Abstract

Love is an inseparable part of human life, because humans will always need love in any case to continue life, because love is human nature. The intensity of love felt will vary, depending on the person who feels it and to whom the love is. Functions as a source of positive energy but can also cause bad things if misunderstood. This research aims to understand the semiosis of love symbols in the novel "Zuhūr Taʾkuluhā al-Nār" by Amir Tag Elsir using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic approach. This research connects the results with Sternberg's love triangle theory. The method used is analytical descriptive qualitative research. The research results identified 25 data that reflect six love symbols: liking, infatuation love, empty love, romantic love, companionate love, and fatuous love.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the principal's policy in improving the achievement of class VI students at Tenau Kupang Elementary School. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the main aim of the principal's policy is to produce graduates who are able to compete at the secondary education level, have high values ​​and dedication, and are ready to enter the world of work. Challenges faced include limited access to technology and school infrastructure. The strategies implemented include disseminating policies to teachers, parents and students, effective communication, evaluating teacher performance, and efforts to overcome educational inequalities. In conclusion, the success of school principal policies in improving student achievement depends on effective collaboration between the school, parents and community, as well as the ability to overcome internal and external challenges.

Abstract

Literary works in the form of songs are a form of literary work that has lyrics or can be said to be poetry. When learning Indonesian, students do not understand the similarities between songs and poetry. This research aims to determine the semantic meaning of songs which are related to the physical structure of poetry and can be understood in learning Indonesian in poetry texts. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative method. The techniques used in this research are note-taking and research techniques. The aim of this technique is to achieve a deep understanding of the meaning of the song "Bertaut" by studying the poetic text. The researcher conducted the research in stages, (1) understanding the content of the song lyrics, (2) including the song lyrics completely and completely, (3) analyzing some of the meanings of words related to the physical structure of the poem in the song lyrics, (3) explaining the results of the analysis, (4) summarizing the results of the analysis. The results of the research are that the structural similarities between the two are found in the meaning of the words and the language styles used such as hyperbole and connotation.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of using the TikTok application as a medium for learning Indonesian on increasing student learning motivation. TikTok, as a social media platform that is popular among teenagers, offers various features that can be utilized to create interesting and interactive learning content. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with literature studies accompanied by case studies. The additional technique for collecting this data uses a questionnaire. Data was collected for analysis using qualitative descriptive techniques. The research results show that using TikTok as a learning medium significantly increases students' learning motivation compared to conventional methods. These findings indicate that the integration of social media technology in the learning process can be an effective strategy for increasing student engagement and motivation in learning Indonesian.

Abstract

Kota Jepara memiliki banyak pantai, salah satunya adalah teluk Awur. Tujuan dari analisis data ini adalah untuk menyelidiki nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam kumpulan cerita rakyat teluk awur serta hubungannya dengan kota Jepara. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan. memfokuskan pada data yang mengandung nilai sosial yang relevan dan ada dalam cerita rakyat teluk awur.Buku Cerita Rakyat Pesisir Timur berisi cerita rakyat. Metode pengumpulan data digunakan untuk mendokumentasikan asal usul teluk awur di buku cerita. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis Milles Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada nilai sosial dalam asal-usul legenda teluk awur di kota Jepara.

Abstract

This discussion examines the themes and values ​​contained in classical Malay literary works focusing on several main works such as "Hikayat Hang Tuah", Hikayat Raja Pasai", "Hikayat Abduallah". The purpose of this writing is to identify and analyze main themes, such as heroic love, morality, religion and socio-politics, as well as values ​​that include moral, social, cultural and religious. Analysis is carried out to understand the relationship between themes and values ​​and the historical and cultural context of the time. In this article we will compare the themes and values ​​between the works to find significant similarities and differences. Classical Malay literary works not only function as entertainment, but classical Malay literary works also serve as ethical and moral guidelines that are relevant today. These works reflect the classical Malay community's view of life and provide an important contribution to the moral and cultural identity of the Malay community. This discussion emphasizes the importance of understanding and preserving the heritage of classical Malay literature to create insight into the culture and history of the archipelago.

Abstract

In a child's life, guardians are the primary environment for them to acquire dialect assets additionally from the social environment. The communication that exists between children and guardians is accepted to have a extraordinary impact on dialect advancement in children, where the part of guardians is about how they give incitement to children within the shape of instructing them based on their children's age stages, and teaching children around all things related to dialect improvement. Within the talk of this article, a subjective strategy is utilized. This article points to clarify how the part of guardians in each arrange of dialect development in children is. Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to examine and analyze the several instances in which the characters in the movie entitled "The School of Rock" flouted politeness maxims. Additionally, this research aimed to ascertain the underlying motivations of the characters in flouting the maxims, based on the context of situation. The documentation method was applied in this research to gather data that was methodically observed and documented. Due to its reliance on narrative description and without any numerical form, this research applied a descriptive qualitative methodology. The data, which was collected and consisted of utterances that violated maxims, was examined using several techniques. Based on the analysis, 23 data were found. 1 data of flouting generosity maxim, 12 data of flouting approbation maxim, 1 data of flouting modesty maxim, 4 data of flouting agreement maxim, 3 data of flouting sympathy maxim, which means the characters flouted all types of politeness principles maxims. The analysis of characters flouting maxims indicates that the motivations behind their actions vary depending on the context of situation. Most of the situations based on the context in the movie is dispraising to others, because of this, the characters mostly flouted approbation maxim.

Abstract

This research examines the role of cultural motifs in Malay folklore and their impact on people's cultural identity. Malay folklore, with motifs such as mythological symbols, legendary figures, and traditional values, not only entertains but also strengthens the recognition and maintenance of cultural identity. Through a qualitative approach that combines text analysis and in-depth interviews, this research explores how these cultural motifs influence the construction of cultural identity, as well as their role in maintaining and developing local cultural heritage. The findings of this research highlight the importance of folklore in strengthening people's social and spiritual connections with their cultural environment.

Abstract

Malay literature is written work originating from Malay culture and traditions. Malay literature has a long history that reflects the culture, religion and social life of Malay society. Literature plays an important role in shaping the character of a country which can create a beautiful impression on those who see it. Malay literature which is based on values ​​not only colors the lives of nobles, but also among ordinary people. Malay culture contains morals that greatly contribute to the formation of Indonesian society. In the study of Malay literature, there are 2 aspects that must be studied and instilled in the nation's future generations, namely classical Malay literary works and modern literary works. So that Malay culture is not lost over time.
