Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out: the principal's policy planning in realizing the vision and mission, evaluation of the principal's policies in realizing the vision and mission. The research methodology uses qualitative research methods, the approach used in this research uses observation, interviews and documentation. The informant in this research was the principal at the school. Data analysis in this research uses data reduction, data presentation and refinement. The data validity technique in this research uses data credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests. Based on the research that the researcher has carried out, which has been implemented, the evaluation of the school principal's policy can be seen from the planning/formulation process which has been implemented well.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in increasing the activeness and understanding of students in Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMP IT Ar-Ridha Pantai Cermin. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a field approach. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation, and using Miles and Huberman data analysis techniques. The research subjects included Islamic Religion teachers and class VIII students. The results showed that the application of PBL succeeded in increasing the activeness and enthusiasm of students, reducing boredom, and deepening understanding of the material through solving problems relevant to everyday life. Supporting factors for the implementation of PBL include the availability of adequate learning resources and the active involvement of students, while inhibiting factors include limited time and learning facilities. PBL implementation also involves five main stages, namely orientation to the problem, organising students, guiding investigation, presenting results, and evaluation.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative research approach design with a qualitative descriptive research type. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. The sources for this research were the principal, homeroom teacher, students, and Nahwu and Shorof teachers of the Ulya class at the Fathul Ulum Islamic boarding school in Jombang.The research method used is qualitative research. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques, researchers use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. To test the validity of the data, researchers used source triangulation.The results of the research show that, the implementation of power point learning in increasing the reading of the yellow book at the Fathul Ulum Jomba Islamic Boarding School: 1) The implementation of power point learning in increasing the reading of the yellow book at the Fathul Ulum Islamic Boarding School is creating learning tools, adjusting the theme or learning material, implementing the learning power points, and evaluating power point learning; 2) The implication of power point learning in increasing the reading of the yellow book at the Fathul Ulum Diwek Jombang Islamic boarding school is that there is a change in students' understanding and student involvement in the sense that students are actively involved and more enthusiastic in learning.

Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, technology has influenced various aspects of life, including Islamic education, especially in Islamic boarding schools. One of the traditional learning methods that has undergone adaptation is the talaqqi method, namely a method of teaching the Koran that involves direct interaction between teachers and students. Digital-based talaqqi is an innovative solution to face geographical challenges and time constraints, as well as answering the need for more flexible learning. This article aims to explore the implementation of digital talaqqi in Islamic boarding schools, its benefits for teaching the Al-Qur'an, as well as the challenges faced in its implementation. This research was conducted using a field study method at the Nurul Iman Jambi Islamic boarding school which has adopted digital-based talaqqi, involving interviews with teachers, students and Islamic boarding school managers. The research results show that digital talaqqi facilitates access to learning for students outside the Islamic boarding school and increases the flexibility of study time. However, this research also found a number of challenges, such as limited internet access in rural areas, lack of direct interaction between teachers and students, as well as technical obstacles that often hamper the learning process. Overall, digital talaqqi offers great opportunities in improving the quality and accessibility of Al learning -Qur'an in Islamic boarding schools, although efforts are still needed to overcome the various challenges that arise in its implementation. With continued technological development, digital-based talaqqi methods can become an important part of Islamic education in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of students in reading and writing the Quran at MTs Darul Arafah. The method used is field research with a qualitative approach, involving research subjects in the form of 19 students in class VIII, consisting of 10 male students and 9 female students. Data collection was carried out through tests, interviews, documentation, and observation, with assessment indicators including the accuracy of pronunciation of makharijul letters, the rules of tajweed science, and the length of short readings. The results showed that students' ability to read the Quran with makharijul huruf reached an average score of 75.6, which is included in the good category. The ability to read the Quran based on tajweed rules showed better results with an average of 80.3, including the excellent category. In addition, the ability of students to read the Quran by paying attention to the short length of the recitation also showed similar results, with an average score of 80.3, categorized as very good. This study indicates that despite challenges in reading and writing the Quran, overall, learners at MTs Darul Arafah show significant progress in important aspects of Quran learning. The findings are expected to provide insights for the development of curriculum and teaching methods for reading and writing the Quran in madrasahs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) How is the library management system in MTs Negeri 2 Medan, 2) What are the interests of students in MTs Negeri 2 Medan, 3) What are the obstacles and obstacles of the library management in increasing students' interest in reading at MTs Negeri 2 Medan. The research design used in this study is Qualitative with a case study approach. The information in this study is the Head of the Library and library staff. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis used is data analysis from Miles & Huberman which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, while the validity of the data validity guarantor is carried out by focusing on trust, distraction, dependence, and certainty. The results of this study show that: 1) the management function applied to the library is quite good, but in the future it will continue to be updated and developed, 2) the reading interest of students at MTs Negeri 2 Medan is quite high, they are able to find new things just by reading books in the school library, 3) The obstacles faced by the library are not too difficult, but should not be left unchecked. The library will always update the library management system so that students do not get bored of going to the library to learn and look for new things. The low interest in reading among students is due to technological advances and the misuse of technology. This is due to the lack of supervision from parents over their children which causes their children to always play with electronic devices and abandon positive activities such as reading books.

