Abstract

Village fund management has become a crucial issue in Indonesia's rural development agenda, particularly following the enactment of Law No. 3 of 2024 on Village Fund Management, which mandates transparent and accountable financial governance. However, implementation challenges persist, including delayed financial reporting, limited transparency, and suspected fund misuse, particularly in South Ponrang District. This study aims to comprehensively examine the influence of village apparatus training, technology facility availability, and government assistance on village fund management accountability using a quantitative approach. The research employed an associative-causal design with a saturated sampling technique, involving 58 respondents comprising village heads, secretaries, treasurers, and staff involved in village financial management in South Ponrang District, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination. The findings reveal that technology facility availability and government assistance have significant positive effects on village fund management accountability, while village apparatus training shows no significant influence. The regression model explains 96.4% of accountability variations with an R value of 0.964. The study concludes that investment in technological infrastructure such as computers, Siskeudes applications, and internet access, combined with intensive government assistance programs, are key factors in enhancing transparency and accountability in village fund management, while formal training programs require substantial evaluation and improvement

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are a key competency of the 21st century that needs to be developed not only in formal education but also in non-formal education. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of various innovative learning strategies in developing critical thinking skills and to evaluate their relevance in the context of non-formal education. Using a narrative literature review approach, twelve relevant scientific articles were analyzed thematically. The synthesis results show that approaches such as Teaching Case, Self-Organized Learning Environment (SOLE), blended learning, and the integration of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) are consistently able to improve critical thinking indicators, including interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. These approaches are considered relevant and applicable in non-formal education because they are contextual, flexible, and support independent and collaborative learning. This study recommends strengthening the capacity of non-formal facilitators and adapting reflective and technology-based learning strategies to create a learning environment that supports the formation of critical and empowered learners.

Abstract

Service quality is one of the key factors in determining customer satisfaction in banking. The phenomenon of customer complaints about the service at Bank BRI Unit Ciwastra Bandung highlights the need for an evaluation of the quality of services provided. This study aims to analyze the gap between customer expectations and perceptions of service quality using the SERVQUAL method. The research is quantitative and descriptive, with a sample size of 200 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through a questionnaire based on the five SERVQUAL dimensions: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy, and were analyzed by calculating the gap between perceptions and expectations. The results show that all dimensions experienced a negative gap, with the reliability dimension showing the largest gap (-43.89%) and the empathy dimension showing the smallest gap (-44.19%). These findings indicate that the service at Bank BRI Unit Ciwastra does not fully meet customer expectations, particularly in terms of reliability and physical facilities. Therefore, it is recommended that Bank BRI Unit Ciwastra undertake comprehensive improvements, including enhancing facilities, training staff, and improving the service system to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Abstract

This study analyzes the competency of agricultural extension workers and the factors influencing the success of the READSI (Rural Empowerment and Agricultural Development Scaling Up Initiative) Program in increasing the income of rice farmers in Lasusua District, North Kolaka Regency. The competencies of extension workers studied include technical knowledge, communication skills, attitudes and work ethics, facilitation skills, and the use of information technology. Data were obtained through a survey of respondent farmers, then analyzed using multiple linear regression with the classical assumption test, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R). The results showed that simultaneously the five variables of extension worker competency had a significant effect on activities to increase farmer income (F = 9.207; Sig. 0.000). Partially, communication skills, attitudes and work ethics, and facilitation skills had a significant positive effect, while technical knowledge and the use of information technology had no significant effect. The R value of 0.775 indicates that 77.5% of the variation in farmer income can be explained by extension worker competency, while 22.5% is influenced by other factors outside the model, such as policy, market access, and infrastructure. These findings emphasize the importance of improving the competency of extension workers, particularly in communication, work ethics, and facilitation skills. They also highlight the need for field mentoring and policy support to optimize the application of agricultural technology and innovation to increase rice farmer incomes in North Kolaka Regency.

Abstract

Indonesia is known for its social diversity, which includes ethnicities, cultures, religions, and customs. The principle of "Bhineka Tunggal Ika" reflects the spirit of unity in diversity, despite significant differences. Cultural changes in Indonesia are influenced by globalization, which accelerates shifts in traditions, especially among the younger generation, particularly Indonesian children living abroad. These children often struggle to understand Indonesian culture due to limited exposure to cultural education. This study aims to explore how Dongklak Dance learning influences students' perceptions of Indonesian culture at the Indonesian School of Kuala Lumpur (SIKL). Dongklak Dance, originating from East Java, embodies values of cooperation, togetherness, and mutual assistance, and is expected to introduce students to the richness of Indonesian culture and strengthen their emotional connection to their cultural identity. The results of the study indicate that Dongklak Dance learning has a positive impact on students' perceptions of Indonesian culture, enhancing their pride and understanding of national traditions.
