Abstract

Technology is a system used to market via social media in the current era of globalization. The socialization activity with the theme “The Role of Technology in Improving the Economy in Mojowatesrejo Village” was held on December 13, 2024 at the Mojowatesrejo Village hamlet hall. This socialization activity is carried out to teach the public about the role of digital technology, not only that, but also to carry out socialization and direct practice in using digital through social media. Business activities in Mojowatesrejo village include the agricultural, livestock and craft sectors. After learning about the important role of digital technology, people were very enthusiastic and began to actively use social media to promote their products.

Abstract

Drug abuse has become one of the most alarming social issues in Indonesia, particularly among the younger generation. This community service activity aims to enhance public awareness and understanding of the dangers of drug abuse through a socialization program conducted in Mojodowo Village, Kemlagi District, Mojokerto Regency. The methods employed include lectures, interactive discussions, and evaluations in the form of pre-tests and post-tests. The socialization materials cover the definition of drugs, their impact on health and society, and preventive measures that can be taken by the community. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants' understanding of drugs and the importance of preventing their misuse. This program positively influenced participants, especially the youth, by fostering collective awareness of the dangers of drug abuse and emphasizing the critical role of the community in creating a drug-free environment.

Abstract

Batik Mangklek MSME, located in Margosari Village, Kendal Regency, faces challenges in strengthening its visual identity and branding. These MSMEs need a logo design as a symbol of identity that can increase the attractiveness and differentiate the products in the market, especially in supporting online marketing. The objective of this activity is to design a logo that represents the cultural values and creativity of Batik Mangklek, which is expected to support their digital marketing strategy. The logo creation process involved surveys, interviews, and research on design trends and logo philosophies that match the characteristics of local batik. As a result, the logo successfully combines elements of local culture and creativity, with a philosophy that reflects the character of Batik Mangklek. The logo was handed over to Batik Mangklek MSMEs, along with usage guidelines on online promotional media and product packaging. In conclusion, the creation of this logo has a positive impact on strengthening the visual identity of Batik Mangklek MSMEs and increasing the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies, so that their products are more easily recognized and demanded by consumers.

Abstract

The Arabic language training using an interactive learning method at Majelis Darul Anwar Kampung Sukajaga aimed to enhance children’s vocabulary in Arabic, particularly concerning body parts (a'dho'ul jismi). The method emphasizes active involvement of children through games and participatory activities, such as the "Point to the Body Parts" game in Arabic. Observational results showed that most children had limited understanding of Arabic vocabulary prior to the training; however, after participating, they became more active and motivated to learn. Additionally, they were able to recall and apply the vocabulary in real-life situations. This training is expected to make a positive contribution to improving Arabic language learning among children and motivate them to further develop their Arabic skills. The sustainability of this program requires periodic evaluations and parental support to ensure consistent learning outside the classroom. Therefore, this training has the potential to strengthen children’s understanding of Arabic as part of the development of Islamic education.

Abstract

The Arabic language training on mufrodat at-ta'aruf was conducted at Majelis Darul Anwar, Kampung Sukajaga, Cihanjawar, Purwakarta to introduce basic vocabulary related to name, age, and home address to children. This training applied an interactive learning method, incorporating educational games, conversation exercises, and singing to create an engaging and effective learning environment. Prior to implementation, surveys, observations, permissions, and socialization with the community were conducted to ensure support and active participation from both children and their parents. The results indicate that interactive methods significantly enhance children's understanding and interest in learning Arabic. Children found it easier to memorize vocabulary through activities involving direct interaction and repeated practice. Additionally, community support, particularly from the majelis owner and parents, played a crucial role in the training's success. However, it was observed that differences in children's educational backgrounds influenced their comprehension levels, highlighting the need for continuous training. This training serves as a foundation for children to familiarize themselves with Arabic from an early age. For future improvements, it is recommended to utilize more diverse learning media, conduct training regularly, and collaborate with local educational institutions.

Abstract

The The Arabic language training on mufrodat al-‘adad (numbers 1-10) at Majelis Darul Anwar, Kampung Sukajaga, Cihanjawar utilized an interactive learning method, including singing and educational games, to enhance children's understanding. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, the training followed stages of observation, licensing, socialization, implementation, and evaluation. The results indicate that this approach effectively helps children recognize numbers 1-10 in Arabic more easily and enjoyably. The main challenge was the differences in children's educational backgrounds, requiring varied learning media and continuous training. It is recommended to expand the material scope and establish collaboration with local educational institutions to support program sustainability.

Abstract

The Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah (KIP-K) is a scholarship program provided by the government for high school graduates who excel academically but are economically disadvantaged and unable to continue their studies at university. The KIP-K program aims to increase opportunities for students to pursue higher education by providing monthly living expenses and tuition fees for students who meet the eligibility criteria. Through KIP-K, it is expected to create a competitive and well-educated generation of future leaders. In North Maluku Province, particularly in Malifut, North Halmahera Regency, many students still lack information about the KIP-K scholarship. Therefore, this community service activity aimed to provide insights into the importance of pursuing education at the university level and how underprivileged students can apply for the KIP-K scholarship. This activity was carried out at SMAN 4 Halmahera Utara and SMKN 2 Halmahera Utara. As a result of this socialization, students successfully created their own accounts and registered for the KIP-K scholarship. It is hoped that through this program, students will take advantage of higher education opportunities through KIP-K and be able to continue their studies and achieve their goals.

Abstract

Konsep fisika, media dan inovasi pembelajaran serta teknologi merupakan hal yang tidak terpisahkan dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran fisika. Pemanfaatan teknologi pada proses pembelajaran merupakan hal mutlak yang harus dilakukan, terutama teknologi berbasis komputer dengan berbagai aplikasi simulasinya. PhET Simulation merupakan salah satu bentuk aplikasi simulasi yang berisikan banyak simulasi dengan topik materi fisika sehingga penting untuk dikenalkan pada mahasiswa fisika. Pengenalan tersebut bertujuan agar mahasiswa fisika dapat menerapkan berbagai topik materi yang dipelajari dalam bentuk simulasi praktikum maupun eksperimen sehingga dapat memahami konsep fisika yang dipelajari. Hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep fisika dapat ditingkatkan melalui bantuan PhET Simulation sebagai alternatif media pembelajarannya.

Abstract

This community service aims to strengthen online teaching skills and professional ethics among students of the English Education Department at IAIN Palangka Raya, particularly within the Microteaching practice (Praktik Mengajar I). Many students still lack a clear understanding of ethical standards in online learning and have limited experience teaching via digital platforms. In the context of 21st-century education, online teaching competencies are essential complements to conventional pedagogical skills. The practice employed mentoring and simulation methods. Mentoring was conducted through direct supervision during online teaching practices, while simulations were used to train students in responding to realistic virtual teaching scenarios. The activity was carried out in two stages: delivery of case-based materials on teaching ethics through interactive discussions, and 15-minute online teaching practices by each student, followed by feedback and reflection sessions. The results indicated active student participation in discussions and a developing ability to design and deliver online instruction in a communicative manner. This program contributes to equipping future English teachers with pedagogical readiness relevant to the challenges of distance education in the digital era