Abstract

This thesis was carried out with the aim of finding out if there is anything significant that affects the recitation method on the learning motivation of students in learning the Qur'an Hadith in grade IV MIN Medan Tembung. From the results of the research on the influence of the recitation method on the motivation to learn the Qur'an Hadith, it can be seen that the recitation method has a role in determining the motivation/motivation of students in learning. This study uses a quantitative approach method. The object of this research is grade IV students of MIN Medan Tembung. The subject of this research is the influence of the recitation method on student learning motivation. The data collection techniques in this study are observatory, documentation, and questionnaire methods. Questionnaire as the main technique in data collection in this study, in determining the number of samples using the Proportional Startified Random Sampling technique, with the number of research subjects being 111 and samples being 32. The data analysis technique used is a simple linear regression technique. The results of this study showed that there was a significant influence between variable X (Reciprocation Method) on variable Y (Learning Motivation) of 0.890 (89.0%). This means that the recitation method is an important factor in students' motivation to learn. Hopefully this study can be a better way to increase students' motivation to learn.

Abstract

This study discusses the effects of pornographic content on brain and mental health from an Islamic perspective, by reviewing various scientific literature and the opinions of scholars. From a neurological perspective, pornography causes changes in brain structure, especially in areas that regulate self-control and decision-making, which are similar to the effects of addiction to addictive substances. In addition, impaired short-term memory function and decreased ability to focus are also common effects of pornography consumption. From a psychological perspective, continuous exposure to pornography increases the risk of depression, anxiety, and lowers self-esteem and satisfaction in interpersonal relationships. From an Islamic perspective, the majority of scholars consider pornography to be a prohibited behavior (haram) because it contradicts the principles of morality and self-purity. Pornography is seen as damaging a person's morals and spirituality, as well as disrupting the harmony of social relationships, especially in the context of marriage. Although there is a moderate view that acknowledges that the effects of pornography can vary, the majority of Islamic views agree that pornography consumption has more detrimental effects than benefits. Thus, from both a health and Islamic perspective, pornography is considered harmful to mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, and should be avoided in order to maintain morality and brain health.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how big the role of teacher perceptions regarding school principal leadership is. The research that has been carried out by researchers is entitled; "Teachers' Perceptions of the Principal's Leadership Role aims to find out: 1) Teachers' Perceptions of the Principal's Leadership Role at Bina Taruna Medan Private Middle School, and 2) What are the teachers' expectations of the leadership system implemented at Bina Taruna Medan Private Middle School. The research design used by the researcher in completing this research is Qualitative with a Phenomenological approach. All information obtained by the researcher is by means of Observation, Interview, and Documentation Study. The researcher interviewed several teachers who taught compulsory subjects at Bina Taruna Private Junior High School in Medan. The results of the research show that: 1) The principal has a very important role in the learning activities in the Bina Taruna Medan Private Junior High School, 2) The principal works with the teaching teachers to improve the learning system effectively and efficiently, 3) The teachers hope that everything that has been considered good must be improved again in order to create competent graduates. The leadership role of the principal plays a very important role in fostering effective education activities. This must also be combined with the cooperation between the Principal and the teachers at the Bina Taruna Medan Private Junior High School.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology and digitalization in the disruptive era has brought major changes in various sectors, including Islamic preaching. Islamic preaching institutions now have to face new challenges by innovating in their approach to preaching and developing entrepreneurial products to support their operational continuity. This article aims to explore how Islamic preaching institutions can utilize innovation and entrepreneurship to face the disruptive era. This study uses a qualitative method through literature study. Researchers use library data sources to collect data and information on the topic of entrepreneurship and Islamic preaching. The data sources collected include books, articles, and various journals related to the topic. The results of the study show that Islamic preaching institutions that are able to adapt to technological innovation and entrepreneurship have succeeded in maintaining their existence and expanding the reach of Islamic preaching.
