Abstract

Stock prices in Indonesia’s mining sector are strongly influenced by macroeconomic factors, particularly the exchange rate of the Indonesian rupiah against the United States dollar (USD/IDR) and the benchmark interest rate set by Bank Indonesia (the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate). Exchange rate fluctuations have the potential to increase foreign exchange risk for export-oriented mining companies, while changes in interest rates can affect the cost of capital and investment decisions. This study aims to analyze the impact of exchange rate and interest rate fluctuations on the stock prices of mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used consist of monthly secondary data for the period 2020–2024 obtained from Bank Indonesia, the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and Statistics Indonesia. The research method employed is multiple linear regression with classical assumption tests to examine the relationship between the independent variables (exchange rate and interest rate) and the dependent variable (mining sector stock prices). The results of this study are expected to provide a theoretical contribution to the development of capital market literature, as well as practical considerations for investors and policymakers in formulating investment strategies in the mining sector.

Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology necessitates a reflective foundation to ensure that their application remains aligned with humanistic and religious values, particularly in the practice of Islamic da‘wah. In this context, the philosophy of science plays a strategic role as a critical, reflective, and systematic framework for examining and developing da‘wah. This study aims to conceptually analyze the definition of the philosophy of da‘wah, the intellectual foundations underlying its emergence, the philosophical principles that support it, and the significance of philosophy in the development of Islamic da‘wah. This research employs a qualitative approach through library research, involving a critical analysis of relevant literature in the fields of philosophy of science and Islamic da‘wah. The findings indicate that the philosophy of da‘wah originates from the Qur’anic encouragement to employ reason, dialogue, and rational reflection, as well as from the scholarly need to position da‘wah as a scientific discipline with clear ontological, epistemological, and axiological foundations. The philosophy of da‘wah plays a vital role in strengthening the rational, methodological, and ethical dimensions of da‘wah, while also enhancing the capacity of preachers (da‘i) to respond to contemporary social challenges. Thus, the integration of the philosophy of science into Islamic da‘wah not only reinforces its theoretical and methodological aspects but also renders da‘wah more humanistic, contextual, adaptive, and oriented toward the welfare of society.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a crucial foundation for the academic success of elementary school students, yet low motivation remains a primary challenge in educational practice. Although the behavioristic approach through reinforcement offers a practical solution, empirical findings on its effectiveness show inconsistencies, particularly in differentiating its influence on intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. This study aims to synthesize empirical findings on the influence of reinforcement on the learning motivation of elementary school students. The method used is a systematic literature review of seven articles from the Google Scholar and Sage Publications databases that met the inclusion criteria. The synthesis results indicate that reinforcement is a fundamental factor that significantly shapes behavior and enhances motivation. Positive reinforcement, such as praise, is proven effective in strengthening perceived competence, whereas criticism has the potential to damage learning interest. Its effectiveness is highly dependent on crucial factors such as timing, consistency, and appropriateness to student characteristics. This study confirms that reinforcement, when applied strategically and wisely, is an applicable and relevant tool for teachers to create a supportive learning environment that fosters the development of student motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze spelling errors in Megawati Soekarnoputri's political speech at the 6th Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) Congress. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, using speech manuscripts as data sources accessed through the official PDI-P website for East Java. The research data consists of linguistic units in the speech manuscript containing spelling errors. Data collection was conducted through documentation using reading and note-taking techniques, while data analysis was conducted by identifying, classifying, and describing spelling errors based on the Indonesian Spelling Rules (EYD V) and the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI). The results showed that 14 spelling errors were found in the speech manuscript. The spelling errors found included the use of non-standard words, typos, omissions, additions, and word separation errors. These findings indicate that the application of standard Indonesian spelling in political speeches still needs improvement to comply with applicable linguistic standards.

Abstract

The Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) Optimization Program is one of the local government’s efforts to increase tax revenue and support regional development. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, particularly regarding the accuracy of tax targeting and collection. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the PBB-P2 Optimization Program in Temu Village, Prambon District, Sidoarjo Regency, focusing on the accuracy of tax object and subject data, the role of the Tax Assessment Compilation List (DHKP), and its impact on tax revenue realization. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Research informants included village government officials, tax officers, and taxpayers. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the PBB-P2 Optimization Program in Temu Village has been implemented in accordance with applicable regulations. However, inaccuracies in tax targeting persist due to the lack of optimal updating and validation of tax object and subject data. Issues such as unseparated tax objects, untransferred ownership names, and unrecorded physical changes of land and buildings contribute to high levels of PBB-P2 arrears. The utilization of DHKP data and spatial mapping reveals that tax arrears are widely distributed and structural in nature. In conclusion, the optimization of PBB-P2 is not solely dependent on normative target setting but requires strengthened field-based data collection, continuous administrative validation, and the integration of information technology to improve targeting accuracy and tax collection effectiveness.

