Abstract

Kajian komparatif konteks lembaga pendidikan Islam harus terus dilakukan demi perbaikan dan pembaharuan sistem lembaga pendidikan Islam yang ada pada suatu negara. Perlu dipahami bahwa setiap negara di dunia memiliki kearifan lokalnya masing-masing sebagai ciri khasnya. Baik dasar negara, sistem sosial, budaya, sistem hukum maupun sistem pendidikan yang diimplementasikan di dalamnya. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk menelaah kurikulum pendidikan Islam yang ada di dua negara rumpun Melayu, membandingkan dan menganalisis baik persamaan maupun perbedaan sistem kurikulum institusi lembaga pendidikan Islam di Madrasah al-Juneid al-Islamiyah Victoria Lane Singapura dan Sekolah Puyud Pracharak Patani Thailand, untuk selanjutnya ditarik formula positif sebagai tambahan wawasan kajian kislaman khususnya pada bidang pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian pada kajian ini, menggunakan studi pustaka (library research). Yang mana menelusuri literatur kepustakaan terkait komparasi lembaga pendidikan Islam. Hasil dari kajian ini, didapatkan persamaan konten kajian yang diinternalisasikan pada institusi pendidikan Islam di Singapura dan di Thailand, baik pada aspek kurikulum, aktivitas akademik pendidikan dan tantangan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang mana berusaha untuk membentengi peserta didik dari nilai-nilai modernisasi yang negatif dan pola kebijakan yang diterapkan pemerintah berupa dualisme sistem pendidikan yang agaknya menjadi problem tersendiri bagi kemajuan lembaga pendidikan baik di Singapura dan Thailand.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan sesuatu yang sifatnya berubah dan mengalami proses penyempuranaan sebagai bagian dari ciri masyarakat yang majemuk yang menuntut kompleksitas sesuatu. Maka sebagai usaha menjadikan pendidikan tetap beririring bersama dengan kompleksitas tuntutan masyarakat tersebut telah melahirkan munculnya pendidikan multikultural yakni sebuah model yang menekankan pentingnya persoalan keberagaman budaya kehdiupan semua lapisan masyarakat dan mengahapus semua jenis diskriminasi menjadikan masyarakat yang demokratis adil, inklusif, pluralis, dan menjunjung tinggi kemanusiaan (humanis). Dengan kata lain, sebagai jawaban dari persoalan kompleksitas tuntutan masyarakat terhadap pendidikan tersebut, maka diperlukan model pendidikan yang basicly multikultural untuk mengakomodir bermacam- macam persoalan dan tuntutan masyarakat yang beraneka ragam tersebut. Dalam konteks keIndonesiaan, hakekat pendidikan multikultural tidak bisa dijauhkan dari sejarah tentang peran penting Ki Hajar Dewantara sebagai perintis dasar pendidikan di indonesia yang berasaskan keanekaragaman kebudayaana di indonesia yang kemudian dikembangkannya dalam perspektif modern dengan tiga prinsip utama, yakni (1) Adat istiadat sebagai bagian yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dari fenomena kebudayaan, (2) masyarakat mulai sadar tentang pentingnya kehidupan berbudaya, dan (3) asimilasi budaya yang terjadi. Pandangan banyaknya masyarakat bahwa tugas sekolah hanya persoalan ta’dib dan ta’lim dalam proses belajar mengajar saja, padahal persoalan ta’dib dan ta’lim dalam proses belajar mengajar tersebut dapat dicapai secara maksimal, pengelola sekolah atau madrasah wajib hukumnya melaklukan manajemen dengan baik, dengan implementasi fungsi-fungsi manajamen dalam persoalan manajemen kurikulum, manajemen tatalaksana, manajemen organisasi, manajemen siswa, manajemen hubungan masyarakat HUMAS), dan , manajemen sarana-prasarana Islam mengajarkan kita bahwa segala sesuatu harus dilakukan dengan adil, yakni menempatkan sesuatu sesuai pada tempat dan waktunya, teratur, tertib, rapi dan sistematis. Dalam konteks pendidikan juga demikian, pelakasanaannya tentu harus dilakukan dengan sistematis dengan melaksanakan fungsi-fungsi manajerial : planning, organizing, actuating dan controlling (POAC) secara efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of students in environmental education which is carried out through the Adiwiyata program at MAN Sumenep. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles & Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The results showed that students play an important role in the implementation of environmental education through the Adiwiyata program. For example, students turn off the fan in class after use, bring their own shopping bags from home when shopping in the canteen, plant trees and gardens, and manage waste by applying the 3R principles: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, reduce fuel use by using a bicycle. or walking to the madrasa, reducing paper use, making compost from dry leaves, and sorting organic and inorganic waste. The role of students also uses virtual media, namely using Instagram and YouTube to support the Adiwiyata program.

