Abstract

The research design a split AC cooling system simulator aims to simulate the real working system and find out the achievements that occur in the split AC system, for that it is necessary to test the engine laboratory of Qomaruddin University as a supporter of the achievement of a machine and add insight for students who take part in the practice college of machine performance. The discussion in this design there is a calculation of the cooling load, the impact of refrigeration, refrigerant flow rate, power requirements and achievement coefficients. The materials used to design the cooling system simulator room are square tube (holo iron), 10mm gypsum board, and 100 watt bulbs. The equipment used is a split unit 1/3 PK air conditioner, refrigerant used R22, thermometer, pressure gauge, amper meter pliers, cables and O switches. The method used at this design stage includes the design of the cooling system simulator, the design of the material to be used. use and installation of the air conditioner. Retrieval of test data is done with time variants of 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes and 20 minutes at the remote control temperature 16c. The test results are analyzed with Microsoft Excel and the results of the analysis are displayed in graphical form.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of museums as a source of learning in the Museology course at the Islamic University of North Sumatra (UISU). With a descriptive qualitative approach, this study collects data through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The focus of the research lies in how museums are used to support theoretical and practical learning, the role of lecturers as facilitators, and students' perceptions of museum-based learning experiences. The results of the study show that the museum is used as a learning laboratory with activities such as educational visits, curatorial analysis, and collection cataloging practices. This learning allows students to relate theory to real-life experience, which enhances their understanding of museum management concepts. Lecturers play an active role as planners, discussion facilitators, and liaisons between universities and museums. Meanwhile, students stated that museum-based learning provides an exciting, in-depth experience and strengthens practical skills. However, this study also found several challenges, such as limited access, inadequate museum facilities, and suboptimal coordination between the campus and the museum. This study recommends increasing cooperation between universities and museums, improving museum facilities, and integrating digital technology to support distance learning. Museums have proven to play a strategic role not only as a place for cultural preservation, but also as a learning resource that supports the development of students' academic and professional competencies. In conclusion, the use of museums in Museology courses has a significant positive impact, although it requires continuous innovation and support to overcome existing challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity, measured by the Quick Ratio (QR) and Current Ratio (CR), and solvency, measured by the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), on stock prices through profitability as a mediating variable, which is measured by the Return on Asset Ratio (ROA) and Return on Equity Ratio (ROE). The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from Annual Reports. The sample consists of nine telecommunications subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that meet the research criteria, covering the period from 2019 to 2023 (five years), resulting in 45 observations. This study utilizes SmartPLS 3 as the analytical tool and employs a quantitative research method. The findings of this study indicate that liquidity has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Solvency has no effect on profitability or stock prices. Liquidity does not effect stock prices. Profitability does not effect stock prices. Furthermore, liquidity does not effect stock prices through profitability, and solvency does not effect stock prices through profitability.

Abstract

This study, titled "The Historical Development of the Lembak Clan from 1950 to 1984", aims to examine the changes in traditional governance structures, the socio-economic conditions of the clan community, and the impact of national policy on local systems during the period of 19501984. The research employs a historical method, including heuristic steps, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data were collected through literature review and interviews. The study uses political, economic, social, and anthropological approaches. The findings reveal that the Lembak Clan was governed by a et al , who held executive, legislative, and judicial powers. In practice, the system also regulated the social, economic, and cultural life of the community, including traditions such as marhaba, sedekah bedusun, and communal work (gotong royong). Major changes occurred with the implementation of Law No. 5 of 1979, which abolished the marga system and replaced it with a village-based administration. This led to institutional restructuring, shifts in the roles of traditional leaders, and the loss of local authority over resource management. Nevertheless, some traditions and cultural values of the Lembak people have been preserved through the continued role of customary leaders.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of the Operational Efficiency Ratio (BOPO) and Return on Assets (ROA) on credit distribution at Bank Muamalat Indonesia (2018-2023) using a quantitative approach with secondary data from annual financial reports. The analytical methods include descriptive analysis and linear regression with classical assumption testing. The results indicate that high BOPO levels (averaging 98.42%) negatively affect credit distribution, except in 2022 when a BOPO reduction to 96.62% led to a 4.3% increase in credit. Low ROA (0.1%) also demonstrated positive effects, where an ROA increase to 0.09% in 2022 similarly contributed to 4.3% credit growth. These findings underscore the critical importance of operational efficiency and profitability in the credit distribution performance of Islamic banking institutions. Keywords : BOPO (Operating Expense to Operating Income Ratio), ROA (Return on Assets),Financing.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify and understand the influence of work stress and compensation on turnover. This research applies a quantitative approach with a population of 119 employees. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a total of 57 respondents. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed using Google Form. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method using SmartPLS 4.0 software. In PLS there are two types of models explained, namely the outer model and the inner model. The research results show that work stress has a negative influence on turnover, while compensation has a positive influence on turnover. Apart from that, simultaneously, work stress and compensation have a positive effect on turnover
