Abstract

Gender - Based Violence (GBV) in educational institutions is a serious problem that impacts the safety, psychological health and academic achievement of students. This study aims to systematically examine the causes, forms and efforts to address GBV in the educational context using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The literature search process was conducted in reputable scientific databases using keywords relevant to GBV, education  and power relations. Selected articles were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, then analyzed thematically to identify patterns and trends in research findings. The results of the study indicate that the main factors of GBV in educational institutions include rigid gender stereotypes and norms, patriarchal culture, unequal power relations, dysfunctional family backgrounds, substance abuse and the influence of the internet and technology. The most frequently reported forms of violence include physical, verbal, psychological, sexual and symbolic violence that occurs both in person and through online media. The impact of this violence not only reduces students' sense of security and psychological well-being but also negatively affects attendance and academic achievement. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive response strategy through gender equality education, strengthening institutional policies, increasing educator capacity  and providing support systems and safe spaces for victims. These findings are expected to inform the development of more inclusive educational policies and practices free from GBV.

Abstract

Students’ respect toward teachers is a crucial element in ensuring the success of educational processes and character formation in schools. However, contemporary social dynamics and the influence of digital media have contributed to a decline in respectful behavior among adolescents. This study aims to describe the role of Guidance and Counseling (GC) teachers in cultivating and enhancing students’ respect for teachers at SMPK St. Theresia Kupang. A qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach was employed to explore students’ experiences, perceptions, and behaviors related to respectful conduct within the school environment. The findings reveal that GC teachers play a strategic role through individual counseling, group counseling, classroom guidance, and responsive services that help students regulate emotions, improve communication skills, and internalize moral values and interaction ethics. GC teachers also function as mediators in conflict situations, facilitators of character development, and role models in fostering a culture of mutual respect. The study concludes that the integration of counseling services, teacher role modeling, and school-wide habituation practices is essential in rebuilding students’ sense of respect. Therefore, GC teachers hold a significant role in creating an ethical, harmonious, and conducive school climate for effective learning.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven the transformation of payment system across various economic sectors, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, the adoption of Digital Payment in west Aceh Regency, particularly in Johan Pahlawan District, remains limited despite its potential to enhance transaction efficiency and business income. The purpose of this research is to examine how Digital Payment adoption impacts the income of MSMEs in Johan Pahlawan District. Employing a quantitative methodology, primary data were gathered via questionnaires distributed to 100 MSME operators who utilize Digital Payment systems. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression, revealing that the implementation of Digital Payment exerts a significant and positive influence on MSME revenues These findings suggest that increased utilization of Digital Payment systems can support income growth among MSMEs, although its contribution is not yet dominant. Therefore, Digital Payment can be concluded as one of the supporting factors in improving MSMEs income performance at the local level.

Abstract

This study focuses on how the law protects contract workers based on the provisions of Law No. 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower. Using a normative approach based on legislation and conceptual methods, this study draws on secondary data such as Law No. 13 of 2003, Government Regulation No. 35 of 2021, legal references, and scientific works. The findings indicate that labor regulations in Indonesia provide fairly comprehensive protection for PKWT workers, including BPJS membership, the right to fair wages, occupational health and safety, and freedom of association. However, there is a clear discrepancy between the legal norm (das sollen) and its implementation (das sein). The main challenges that arise include diverse interpretations of the term “de jure” so that changes in employment status do not proceed as they should, unclear responsibilities in the outsourcing system, weak labor supervision due to limited resources and low compliance among business actors, and low legal understanding and access to justice for workers. Although the available regulations are quite comprehensive, the effectiveness of protection for PKWT workers is still not optimal, requiring significant improvements both normatively and institutionally, particularly regarding the consistency of law enforcement, increasing the capacity of supervisors, improving mechanisms for handling violations, and strengthening legal education for workers.

Abstract

PSAK 409 on Amil Financial Reporting is an accounting standard designed to improve transparency, accountability, and the quality of financial statements in Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ). However, its implementation still faces various challenges, particularly in institutions with limited resource capacity. This article discusses the main obstacles encountered by LAZ in applying PSAK 409, including limited technical understanding of human resources, uneven availability of adequate accounting information systems, difficulties in recording zakat-infaq-sedekah funds according to standard classifications, and lack of continuous training. In addition, this article examines how regulatory factors, institutional size, and technological readiness also affect successful implementation. Identifying these challenges is expected to serve as a basis for developing strategies to enhance standard compliance and formulate supporting policies so that LAZ financial reporting can become more transparent and reliable.

