Abstract

Crime is a phenomenon that often occurs in society so that it becomes a matter of public discussion both directly and indirectly, such as through social media and print media. The type of violence that occurs against children is dominated by sexual violence, which reached 9,588 cases, where the largest percentage of these cases occurred from the closest environment, namely family and relatives. When acts of sexual violence occur against children, there are impacts such as trauma after the violence occurs. The aim of this research is to determine the efforts, stages and treatment of recovery provided by PSAA Balita Tunas Bangsa to child victims of sexual violence in the orphanage. From the violence received, the impact and trauma experienced by children as a result of sexual abuse causes lasting trauma and can disrupt their activities in socializing with their environment. Based on the impact of violence, there is a need for handling and efforts to be made to resolve it with the parties provided by PSAA Balita Tunas Bangsa with several stages such as; 1). Establishing Safety (Building Safety), 2). Remembrance and Mourning (Memories and Grief), 3). Reconnection (Reconnecting). From the stages of the efforts given, results will be obtained in the form of benchmarks for the success of the recovery efforts that have been given by looking at the victim's progress regarding the trauma obtained from the victim's achievements, the wounds on the victim and the recovery of these wounds, and the victim no longer remembering the things that were done. leading up to the event.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between social support and happiness in migrant students at the Faculty of Psychology, Padang State University. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational design. A total of 100 migrant students were randomly selected as samples. Data was collected using a questionnaire about social support and happiness which has been proven to be valid and reliable. The results of the analysis show that social support has a significant positive relationship with happiness, with a correlation value of r = 0.575 (p < 0.05). This means, the more social support students receive, the happier they are. This research confirms that social support, whether from family, friends, or the campus community, really helps migrant students face the challenges of life in new environment. Therefore, it is important to strengthen social support networks to increase the happiness of migrant students.

Abstract

Hospital Information System aims to provide accurate, timely, and relevant information to support management functions and decision-making in health services in hospitals. This study examines the influence of user satisfaction, information quality, and organizational support on the benefits obtained from SIRS, both directly and indirectly. The approach used in this study is quantitative with the explanatory causality method, and the analysis technique in this study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The respondents of the study were 198 professional care providers (PPA) who were directly involved in the use of SIRS at the Sultan Agung Islamic Hospital, Banjarbaru. The results of this study indicate that the factors of user satisfaction, information quality, and organizational support have a major influence on the benefits both directly and indirectly received from the use of this system, with a determination coefficient of 84.8%. This means that more than 80% of the benefits obtained by the hospital in using the hospital information system are determined by how satisfied the user is with the system used. This indicates a good relationship between the four factors in increasing the benefits of the hospital information system at RSI Sultan Agung Banjarbaru. Therefore, hospitals are advised not to only focus on developing one aspect, but also to maximize the four aspects in order to provide more optimal results.

Abstract

Packed Red Cell (PRC) is a commonly used blood component for transfusion, obtained through centrifugation or sedimentation of Whole Blood (WB), with most of the plasma removed. During in vitro storage, changes such as reduced red blood cell viability and hemolysis can occur. At UTD PMI Surabaya, hemolysis in PRC and WB was detected on the 20th day of storage, with 10% of blood production approaching hemolysis. This study aims to determine the differences in hemolysis events based on storage duration between PRC and WB. The research used a total sampling method with 60 combined samples of PRC and WB and was conducted at UTD PMI Surabaya. Statistical analysis using a paired samples t-test showed a significant value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in hemolysis events between PRC and WB. The study concludes that there is a significant difference in hemolysis events based on storage duration between PRC and WB at UTD PMI Surabaya.

Abstract

Cholesterol is a component of fat or lipids. Fat is a nutrient that the body actually needs, but if cholesterol levels are high it can cause disease. Cholesterol sufferers in Indonesia are quite high, namely 28% and 7.9% of cases cause cholesterol sufferers in the world to die from this disease. If treated too late, high cholesterol will actually endanger health and can even lead to death. Methods have been developed for examining total cholesterol in the blood in the laboratory, namely enzymatic methods such as Cholesterol Oxidase Deaminase Peroxidase Aminoantipyrine (CHOD-PAP). The aim of this study was to determine the difference in cholesterol levels between immediate serum examination and serum whose examination was postponed. The research was carried out experimentally using a Time Series Design. From the results of the examination of 16 samples, cholesterol levels were obtained based on the Paired Sample T-Test. From the calculation results, namely 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the results of checking cholesterol levels immediately and with a delay of 24 hours.

Abstract

Stunting, a growth disorder in young children caused by chronic malnutrition, can significantly impair a child's growth and development, especially cognitive development. This paper reviews the scientific evidence linking to cognitive delay. The author uses data from reference journal articles and several theories published between 2019 and 2024 accessed through Google Scholar, PubMed, Scopus, NCBI, and others using keywords such as "stunting", "nutritional status", and "cognitive development". The findings of the assessment demonstrated a clear association between stunting and cognitive development in children. Stunting children are at higher risk of experiencing impaired cognitive development compared to non-stunted children. Untreated cognitive development can affect the quality of life of the individual in the future. Therefore, appropriate intervention programs are needed to address stunting.

Abstract

Background: An ankle sprain is an acute musculoskeletal injury that causes damage to one or more ligaments in the ankle. There are 3 grades of damage to an ankle sprain, namely grade 1: mild ligament tear, grade 2: partial ligament tear, grade 3 : complete ligament tear. Therefore, this study aims to find out how to treat physiotherapy in cases of ankle sprains and the progress that patients find after being given intervention. Methods: This case study was carried out at Panembahan Senopati Hospital Bantul on ankle sprain patients. The problems experienced by patients are pain, weakness of muscle strength, limited range of motion of joints, and decreased functional activity. Findings: Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) pain assessment revealed that quiet pain remained at zero while pressure pain decreased from two to one and movement pain decreased from four to two. Ankle eversion, dorsiflexion, plantar flexion, and inversion are used in Manual Muscle Testing (MMT) to test muscle strength, and the results range from 3 to 4. Goniometers are used to measure range of motion (ROM) when moving plantar-dorso flexi S : 15 °-0-30° becomes S: 18°-0-32°, while in the inversion-eversion movement R: 25°-0-15° becomes R: 27°-0-17°. Functional activity as measured by the Foot and Ankle Disability Index (FADI) showed an increase, initially with a value of 71 which increased to 78. Conclusion: Providing intervention for ankle sprains with 3 meetings where the modalities used were infrared, active resisted exercise and calf raises were able to reduce pain relief, increasing muscle strength, increasing joint range of motion and functional activities

Abstract

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic disease with increasing prevalence and can lead to serious complications if not properly managed. This condition is caused by insulin resistance or insufficient insulin secretion, which can result in severe complications if neglected. This study uses a literature review method to analyze the role of education and pharmaceutical care in improving medication adherence, blood glucose control, and patient quality of life. The results show that interventions such as counseling, home pharmacy care, and booklet-based education significantly enhance patient adherence and therapy effectiveness. In conclusion, the active role of pharmacists in education and pharmaceutical care is crucial to supporting optimal T2DM management.
