Assuthur: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab is an open-access journal published by the Arabic Education Department of Postgraduate Program, IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. The purpose of this scientific journal is to disseminate the knowledge gained as a consequence of the study, and it is available to researchers who wish to increase their understanding in those specific areas. Assuthur: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab is a journal of scholarly research on Arabic language education, linguistics, and literature. It is open to anybody who wishes to acquire information based on credible research in any discipline. Contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation of submitted papers are assessed by anonymous reviewers using double-blind peer review. This publication is issued twice yearly (June and December). Abstract

This research was motivated by many students who were less active and creative in learning. So that their learning results become less good. To increase student activeness and creativity, the right learning model is needed. For example with cooperative learning, one type of cooperative learning model is Numbered Heads Together (NHT), Through this learning model students are expected to be responsible for their group tasks, so that there is no separation between one student and another student in one group to give and receive each other. Here researchers also use a cooperative learning model of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type because students are expected to be active in participating in learning through cooperation between groups in answering questions in quizzes. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of arabic learning using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type cooperative learning model in grade VIII MTs Hikmatul Amanah students, to determine the results of mathematics learning using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model in grade VIII MTs Hikamatul Amanah students. and to find out the difference in Arabic learning outcomes between those who use the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type learning model with Teams Games Tournament (TGT) in grade VIII MTs Hikamtul Amanah students. This research uses quantitative research, with the type of comparative research and experiments. The study population was the entire class VIII MTs Hikmatul Amanah which amounted to 178 students. With a sample number of 33 students from class VIII A experimental class I and VIII D experimental class II. Test The results showed that the average score of Arabic learning outcomes using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type cooperative learning model was 88.33 in the high category, while the average score of Arabic learning outcomes using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model was 85.18 in the high category. The results of the hypothesis calculation obtained the value of tcalculate = 1.671 then the value was compared with the value of ttabel = 1.55 at the level of significance 0.05 Thus tcalculate > ttable. So it can be concluded "There are differences in mathematics learning outcomes between those using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type learning model and Teams Games Tournament (TGT) in grade VIII MTs Hikmatul Amanah students for the 2022/2023 school year".

Abstract

This research is action research with data collection techniques through observation, tests, and documentation using a spiral model through 4 (four) stages or procedures, namely planning, implementing actions, observation and reflection. The analysis technique is data in the form of quantitative data and qualitative data consisting of pre-cyclical test results, cycles I and II. The source of data from this research is class X students. 10 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Pinrang for the 2022/2023 academic year totaling 16 people which will be held for 3 (three) months in August, September to October 2022. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that learning Arabic on tarkib dhamir material using visual media (images) can improve the results and enthusiasm for learning of class X students. 10 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Pinrang. This can be seen from the pre-cycle data with an average of 69.6, cycle I with an average of 73.8, and cycle II which is increasingly increasing with an average of 80.

Abstract

مستخلص: تهدف الدراسة إلى: (1) لمعرفة كيفية تطوير البرنامج أوتوبلاي ميديا ستوديو لمهارة القراءة لتلاميذ الصف الحادي عشر(2) لمعرفة خصائص المنتج الوسيلة التعليمية المطورة على أساس برنامج أوتوبلاي ميديا ستوديو لمهارة القراءة لتلاميذ الصف الحادي عشر (3) لمعرفة فعالية برنامج أوتوبلاي ميديا ستوديو المطورة في تعليم مهارة القراءة للصف الحادي عشر. في هذا البحث، استخدم الباحث طريقة البحث والتطوير مع نموذج التطوير الخاص بهم باستخدام نموذج ADDIE. مصدر البيانات في هذا البحث هو البيانات الكيفية والبيانات الكمية، و أدوات جمع البيانات المستخدمة في شكل مقابلة واستبيانات واختبار. نتائج هذا البحث هي: (1) في تطوير الوسيلة التعليمية الباحث اتبع الخطوات التالية: أ) تحليل الاحتياجات، ب) تصميم المنتج، ج) تطوير المنتج، د) تجربة المنتج للتلاميذ، ه) التقويم. (2) خصائص الوسيلة التعليمية المنتجات على أساس برنامج أوتوبلاي ميديا ستوديو تشمل: يجب أن تستخدم هذه الوسيلة التعليمية على جهاز الكمبيوتر / المحمول مع قرار من 720 × 1080 بكسل؛ لا يمكن استخدامها عبر الإنترنت؛ يتم تكييف مواد الوسيلة التعليمية مع الكفاءات الأساسية لتعلم اللغة العربية في الصف الحادي عشر ، ويتم تطبيق النهج السياقية في شكل نص وصور وسمعية. (3) الوسيلة التعليمية المستندة إلى تطبيق أوتوبلاي ميديا ستودي فعالة لتعلم مهارة القراءة باللغة العربية. انطلاقا من معدل نتيجة الاختبار القبلي = 45.22٪ و الاختبار البعدي = 85.87٪، ثم نتيجة الاختبارt-test ، = thitung 10،918 أكبر من ttabel 2،074.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to show the educational aspects of Richard Rorty's thought that are linked to Arabic language education. This research is a type of document analysis that identifies and selects data in the form of text, then checks, sorts and evaluates the core concepts of Rorty's thinking systematically to be able to understand and interpret it in the context of learning Arabic. The research method used is literature research. Data analysis is carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn/verification. The results of the study show that Rorty's Paradigm of Thinking touches on several important aspects about the purpose and method of language teaching. In Rorty's view, the function of language as a means of communication, Rorty emphasizes the role of language as a tool for social interaction and conveying meaning. In language education, Rorty's educational paradigm challenges an approach that focuses on teaching rigid and normative grammar. In addition, he emphasized the importance of education as a social construction process where students not only learn language, but also develop their perspective on the world and the way they interact with others. Thus, Rorty's thinking in relation to language education emphasizes creativity, social and cultural context, as well as a growing understanding of language and meaning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze cross-class marriage in the novel "Heart of the Night" by Naguib Mahfouz using Hegel's dialectical perspective.  The research method used is a qualitative analysis of the content of the novel and the application of Hegel's dialectical theory to understand the conflict and synthesis in the marriage relationship between the main characters, Jafar Sayyed Ar-rawi, and Marwana.The purpose of this research is to explore the complexity of interclass marriage in the novel and identify the social, cultural, and economic conflicts that arise as a result of this relationship. In addition, this study aims to understand how Hegel's dialectical perspective can help in interpreting the dynamics of cross-class marriage in the context of a broader society. The results of the study show that the novel "Heart of the Night" depicts cross-class marriage as a reflection of social imbalances and disparities in society. The conflict between tradition and modernity, as well as economic and social inequalities, became obstacles to the marriage relationship of the main characters. However, Jafar Sayyed Ar-rawi showed perseverance and enthusiasm in maintaining his belief in bringing social justice to his people. Using Hegel's dialectical perspective, this study finds that the conflicts that arise from this cross-class marriage are forms of thesis and antithesis that contradict each other. However, through this struggle and conflict resolution, a synthesis was created that included understanding and unity between these figures. This synthesis reflects the importance of respecting social and cultural differences in a marriage as well as the possibility of searching for deeper meaning in life in the midst of a life full of challenges. This research illustrates that the novel "Heart of the Night" not only focuses on interclass marriage, but also highlights fortitude and enthusiasm in facing life's difficulties as well as the importance of conflict resolution and social understanding in society. With Hegel's dialectical approach, this study provides in-depth insights into the dynamics of social relations and marriage in the context of class differences in society.