Abstract

Islamic boarding school is an Islamic educational institution that plays a strategic role in shaping the character, morals, and intellectual development of its students through an education system based on Islamic values and classical teaching traditions. However, the development of digital technology requires Islamic boarding school to adapt to remain relevant in answering the challenges of the Times. This study aims to examine the integration of digital technology in the boarding school education system by exploring the potential, challenges, and implementation strategies of digital transformation that are based on the traditional values of boarding schools. The study used a qualitative approach through literature studies, case analysis, semi-structured interviews, and field observations, with triangulation techniques to maintain data validity. The results show that the digitization of Islamic boarding school has great potential in expanding access to learning materials, improving administrative efficiency, and opening up opportunities for collaboration and global networking. On the other hand, the implementation of technology faces challenges in the form of limited digital literacy, infrastructure, and financing constraints, as well as concerns about the erosion of traditional Islamic boarding school values. The case study of Darunnajah Islamic boarding school in Jakarta shows that a planned digital transformation, supported by the development of human resources, technological infrastructure, and commitment to maintaining tradition, is able to improve the quality of learning and governance of the Islamic boarding school. This study recommends an integrative and contextual digital transformation strategy as an effort to realize an adaptive, innovative, and still firmly rooted Islamic boarding school in Islamic values.

Abstract

This study examines the role of teachers and students in achieving deep learning based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Indonesian Language subject at MAN 13 Jakarta, as a form of adaptation to the changing characteristics of Generation Z and the demands of 21st-century education. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with interview techniques, this research explores the application of the principles of mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning, as well as the stages of deep learning, including understanding, applying, and reflecting. The findings indicate that teachers act as facilitators who guide the wise use of AI through platforms such as Wordwall, Padlet, Canva, and Quizizz, while students play an active role as learners who utilize AI to obtain information, enrich literacy, and develop critical thinking skills. The principle of joyful learning emerges as the most dominant element in the teacher's learning practices, while meaningful learning is more prominent in the students' learning experiences. Although AI integration enhances interactivity and the relevance of learning, students' self-regulation skills in using AI still need further development. This study affirms that AI integration strengthens deep learning, but still requires teacher guidance to ensure that learning remains critical, creative, and responsible.

Abstract

Multicultural education is a crucial approach to addressing the increasing complexity of cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, particularly in Indonesia as a multicultural nation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of multicultural education in Indonesia and to compare it with practices in multinational countries such as Canada and Australia. The research employed a literature review method by analyzing various scholarly sources, including journal articles, books, research reports, and relevant national and international education policies published between 2015 and 2025. The findings indicate that although Indonesia has established policy frameworks supporting multicultural education, its implementation continues to face significant challenges, particularly in integrating multicultural values into the curriculum and in the limited availability of teacher training for managing cultural diversity in the classroom. In contrast, Canada and Australia demonstrate more systematic and integrated practices of multicultural education, despite ongoing challenges related to socio-economic disparities. The study concludes that the gap between policy and practice remains the primary barrier to the effective implementation of multicultural education in Indonesia. Therefore, a more holistic policy reformulation, the development of inclusive curricula, and the strengthening of teacher competencies are necessary to ensure that multicultural education can be implemented effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

Given the lack of variety in existing learning instruments and the high level of student interest in digital learning, the objective of this study was to describe the needs for developing an interactive electronic Student Workshee that is both relevant to student requirements and aligned with the principles of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) to support deep learning. The methodology employed was quantitative descriptive research, involving 25 students and two teachers from SD Negeri 42 Bengkulu City, who participated through questionnaires and interviews. The results indicate that the majority of students responded positively to the use of E-Worksheets in the teaching and learning process, with 20 students stating that the problems within the E-Worksheets fostered their enthusiasm. Despite this positive sentiment, the data also highlighted the necessity for improving the variety of E-Worksheets content to better match student proficiency. The implication of this research is that the development of the e- E-Worksheets can enhance student engagement, facilitate more profound learning, and prepare students for future academic challenges by integrating active learning methods with modern technology. Thus, the development of PjBL-based E-Worksheets is expected not only to improve academic outcomes but also to build a sustained love for learning among students.
