Abstract

Learning outcomes are actual achievements displayed by children. Learning outcomes are abilities obtained after going through learning activities. In general, factors that can influence student learning achievement can be divided into two, namely internal factors and external factors. External factors are factors that arise from outside the student such as learning resources, learning facilities, school environment, teachers, friends, parents and others. Meanwhile, internal factors are factors that exist within students such as intelligence, talent, interest, motivation, physical condition, independence, physical fatigue and spiritual fatigue. In this research, the factors that will be investigated whether they have a big influence on student achievement are emotional intelligence and learning motivation. Learning motivation is a series of impulses or driving forces that come from within oneself and from outside to carry out learning activities to cause changes so that the goals desired by the learning subject can be achieved. Emotional intelligence can also support students' success in learning, so that emotional intelligence factors have an important role in learning.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of Ibn Sina's educational thoughts in today's guidance and counseling. Ibn Sina is one of the figures who has made a major contribution to the scientific treasures of Islam, especially those related to Islamic education. Besides that, the educational thoughts of Ibn Sina, or also known as Avicenna, can be implemented in the context of today's guidance and counseling by exploring his relevant philosophical concepts. Ibn Sina, a medieval Islamic philosopher and scholar, emphasized the importance of holistic education involving the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual aspects of the individual. In modern guidance and counseling, this concept can be applied by paying attention to the client's needs as a whole, not just focusing on the psychological aspect alone. Apart from that, Ibn Sina's thoughts about self-discovery and developing individual potential can also be the basis for a counseling approach that is oriented towards client growth and empowerment. By combining Ibn Sina's views with contemporary psychological theories, guidance and counseling practitioners can create a more comprehensive and integrated approach to helping clients achieve their holistic well-being. The method used is a literature review with critical analysis of research being conducted on a specific topic.

Abstract

In the Qur’an, the Oneness of Allah can be proven in three main parts, namely: the reality of visible form, the feelings found in the human soul, and logical postulates. In this paper, the researcher focuses on the perspective of the Al-Qur'an Surah Al-ikhlas and Surah Al-Baqarah verse 165. This research aims to show that Islam is a religion that truly adheres to pure monotheism. The understanding of the Oneness of God, according to religions other than Islam, can be said to be a confession of Oneness, but it is not pure. This is because they still recognize Ilah-ilah (Gods). This research includes qualitative research. The method used in this paper is the descriptive analysis method, namely a method that describes and analyzes a problem. The material object of this study is knowledge about God, and philosophy is the formal object. The literature sources used are books, e-books, journals, articles and trusted websites. Literary sources are collected using search engines and through libraries. The literature sources are then analyzed and concluded, the results of the literature study are put into a systematic narrative form by citing and referring to literature sources. The writing format is adjusted to applicable scientific principles and guidelines. The result of this research is that the concept of the Almighty Godhead, according to human thought, is different from the concept of the Almighty Godhead according to Islamic teachings. Everything in the universe was created by the Almighty Creator (Khalik). Humans who are given reason, when they pay attention to natural symptoms and phenomena, will come to the conclusion that this amazing nature must have been created by the Almighty. Logical reason also understands that what is created is not the same as the Creator. Creatures, apart from those that are real and can be known with the five senses, there are also those that are immaterial and cannot be reached by the human senses.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the issues encountered in the process of kitabah (writing) learning at SMP IT Ash-Sholihin. Arabic language education in Indonesia began with the spread of Islam in the 13th century, and one of the main objectives of teaching this language is to develop students' abilities to use Arabic, both orally and in writing. However, this process is full of challenges and is not straightforward. This research identifies various problems that arise in kitabah learning, such as difficulties in understanding Arabic grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structures. Additionally, the lack of adequate media and learning resources is a significant barrier. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach at SMP IT Ash-Sholihin. The results indicate that there is a need for improvements in teaching methods and the provision of better facilities and learning resources to support the kitabah learning process. Consequently, it is hoped that students' Arabic writing skills can be significantly improved.

Abstract

The Arabic language plays a crucial role in Islamic education, primarily because all Islamic teachings, including the Quran and Hadith, are in Arabic. This language is fundamental for facilitating understanding of the holy scriptures and the Prophet's traditions. The role of Arabic is vital in the daily lives of Muslims, such as in prayer and supplication. In Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), Arabic language flourishes, is considered special, and possesses distinct characteristics compared to other languages. This study highlights the importance of Arabic proficiency as a foundation for delving deeper into religious teachings with greater focus and shaping the identity of students (santri). Research employs the method of library research with techniques of content analysis and constant comparative analysis. Good Islamic education, both formal and informal, imparts religious knowledge based on the Quran and Hadith, facilitating the formation of strong morals and faith. Arabic, as an international language and the language of the Quran, is taught in various schools and madrasahs to achieve basic language competence, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Methods for learning Arabic are divided into traditional/classical and modern approaches, each emphasizing communication within cultural contexts and practical everyday skills. In Islamic education, Arabic language holds an urgent role as the primary source of religious teachings. Scholars like Dr. Muhammad Saed Abdul Rahman, Dr. Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi, and Prof. Mustansir Mir emphasize that Arabic is not just a means of communication but also a key to deepening understanding of Islam, preserving its intellectual and spiritual heritage.