Abstract

One thing that really contributes greatly to learning success is the selection of the right method according to the material being taught. Learning methods are certain methods used by teachers or educators to create learning experiences that are fun, useful, and develop aspects of skills for students. Religiosity is the commitment of a Muslim in carrying out religious activities with full appreciation. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the application of the demonstration method to increase student religiosity in the local content of ubudiyah. The results showed that previous research related to the effectiveness of the demonstration method showed that the demonstration method was very relevant, effective and efficient when used in PAI learning, especially in practical materials, such as praying, slaughtering, and caring for corpses.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the emergence of the phenomenon of the transformation of Islamic education in which many Islamic boarding schools innovate in developing an Islamic education system in the midst of society. In addition to trying to provide 'added value, the world of Islamic boarding schools is also exposed to radical issues to sexual harassment that befell their students. So this was then allegedly by some parties having raised public doubts about the existence of the pesantren itself. This study aims to describe 2 (two) things, namely: a) how the Jaddung community's perception of the existence of pesantren; b) what is the role of the Jaddung community in the sustainability of children's education in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative research approach with the type of field research. Data collection techniques consist of observation and interviews. The data analysis technique uses interactive data analysis consisting of data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results showed that the Jaddung community's perception of the existence of pesantren, among others, namely pesantren is a place of focused learning, pesantren is a bulwark of the younger generation from negative associations outside the pesantren, pesantren is a place for fostering the morals of students, pesantren is a place for fostering the independence of students, and Pesantren is a place to educate and shape the social attitudes of the students. Meanwhile, the role of the Jaddung community in the sustainability of children's education in Islamic boarding schools is as a facilitator, motivator, and mentor.

Abstract

Education is a lifelong process and the embodiment of self-formation as a whole. The development of potential for fulfilling human commitments as individuals, as social beings, and as creatures of God. The purpose of this study is to find out how the teacher's teaching style is, how the students' interest in learning is, and to find out the influence between the teacher's teaching style and the student's attention to learning at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Tegal. This research is qualitative research. This research is true experimental research using a qualitative approach. The results showed that the teacher had a learning method to impart knowledge from a religious and social perspective, and train students to be independent and responsible. Face-to-face learning was temporarily suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so the teacher's interactional teaching style used the Zoom and Whatsapp learning media. Learning interests vary from student to student, and the teacher's assignment is to provide learning stimulus in the form of motivation and encouraging students. The interactional teaching style is related to students' interest in learning because a good teaching style makes students easy to be interested in and understand the material presented by the teacher

Abstract

The reason of the researcher taking this tittle is because one of the efforts to maintain and preserve Madurese language as the mother tongue of Madurese people to study continuously in all circles and levels by using Madurese language either in formal or non-formal events. In this research, the researcher used descriptive qualitative research to know more about word formation process and describes how word formation process on Madurese language used by millennial community at Kebunan Bugih Pamekasan. The data is taken from daily talking and expression by using observation, interview, and documentation. The data were collected then analyzed through familiarizing and organizing, coding and reducing, and interpreting and representing. Based on data collected, the researcher found 48 words used by millennial community at Kebunan Bugih Pamekasan in daily talking and expression that included to word formation process. The researcher concluded that the 48 words of Madurese language used by millennial community at Kebunan Bugih Pamekasan are devided into: 6 words of compounding, 4 words of blending, 18 words of clipping, 7 words of derivition, 5 words of multiple processes, and 10 words of reduplication. The researcher hopes that this research will give valuable information for the readers include word formation process on Madurese language.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the model of character education in the story of Lukman al-Hakim. The approach used is a qualitative approach as a research approach and library research as a type of research. The data collection procedure used the documentation method. While the data analysis technique used descriptive data analysis. Based on the results of an in-depth study of the character education model contained in the Qashashul Qur'an verse, the results of the research indicate that the character education model in the Luqman al-hakim story consists of character education goals which include the formation of human beings, moral development, values the basic values ​​of character education (not arrogant, strong ideals, earnest in seeking knowledge, courtesy, helping, patient, forgiving, responsible, sincere, not easily discouraged, dare to admit mistakes, love God and all His creation, gratitude, no shirk, compassion, obedience to both parents, leadership and social care), as well as the stages of character education through moral education, aqidah education and shari'ah education.

Abstract

This study discusses the scientific dichotomy of Imam Ghazali and its influence on education policies in Indonesia. In Indonesia, there are two formal breeding institutions, namely religious education under the Ministry of Religion and general education under the Ministry of Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. When there are scientific dichotomies and different academic degrees, this will affect the public confidence in the ability of religious college graduates, this of course will not be in accordance with the goals of education in Indonesia which is just and equalizes religious education and general education. To show whether or not there is a dichotomy of science by Imam Ghazali, this research is carried out on Imam Ghozali's statements about the dichotomy of science, either in his work or in quotes from other people's works about Imam Ghazali. This research method uses Library Research, where the data presented is based on the related literature of the literaturE of Imam Ghazali's thoughts on science. The findings of this study stated that Imam Ghazali did not dichotomy of science, Imam Ghazali only classified which science was the first to be studied. The classification of knowledge carried out by Ghazali according to the needs and benefits of science for the students’ knowledge and al-Ghazali's thoughts did not have a significant influence on education policy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Students, low level of understanding in Arabic learning can be influenced by several factors, such as the lack of mastery of Arabic vocabulary because to determine the level of understanding of students one of them can be measured by achievement or learning outcomes. Other factors, like a teacher’s lack of enthusiasm in applying methods. Teachers tend to use the lecture method, thus making students bored, sleepy and the class tends to lose concentration. The tikrar method is a form of the old method but is still relevant and widely used today. This method is an answer and a solution in the midst of the vacuum of Arabic teachers when they do not find the best solution in Arabic classes. This method is a unique learning method because it focuses on the learner to be able to master this technique. Because there is a direct learning process there using a variety of techniques. To overcome the existing problems, it is necessary to improve the use of fun ways in the learning process. By applying the tikrar method or the takririyah method, the author believes that he will be able to provide convenience in mastering and memorizing Arabic vocabulary.
