Abstract

his Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to empower street meatball vendors through digital transformation based on online promotion and the use of the non-cash payment system, QRIS. The partners in this activity are groups of street meatball vendors in the [name of city/subdistrict] area, most of whom have not yet utilized digital media for marketing and still rely on cash transactions. The problems faced by the partners include limited ability to reach customers online, low understanding of digital marketing, and limited access to digital payment technologies.The solutions offered in this program include training in promotion via social media (Instagram, WhatsApp Business, and Google Maps), the creation of simple promotional content, and assistance in activating and using QRIS. Conceptually, this program adopts a state-of-the-art approach to the implementation of micro digital marketing and QR-based payment systems (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) as a strategic step for MSME adaptation to the Industry 4.0 era and post-pandemic conditions. The urgency of this activity lies in the need to enhance the competitiveness of informal micro-entrepreneurs so they can survive and grow through the adoption of affordable and accessible digital technologies. The implementation method includes field observation, hands-on training, creation of visual promotional materials, and regular post-training monitoring and evaluation. The results show an increase in the partners’ understanding of digital media, the creation of active social media promotional accounts, and the successful use of QRIS as an alternative payment method by customers. The outputs produced from this program include: (1) a PKM report, (2) a community service scientific article, (3) an educational documentation video, and (4) social media accounts for product promotion by partners. This activity is expected to serve as a replicable model for empowering informal sector MSMEs.

Abstract

. Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) have a strategic role in encouraging village economic independence, but many still face obstacles in managing financial administration professionally. BUMDes Mayangan Village is one example that still uses manual recording methods without a standardized financial reporting system. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of BUMDes administrators in preparing simple accounting-based financial reports through assistance in implementing a Microsoft Excel-based accounting application system. The implementation method includes team provision, partner profiling, technical training, assistance in recording transactions, to finalizing financial reports. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the understanding and technical abilities of administrators in recording and preparing financial reports in accordance with basic accounting principles. The Excel system implemented has proven to be effective, easy to use, and able to present financial reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flows in a more accountable manner. This activity is expected to be replicated in other BUMDes as a model for village financial management based on appropriate technology.

Abstract

Pembangunan ekonomi desa merupakan salah satu prioritas dalam mewujudkan keseimbangan pembangunan nasional. Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) berperan strategis sebagai penggerak ekonomi lokal, namun banyak di antaranya menghadapi tantangan dalam tata kelola keuangan, termasuk BUMDes Trijaya di Desa Balung Lor, Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonstruksi laporan keuangan BUMDes melalui penerapan sistem berbasis Microsoft Excel sebagai solusi yang sederhana, terjangkau, dan adaptif terhadap kondisi lokal. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi terhadap pengelolaan laporan keuangan menggunakan Excel. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pencatatan, transparansi, dan akuntabilitas laporan keuangan. Selain itu, pelatihan dan pendampingan yang dilakukan berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengurus BUMDes dalam mengelola laporan keuangan secara sistematis. Kesimpulannya, penerapan sistem berbasis Excel merupakan langkah awal yang efektif dalam membangun tata kelola keuangan desa yang profesional dan dapat direplikasi oleh BUMDes lain dengan kondisi serupa.

Abstract

. Biologi merupakan salah satu cabang ilmu pengetahuan alam yang mempelajari makhluk hidup dan interaksinya dengan lingkungan. Seiring dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, peran sarjana biologi dalam dunia kerja semakin luas dan beragam. Lulusan program studi biologi tidak hanya terbatas pada bidang pendidikan atau penelitian, tetapi juga dapat berkontribusi secara signifikan di sektor industri, kesehatan, lingkungan, pertanian, bioteknologi, dan konservasi alam. Dengan cakupan bidang yang luas dan kontribusi nyata terhadap pembangunan berkelanjutan, sarjana biologi memiliki peluang besar untuk menjadi agen perubahan dalam berbagai sektor kehidupan. Kegiatan sosialisasi mengenai peran sarjana biologi dalam masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang kontribusi lulusan biologi dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan. Sosialisasi ini berhasil membuka wawasan bahwa sarjana biologi memiliki peran strategis dalam menghadapi tantangan global, seperti perubahan iklim, pelestarian keanekaragaman hayati, dan pengembangan produk-produk berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat mendorong peningkatan minat terhadap studi biologi sekaligus memperkuat citra sarjana biologi sebagai agen perubahan yang memiliki kompetensi dan daya saing tinggi di dunia kerja

