Abstract

Background. The paradigm of religious moderation (wasathiyah Islam) is a style of understanding and practice of Islam or an approach in contextualizing Islamic teachings in the midst of modernization and globalization. Purpose. This study aims to study and find a model for internalizing the value of religious moderation in higher education. Religious moderation is not a new teaching, not a new idiology and also not a new flow, but religious moderation is a way of view, attitude and behavior or religious practice by taking the middle way, acting fairly, balanced and not extreme or not excessive in religion. Method. This research is a qualitative research with data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model starting from data collection, data condensation, data display and conclusions/verifying. Data validity was carried out with observation persistence, extension of participation, reference and triangulation. Results. Second, the inculturation model is carried out through exemplary and habituation or habituation in the campus environment. Third, the religious culture model is to create an Islamic campus environment by creating Islamic study centers such as the Qur'an study center and campus da'wah institutions as the basis for the movement to ground moderate Islam in the college environment. Conclusion. In the world of education such as universities, religious moderation becomes a necessity in shaping the character of moderate students.

Abstract

Background. Learning strategies in the independent curriculum must be optimized for teachers as the spearhead in advancing mutually beneficial education. If this is not realized, then the government's hopes of overcoming the weaknesses of Indonesian education will not be realized. This benchmark is the reference for researchers to describe how the Merdeka Curriculum learning strategies are used to build student potential. Purpose. This qualitative research describes how the Merdeka Curriculum learning strategies build student potential. Method. This study refers to "Literature Studies," where books and research results are the main sources of data as material for describing good Merdeka Curriculum learning strategies. Results. In the Merdeka Curriculum, appropriate learning strategies to achieve goals can be realized through project-based, collaborative, technology-based, problem-based, and experience-based learning. Conclusion. If this project-based, collaborative, technology-based, problem-based, and experience-based learning strategy can be realized well, students can develop interests, talents, and skills that match their potential. Thus, applying these strategies in the Merdeka Curriculum can provide meaningful and relevant learning experiences for students.

Abstract

Background. Several local cultures of the Sasak tribe are threatened with extinction, one of which is Bebubus Batu. Preserving this culture needs to be done from an early age. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare learning tools based on local wisdom in early childhood education units. Bebubus Batu can be incorporated into learning in the form of a fairy tale Purpose. This research aims to develop learning tools in the form of fairy tales based on the local wisdom of the Sasak tribe, namely the Bebubus Batu culture. Method. This research involved the community, religious leaders, traditional leaders, and early childhood education teachers. The data was then analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach Results. Research findings show that bebubus batu culture can be presented to young children in the form of fairy tales because it contains noble values such as (1) Respect for food as a product of the earth. (2) cooperation. (3) Belief in supernatural things. (4) Be wise in managing natural resources. (5) Strengthen ties of friendship. Conclusion. Bebubus Batu culture can be used as a medium for learning fairy tales in early childhood education units because it contains noble values

Abstract

Background. One of the guidance and counseling service programs that must be upgraded techniques or ways of service using computer and internet media is classical services.   Purpose. The purpose of the research is to find out in terms of feasibility in the development of a Classical Service Guide Using Kahoot Game which is applied to counseling teachers in schools. Method. Research conducted by researchers is a type of development research or Research and Development (R&D). Results. The results of validation from design experts show that the product design is in the very feasible category with a score of 53 at a percentage of 94.6%. the results of the material expert validation show that the material from the classical service guide using this kahoot game, is in the very feasible category with a score of 57 on the validation sheet and is at a percentage of 95%. Conclusion. So that in some of these results it can be understood that our service guide is very feasible to be used in the implementation of classical services by utilizing technological media such as this kahoot game. Furthermore, in the limited product trial, the results of this product trial were found to be in the very feasible category with a score obtained from the teacher response sheet of 99 with a percentage of 88.3%.

Abstract

Background. Modern Western psychology developed by focusing on observing and understanding human behavior through scientific methods. Psychoanalysis developed by Sigmund Freud, who tried to understand how unconscious factors influence human behavior and thoughts. Purpose. basic theory of psychoanalysis emphasizes the importance of understanding unconscious conflicts, complexes, and defense mechanisms in shaping one's personality and behavior. Method. Behavioristic psychology emphasizes the importance of stimulus and response in shaping behavior. Behaviorism emphasizes the importance of learning through stimulus and response, as well as the process of association between stimulus and response that forms patterns of behavior. Results. Humanistic psychology includes concepts of self-awareness, taking responsibility for life choices, and the desire for self-actualization. Transpersonal psychology recognizes that humans have spiritual needs and potentials that encompass experiences beyond the material and ego aspects. The main idea in transpersonal psychology involves integrating spiritual aspects or experiences that transcend personality (transpersonal). Conclusion. Understanding the main points of psychoanalytic, behavioristic, humanistic and transpersonal thought as schools of modern western psychology will provide a comprehensive understanding of modern western psychology.

