Abstract

Digital transformation in the agricultural sector is one strategy to improve farmer welfare and strengthen the rural economy in the Society 5.0 era. Enrekang Regency has great potential as a horticulture and plantation center, but still faces various obstacles such as low digital literacy among farmers, limited access to market information, weak agricultural business records, and the suboptimal use of digital technology. This community service activity aims to increase farmer capacity through information technology-based agricultural digitalization supported by the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Program of PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur. The methods used include Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), training, mentoring, technology demonstrations, and monitoring and evaluation. A total of 60 farmers from several villages in Enrekang Regency participated in the program. The results of the activity showed an increase in farmers' ability to use digital agricultural applications, digital financial recording, social media, and marketplace-based marketing, and increased access to commodity price and weather information. This program also encouraged the formation of digital farmer groups that strengthen collaboration between farmers, local governments, universities, and the industrial sector. This activity has a positive impact on increasing productivity, farming efficiency, and strengthening the rural economy in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of spiritual activities and the development of student creativity at SMTK Alor Barat Laut, Alor Regency, as well as to analyze their contribution to the spiritual growth and potential development of students within the context of Christian education. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research involved the principal, teachers, dormitory supervisors, and students as research subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that structured spiritual activities conducted through morning worship, afternoon worship, evening worship, fasting worship, the Bible Reading Movement, memorization of golden verses, praise practice, and tambourine practice have made significant contributions to the spiritual growth and creativity development of students. The active involvement of students as worship leaders and as performers in artistic ministries fosters self-confidence, the ability to express themselves through music and the arts, as well as responsible character grounded in Christian values. Supporting factors for the implementation of these activities include a clear program structure, full support from teachers and dormitory supervisors, and the active participation of the school community, while inhibiting factors include a packed schedule and limited facilities and infrastructure. This study concludes that SMTK Alor Barat Laut has successfully realized holistic education that integrates spiritual formation and creativity development in a balanced manner, so that students grow into individuals who are faithful, creative, and character-driven in accordance with the values of Christian education.

Abstract

Stunting remains a major nutritional problem in many priority intervention areas, particularly among mothers and children during the First 1,000 Days of Life (1,000 HPK), a critical period that determines children's growth and development. Limited knowledge regarding nutrition, appropriate parenting practices, and optimal infant and young child feeding contributes significantly to the high prevalence of stunting. This community service program aimed to improve community knowledge and behavior related to stunting prevention through the implementation of the First 1,000 Days of Life (1,000 HPK) mentoring program. The intervention employed health education and home-visit mentoring as its primary methods. The target participants included pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, postpartum mothers, and mothers with children aged 0–2 years residing in a stunting-priority area. The community service program was successfully implemented in Uma Sima Village. Educational activities effectively enhanced participants' understanding of the importance of adequate nutrition, exclusive breastfeeding, and regular child growth and development monitoring. Among the 27 participants, one child was identified as experiencing stunting, indicating the need for continuous and comprehensive follow-up assistance. The high level of community participation and enthusiasm throughout the program demonstrated that health education and mentoring are valuable strategies for increasing public awareness and strengthening stunting prevention efforts during the First 1,000 Days of Life.

Abstract

Stunting remains one of the health issues that impacts the growth, development, and quality of future human resources. Efforts to prevent stunting must be carried out by improving parents’ knowledge of nutritional needs, monitoring growth and development, and early detection of growth disorders in toddlers. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge of mothers of toddlers regarding stunting prevention through education on the First 1,000 Days of Life (HPK) and monitoring of toddler growth and development. The activity was held on January 15, 2026, at the Sumbermulyo Village Hall, Jogoroto Subdistrict, Jombang Regency, involving 32 mothers of toddlers. The methods used included counseling on stunting prevention, growth and development monitoring, and anthropometric measurements of toddlers, delivered through lectures, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. An evaluation was conducted using pre- and post-tests to measure participants’ knowledge gains. The results showed that participants enthusiastically engaged in the activity and demonstrated improved understanding of stunting prevention, the importance of growth monitoring, and anthropometric measurements for toddlers. In addition, the anthropometric measurement results provided an overview of the toddlers’ growth status and helped identify children requiring further monitoring. This activity proved effective in increasing the knowledge and awareness of mothers of toddlers regarding stunting prevention efforts and the importance of regular growth and development monitoring. The continuity of educational activities and health monitoring through Posyandu must continue to be supported to improve children’s health and foster a healthy and high-quality generation.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) and stunting remain serious public health challenges in Indonesia, particularly in densely populated urban areas. RW 05 Situsaeur Urban Village, Bojongloa Kidul Subdistrict, Bandung City is an area with a high risk of TB transmission and undernutrition among children under five, while community understanding of early TB symptoms, transmission routes, balanced nutrition, and stunting prevention remains limited. This community service activity aimed to improve community knowledge, attitudes, and behavior in preventing TB and stunting in children through health education and cadre empowerment. The activity was conducted on 2 December 2025 at the Dojo Building of RW 05 Situsaeur, involving 42 participants consisting of mothers of children under five, Posyandu cadres, and community leaders. Methods included interactive health education, educational videos, focus group discussions, demonstrations of effective coughing technique and nutritious complementary feeding (MPASI) preparation, and distribution of leaflets and posters. Evaluation was conducted using pretest and posttest. Results showed an increase in knowledge across all measured indicators: early TB symptoms in children (67% to 74%), TB transmission routes (69% to 74%), balanced nutrition principles (66% to 69%), and stunting prevention methods (63% to 88%). Posyandu cadres expressed readiness to continue similar education independently using the provided materials. This activity demonstrates that interactive education combined with cadre empowerment is an effective and sustainable strategy for community-level TB and stunting prevention.
