensi ekonomi lokal, dan memperkuat identitas Desa Selebung. Kesimpulannya adalah film dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat Desa Selebung untuk mempertahankan keterampilan membuat kerajinan rotan dan sebagai promosi wisata warisan budaya kerajinan rotan pada masyarakat global.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to train Makassari Langgam music artists in Taeng Village to be able to help them in editing videos, flyers, and promoting their works where previously one of the problems in Taeng Village was the reduction in cultural events that they could fill and they were also less recognized. To solve this problem, the team held a discussion with the village head and agreed to conduct video editing and social media training so that they could learn to edit videos and promote their work. The participants in this activity numbered 51 people consisting of groups of young and old artists. In addition to the resource persons providing material, there were also teams that accompanied participants in creating accounts, editing videos and posting works on group accounts and their respective accounts. Before they joined this program, they only used social media as a platform to exchange news, see information from celebrities and Indonesian news. Currently, they use social media not only for that because they can edit videos and make social media a platform that helps them brand their Langgam Group and can promote their work.

Abstract

Youth entrepreneurship development in Merauke requires synergy among various stakeholders, particularly between the State Treasury Office (KPPN) Merauke as a state financial management institution, and Musamus University as a higher education institution. This community service aims to identify effective collaboration patterns between the two institutions in building a sustainable youth entrepreneurship ecosystem. The method used is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving 10 KPPN Merauke employees and 5 Musamus University lecturers. The FGD resulted in three main collaborative programs: ANIM ISAI Digital Program for digital marketing training, SAMKAI Creative Hub for creative business incubation, and MSME financial mentoring program. The division of roles between KPPN as financial supervisor and Musamus University as technical advisor proved effective in designing programs that meet local needs. Key recommendations include establishing a joint coordination team, developing an integrated monitoring system, and preparing technical implementation guidelines. This program can potentially become a model for institutional collaboration in youth entrepreneurship development in the Papua region.

Abstract

One of the products processed by Nagari Aia Dingin is Dadiah. Dadiah is a traditional food of the Minangkabau tribe, a fermented buffalo milk product that requires development to be able to compete in the global era. The implementation method is carried out through the delivery of material and discussions using broadcasts that are easy to understand and interesting for activity participants. Results of PkM activities introducing Dadiah downstream products. This can be seen from the results of participants' knowledge of dadiah processing technology, 1.10 to 1.33 (don't know). After the PkM activities in developing traditional food, participants stated that they knew enough but still did not know much about the technology for processing Ampiang Dadiah Kriuk (2.00). All participants stated that at the beginning of the activity, the difficulty level of Dadiah-based processing was difficult (3.71), but after participating in the PkM activity, participants assessed that the technology for processing Dadiah downstream products was not difficult (1.48).

Abstract

Teenagers in this era of digitalization are increasingly behaving defiantly from existing rules and norms. It cannot be denied that increasingly sophisticated technology has a big influence on the problem of increasing juvenile delinquency in the era of digitalization. Various internal and external factors can trigger juvenile delinquency, especially the lack of existing knowledge and lack of support and relationships from both parents and teachers at school. Guidance from parents and the environment regarding juvenile delinquency can be an important role to increase awareness and provide insight to build good attitudes and not be easily influenced by juvenile delinquent behaviour. The objective of this activity is to educate students about the dangers of juvenile delinquency, raise awareness about its negative impacts, and equip them with the knowledge and skills to make better decisions in their daily lives. The method used in this activity is direct counselling to students at Rajapolah Middle School. The results and conclusions of this counselling are to provide insight and form a firm attitude and not easily fall into doing negative things to students at Tasikmalaya Middle School regarding preventing juvenile delinquent behaviour through understanding and knowledge regarding the bad impacts that can result from juvenile delinquent behaviour.

Abstract

Malen Woodycraft is an Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) that focuses on selling wood carvings. This MSME is located in a city that is famous for its handicrafts. The purpose of this community service is to solve the problem faced by Malen Woodycraft, namely the lack of production capacity in business development, which has so far still used manual tools. This causes a lack of efficiency and effectiveness in creating carving artwork. This activity uses the Participatory Action Research method with Social Return on Investment evaluation. The result of this service is the provision of production equipment assistance in the form of a Jigsaw Machine and a Compressor Machine with the Speed H&L 6188 Lakoni brand. With the provision of Jigsaw tools, craftsmen can cut wood with higher precision and in less time. Meanwhile, the use of a paint compressor can produce smooth and even coloring so that through the application of science and technology, this production tool can improve the quality and quantity of wood carving products according to market segmentation.

Abstract

Improving the quality of accounting research in Pontianak City could be done by increasing students' ability to process big data and operate SPSS applications. The increasingly massive development of technology provides convenience in obtaining entity financial information. The quality of financial information will determine stakeholder policies in the future. The ability of accounting students to process financial data will be an added value in the world of work. This workshop was conducted using two methods; delivering materials and mentoring in practicums. Participants who attended this activity numbered 51 people from accounting students of DIII, DIV, S1, and S2 study programs from Pontianak State Polytechnic and Tanjungpura University. The results achieved from this workshop were increased knowledge and skills of participants in applying the SPSS program for big data processing. At the same time, it produces the ability to identify data types, input data, and process data to interpret SPSS output in the form of descriptions.