Abstract

Background. In teaching learning process of English courses, the teachers have an important role because they are the influential people in the class and students can learn from the teachers, while the teachers have to provide suitable learning system by using interesting instruction of the material and good method as a strategy to interest students. Think Talk Write (TTW) Strategy is one of the alternative methods in teaching learning process to increase students’ understanding and communicating that is based on comprehension that study is a social behavior. Therefore, this title is expected to inform about the implementation of Think Talk Write (TTW) Strategy in teaching learning English process especially in teaching speaking Purpose. The researcher is interested to conduct the research for students at the third level of Institut Prima Bhakti Pamekasan in which an English teacher implements TTW Strategy in teaching speaking. The problems investigated in this study were the way to implement, the difficulties that faced by students and the ways to solve the students’ difficulties in teaching speaking using Think Talk Write (TTW) Strategy. Method. In obtaining the data, the researcher used descriptive qualitative to describe all of the result of research and the data were gotten by observation to see the teaching speaking process in the class, interview to get supporting data and documentation as a proof to study the data. This research had done five times. The first, it was done on 27th September 2023, the second on 28th September 2023, the third on 5th October 2023, the fourth on 12th October 2023, and the fifth on 19th October 2023. Results. The result of the study showed that in the implementation of teaching speaking used TTW strategy at the third level of Institut Prima Bhakti Pamekasan, the teacher introduced the topic at the first and asked the students to answer the problem of the topic individually (think phase), then discussed the topic in a group (talk phase) and wrote the result of discussion individually. The last, the teacher asked the students to present their answer to the other group that possible for other group gave consideration. Conclusion. The students’ difficulties were they difficult to have understanding about the topic because they had no experience, they difficult to make sentences because they had little vocabularies and relate their opinion with other friends’ opinion in a group (talk phase).

Abstract

Background. Autonomy is the freedom to maintain and promote the special interests of the region, with its own finances, determine its own laws, and self-government. Purpose. Educational autonomy according to the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003 is revealed in the rights and obligations of citizens, parents, communities, and governments. Method. The research and development method is a research method used to produce certain products, and test the effectiveness of these products. Results. The results of this paper show that autonomy aims to autonomize a person or an institution or a region, so that educational autonomy has the aim of providing an autonomy in realizing the function of institutional education management. Conclusion. However, since the implementation of educational autonomy, it turns out that its implementation has not gone as expected, instead the implementation of autonomy has created many problems, namely the high cost of education. Meanwhile, the meaning of educational autonomy actually implies democracy and social justice, meaning that education is carried out in a democratic manner so that the expected goals can be realized and education is intended for the benefit of the community, in accordance with the ideals of the nation in educating the nation.

Abstract

Background. Interpersonal communication is a process of human activities consisting of two or more people who exchange information, knowledge, thoughts in order to arouse each other's participation. Purpose. herefore, this study aims to determine the identification of Big Five Factors Of Personality to determine the interpersonal communication of junior / senior high school students in Tarakan City.   Method. Survey was applied in this research which data had been analyzed by path analysis after all variables put into a correlational matrix. Results. Through the big five personality theory, there are five dimensions of personality, namely openness (O), conscientiousness (C), extroversion (E), agreeableness (A), neuroticism (N), and can be known to have a significant relationship with interpersonal communication. As the results of research conducted by previous researchers, namely the personality types of extraversion, agreeableness, and oppression have a significant relationship with interpersonal communication. While conscientiousness and neuroticism personality types have no relationship with interpersonal communication. Conclusion. Therefore, this study aims to determine the identification of Big Five Factors Of Personality to determine the interpersonal communication of junior / senior high school students in Tarakan City. Based on the output table on data analysis, it can be seen that the coefficient of determination or R Square is 0.056 or equal to 5.6%, meaning that the variables Opennes to experience, neuroticism, agdreebleness, conscientiousness, extraversion affect interpersonal communication by 5.6%, the rest is influenced by other variables outside the regression equation that are not studied.

Abstract

Background. One of the factors that influence the success of the implementation of learning programs is the teacher, the teacher is believed to be one of the dominant factors that determine the level of student success in achieving results in the learning process Purpose. This study aims to develop Edpuzzle as an interactive media that matches the eligibility criteria of media and materials to improve students' muraja'ah abilities. Method. This type of research is R&D with a 4D development model whose stages are. Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. Results. Overall, the interactive learning video media product tawaasilul aayat method in middle class tahfizh subjects at SMPs IT Tahfizh Adzikra Padang is "Very Valid" so it deserves to be tested in tahfizh learning, especially in the field of muraja'ah. Conclusion. Based on the data processing process carried out, this study showed the results obtained by 3.62 or 72.3% of the first stage of media experts with the category "Valid", 4.15 or 83% of the second media experts of the first stage with the category "Very Valid".

Abstract

Background. The issue in literary appreciation writing for UMM students of Indonesian Language Education needs an appropriate response. There are two causes Involved: technical and psychological Issues. Purpose. Despite adequate writing knowledge and skill, they experience challenges in writing literary appreciation. Method. Thus, it requires a comprehensive reconstruction of a new theory of clinical psycho-pragmatism, originating from psycholinguistics and clinical pragmatics, to address the issue. Results. The clinical psychopragmatic theory can be helpful as a research approach and potentially be the base of a new theory through knowledge reconstruction comprising ontologism, axiology, and epistemology. Conclusion. Thus, this theory, as a transdisciplinary theory, is more specific compared to a combination of psycholinguistics and clinical pragmatics.
