Abstract

This article examines the concept of learning assessment from the perspective of Islamic psychopedagogy and its relevance to contemporary education. Using a qualitative library research method, this study analyzes theories from educational experts and Quranic foundations related to assessment principles, including validity, reliability, objectivity, practicality, and usability. The results show that learning assessment functions not only as a measurement tool for cognitive achievement but also as a means of fostering affective and psychomotor development. Islamic principles emphasize fairness, proportionality, accountability, and appreciation for effort, which align with modern assessment approaches such as authentic assessment and competency-based evaluation. Current issues including imbalance between formative and summative assessment, the challenge of assessing character, and the integration of digital technology are also discussed. This study concludes that holistic assessment-integrating pedagogical theory and Islamic values—is essential to developing an equitable and meaningful learning process.

Abstract

This article examines the position and methodological foundation of Ijma’ (consensus of scholars) and Qiyas (analogical reasoning) as essential sources in Islamic legal theory. As new socio-economic and technological issues emerge, classical jurisprudential approaches require reinterpretation to maintain relevance. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method through literature review of classical and contemporary works in Ushul Fiqh. The findings show that Ijma’ provides definitive legitimacy to legal rulings when scholars reach unanimous consensus, while Qiyas enables legal extension based on shared effective causes (‘illah). However, debates remain regarding the authority of silent consensus (Ijma’ Sukuti) and the limit of analogical reasoning in complex modern cases. The novelty of this research lies in systematically linking classical arguments with contemporary legal challenges, offering a conceptual model for applying Ijma’ and Qiyas in modern jurisprudential contexts, especially in digital and socio-ethical issues.

Abstract

This study systematically analyzes the transformation of teachers' digital competence within the context of online and blended learning. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 25 articles published between 2019–2024, the research identifies the underlying success factors and implementation challenges. The findings reveal that TPACK and DigCompEdu are the most dominant frameworks guiding research and development. Key success factors include high Self-Efficacy and Internal Motivation among teachers, supported by Continuous Hands-on Training and Institutional Leadership. The greatest challenges are rooted in the Infrastructure Gap (First-Order Barriers), prevalent in developing countries, and the Pedagogical Digital Skill Gap (Second-Order Barriers), which refers to teachers' inability to integrate technology for effective interaction and assessment. Successful implementation requires a shift from passive training to Learning by Design models (TPACK-based projects) and continuous Coaching to bolster teacher confidence and bridge the Pedagogical Digital Gap.

Abstract

This study explores the issue of unfamiliarity with professional zakat among Indonesian Muslims, where types of professional income such as doctors' or lawyers' salaries have not been fully recognized as objects of zakat, even though they have great potential to support social welfare. The main purpose is to examine the legal basis of professional zakat through analogy (qiyas) with other property zakat, as well as to formulate provisions and calculation methods in accordance with the modern economic context, in order to improve understanding and application in society. The method used is a qualitative approach with library research, involving content analysis of classical and contemporary literature sources such as the fiqh book of Yusuf al-Qardhawi, scholarly interpretation, and modern studies of professional zakat. The results of the study show that professional zakat has a strong shari'i basis from Qur'anic verses and general hadiths, with qiyas on trade zakat as the most moderate approach (nisab 85 grams of gold, 2.5% level, one-year haul), as well as the flexibility of calculation between gross or net income based on muzakki conditions. Recommendations include intensive education by zakat institutions and the development of a practical calculation model to introduce professional zakat as an integral part of Islamic social worship.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a mathematics teaching module on the topic of the area of squares and rectangles implemented for fourth-grade elementary school students through the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. The background of the study stems from students’ low conceptual understanding of area, which is still focused on memorizing formulas, and their weak understanding of units of area. The method used is descriptive qualitative, involving observation of the learning process, analysis of students’ worksheets (LKPD), and identification of obstacles encountered during the trial implementation. The results show that the teaching module helps students understand the concept of area concretely through the use of grids and the measurement of real objects. Students demonstrated high engagement in group work, discussions, and project result presentations. The challenges encountered include difficulty distinguishing between area and perimeter, lack of accuracy in counting unit squares, and weak understanding of square units. Overall, the teaching module is considered effective in improving conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and student engagement, although it still requires reinforcement of visual instructions and strategies for calculation efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of viral marketing on the TikTok platform on purchase decisions for Implora lipstick products, with brand awareness serving as an intervening variable. The research background stems from the phenomenon of high exposure to Implora content on TikTok, which has not yet aligned with an optimal level of purchase conversion . This highlights the importance of understanding the role of brand awareness as a bridge between viral marketing and purchase decisions. This study employs a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 150 respondents, consisting of TikTok users in West Java who are familiar with Implora products . The sampling technique applied was purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using mediation testing with SmartPLS version 4 software. The results indicate that viral marketing has a positive and significant effect on both brand awareness and purchase decisions. Additionally, brand awareness is proven to have a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions . Key findings demonstrate that brand awareness significantly mediates the relationship between viral marketing and purchase decisions. This implies that viral content on TikTok is far more effective in driving purchases when it successfully builds strong brand awareness in the minds of consumers first.