Abstract

This study examines the human resource governance of the Serang City Government in managing the website of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD), which plays a crucial role in public information disclosure. The urgency of this research arose due to the inactivity of many OPD websites, hindering transparency and accountability. This study uses Sedarmayanti's Good Governance theory as the basis for analysis, encompassing participation, transparency, accountability, effectiveness, and law enforcement. The research method used was qualitative with a phenomenological approach to explore the experiences of website managers and the public. The results indicate that the main obstacles lie in human resource capacity, multiple tasks, minimal training, and weak coordination.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of customer experience and perceived value on tourist satisfaction among users of the Sidoarjo City Tour Bus as a form of public tourism transportation service. The Sidoarjo City Tour Bus represents a regional government service innovation intended to support tourism development while improving urban tourism accessibility. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving tourists who used the Sidoarjo City Tour Bus. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 99 respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that customer experience does not have a significant effect on tourist satisfaction, suggesting that the experiences perceived by users are still subjective and not consistently felt by all service users. In contrast, perceived value has a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction, making it the most dominant variable in influencing satisfaction among Sidoarjo City Tour Bus users. These findings indicate that tourist satisfaction is more strongly determined by perceptions of benefits, service quality, and the suitability between sacrifices made and benefits received rather than by emotional experience alone. Therefore, this study recommends that the management of the Sidoarjo City Tour Bus and the local government enhance service value through improvements in facilities, information systems and registration processes, as well as optimization of comfort and schedule certainty. These efforts are important to increase tourist satisfaction and to support sustainable tourism development in Sidoarjo Regency.

Abstract

Avicenna’s philosophical thought occupies an important position in the development of Islamic philosophy, particularly in the fields of metaphysics and the nature of knowledge. Three main concepts that form the foundation of his philosophy are emanation, the soul, and al-wujūd (being), which are employed to explain the relationship between God, the universe, and human beings in a rational and systematic manner. This study aims to analyze Avicenna’s philosophical thought by highlighting the concept of emanation as a theory of the origin of existence, the concept of the soul in understanding human nature, and the concept of al-wujūd as the ontological basis of his philosophy. This research adopts a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data are collected from primary sources in the form of Avicenna’s major works and secondary sources such as relevant books and scholarly journal articles. Data analysis is conducted using a descriptive-analytical method to examine the interrelationship and characteristics of these three concepts within the framework of Islamic philosophy. The findings indicate that Avicenna successfully developed an integrative philosophical system that harmonizes philosophical rationality with Islamic values, thereby making a significant contribution to the development of the Islamic intellectual tradition and subsequent philosophical thought.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of style simulation and sign consumption in the “Dress Well” trend on the TikTok platform, which is influenced by Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) in Jean Baudrillard's semiotic perspective. TikTok, as a digital visual medium, not only functions as an entertainment space but also as an arena for the production and reproduction of social signs that shape identity, prestige, and lifestyle standards. The “Dress Well” trend is represented through neat, aesthetic, and ideal fashion visuals, which are then constructed as symbols of social status. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing semiotic analysis methods to interpret the meaning of signs in TikTok video content, including visual elements, narratives, hashtags, and digital interactions such as likes and comments. The results show that FoMO acts as the primary driver compelling users to follow trends not based on functional needs, but rather for social recognition and digital identity legitimacy. Fashion consumption in the “Dress Well” trend is no longer oriented towards utility value, but towards sign value that creates simulation and hyperreality. TikTok content shapes a pseudo-reality that appears more real than everyday life, thereby normalizing symbolic consumption patterns. Thus, the “Dress Well” trend represents a practice of digital consumerism that reflects the logic of simulation and hyperreality in contemporary visual culture.

Abstract

The global energy crisis, characterized by high dependence on fossil fuels, has created not only a challenge of availability but also a threat to sustainability. Islam views this issue within the framework of humans as khalīfah fi al-ard, who are entrusted with the responsibility to manage and preserve the earth. This study aims to reconstruct Islamic law, particularly fiqh al-bi’ah, as a normative and ethical foundation for renewable energy development in the face of climate change and resource depletion. Using a normative qualitative method with approaches of ushul fiqh, maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah, and contemporary analysis, the research draws from primary sources such as the Qur’an, Hadith, fatwa, and international energy reports, as well as supporting literature. The findings reveal that the continued use of fossil energy aligns with the concepts of isrāf (wastefulness) and ifsād fi al-ard (corruption on earth), thus contradicting the ethical principles of Islam. Meanwhile, renewable energy represents a manifestation of maslahah (public benefit), ‘adl (justice across generations), and amanah (trust), which are fundamental Islamic values. The study concludes that reconstructing Islamic law through maqāṣid and legal maxims such as lā ḍarara wa lā ḍirār provides a solid theological and ethical basis to support the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. This reconstruction can be applied at individual, institutional, and policy levels, ensuring that the transition is not only technically feasible but also aligned with Islamic principles of sustainability.