Abstract

The Al-Qur’an is a guide to life for Muslims which contains many majaz and has educational values. One of the letters of the Qur'an that will be studied is the letter An-Nisa. This research aims to examine the mursal majaz contained in the An-Nisa letter and its relevance to aspects of women's education. The method used is qualitative with a heritage study approach. Research data was obtained from the verses of An-Nisa's letter using thematic - comparative - and semantic methods. The results of the research show that in An-Nisa's letter there are 29 pieces of data that are ordered as majaz mursal. This research shows that the majaz in the Koran, especially Surah An-Nisa, has great potential to be applied in women's education. By understanding these majaz, it is hoped that women can be more motivated to improve their self-quality and contribute positively in various areas of life.

Abstract

Mu'jamul 'Arabiyyah lil Hayah is a dictionary compiled by UIN Malang language development to make it easier for students to learn Arabic. This dictionary is analyzed in terms of components, systematics and structure. This research aims to analyze Mu'jamul 'Arabiyyah lil Hayah as a whole, using descriptive qualitative research. The results of this research are that Mu'jamul 'Arabiyyah lil Hayah is an ideal dictionary because of its convenience, completeness, accuracy, it meets the learning criteria in language development at UIN Malang. Another researcher. Furthermore, it is hoped that we will be able to study and analyze more broadly the Mu'jamul 'Arabiyyah lil Hayah using other points of view.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the muha>das|ah method applied in Arabic language learning in MAN Surabaya City. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was obtained from two sources, namely primary and secondary with documentation, observation and interview techniques, then validity tests and conclusions were drawn. The results of the study show that the learning curriculum at MAN Surabaya City can be said to have succeeded in producing people who are fluent in Arabic, judging from the books used. The researcher also found that the students were very enthusiastic in participating in muha>das|ah activities using dialogue memorization techniques. The students were very enthusiastic about practicing dialogue in front of the class. The students were happy when they performed with their colleagues who were practicing dialogue using Arabic. By repeating it many times by the teacher and then followed by the students so that students can memorize and get used to the pronunciation faster.

Abstract

Oral literature is a form of literary work that originates from ancient societies, which still prioritize traditional values to shape individual character through messages passed down through generations. This study uses a library research method, a research approach that examines and analyzes books, literature, journals, notes, and relevant reports as research sources related to the issue being studied. The purpose of this article is specifically to detail the similarities and differences in the types of oral poetry in Gorontalo and Arabic. The results of this study show that both Gorontalo and Arabic oral poetry have similarities and differences. The similarity lies in the function of the poetry, which serves as a means of communication to preserve and convey cultural values, history, and traditions from one generation to the next. As for the differences, Gorontalo oral poetry tends to emphasize the wisdom of customs and adherence to Islam, while the themes in Arabic oral poetry reflect the valor of the Arab people, in line with the tough character of the Arab nation. In addition, Gorontalo oral literature also includes Lumadu poetry, which offers entertainment through riddles, a feature not found in Arabic oral literature. In terms of presentation, Gorontalo oral poetry is delivered through songs or recitations accompanied by traditional music, while Arabic oral poetry relies more on verbal power and rhetoric without the use of musical instruments.

Abstract

This study analyzes the application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) elements in Arabic language learning videos on the Arab Podcast YouTube channel. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with content analysis of videos that focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. The results show that CTL elements such as constructivism have been well implemented, especially through the relevance of the material to the context of learners' daily lives. However, other elements such as inquiry, reflection, authentic assessment, and learning community are still not optimal. Videos tend to be one-way, lacking in facilitating collaboration between learners or independent exploration of concepts. In addition, authentic assessments that support the application of skills in real-life situations.