Abstract

This devotion aims to improve the competence of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Karangpring managers through mentoring the implementation of Microsoft Excel Macro VBA-based financial applications with a Project Based Learning approach. The main problem faced by BUMDes is the manual financial recording system which is inefficient, error-prone, and complicates the reporting process. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach is used to ensure the active involvement of BUMDes managers in all stages of activities, from problem identification to evaluation of application implementation. The results of the activity show that the use of Macro VBA-based applications can improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in preparing financial reports, as well as help managers understand financial performance more systematically.

Abstract

Effectiveness of using Quizizz media in collaborative learning and instilling it in learning styles and improving learning outcomes of class X-3 students of SMA Negeri 4 Makassar. The methods used are lectures, questions and answers or discussions, and training. The results obtained from using Quizizz media are able to improve students' understanding of economic material, encourage active involvement in discussion groups, and increase students' motivation and enthusiasm for learning. Quizizz has also been proven to be able to accommodate various learning styles and create an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Although there are obstacles such as technical problems and student adaptation to technology, in general the use of this media makes a positive contribution to the process and learning outcomes of students).

Abstract

Tourism is a crucial sector for Indonesia's economic growth, yet it faces challenges in resource utilization and effective promotion. Kembangbelor Village, Mojokerto Regency, boasts attractive natural potential but remains suboptimal in popularity. This community engagement aims to bridge this gap by integrating digital technology into tourism management and promotion. The methodology includes planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation phases. The engagement resulted in an informative website that enhances access to destination information, boosts tourist visits, and increases community participation in tourism management. Local community involvement in the evaluation phase provided feedback to enhance system sustainability. Results showed a significant increase in tourist visits post-website launch, highlighting the program's success in enhancing exposure and attractiveness of Kembangbelor Village tourism. Practical implications underscore the importance of digital technology in supporting sustainable tourism growth at the local level.

Abstract

Not many people know the benefits or uses of the lamtoro tree or what is commonly called petai cina which has the Latin name Leucaena Leucocephala which is a type of shrub. Through an empowerment program carried out in Wedungsari Village, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency, where there are many petai cina farmers, a community service program was held with an orientation to support the productivity of farmers in the village and provide nutrition through food that has economic value. Through the community service method with stages of socialization, empowerment (training), independent appeals to evaluation, the results obtained were that this program showed the success of increasing farmer productivity by making various foods from petai cina that can be traded and become food that meets family nutrition at an economical price.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to optimize the financial governance of BUMDes Mekarsari through two main stages: the Diagnostic and Problem Mapping stage, and the Intervention and System Optimization stage. The activity employed a descriptive qualitative method, utilizing observation, interviews, documentation study, application trials, and intensive mentoring. A Microsoft Excel-based financial reporting application was developed in accordance with the SAK EMKM structure to ensure ease of independent use by the management. As a result, BUMDes successfully compiled complete and accurate financial reports, with total assets increasing from IDR 15,556,885 to IDR 19,385,255 and a recorded net profit of IDR 708,675 in January 2025. This program led to increased accounting comprehension among partners, the formation of a disciplined recording culture, and the fulfillment of the team’s need for contextual, hands-on learning serving as a replicable model for other regions.

Abstract

This activity aims to enhance student creativity through the development of the Memory Photo Box as an innovative product with high emotional value that can serve as a personalized gift. This product was chosen for its ability to combine aesthetic elements, functionality, and emotional appeal, which increase both its attractiveness and market value. The implementation methods included hands-on training, creative idea brainstorming, and group discussions to design and create the Memory Photo Box. Evaluation was conducted using a pretest-posttest approach to assess improvements in students’ creativity, understanding of emotional value in products, and the overall quality of their final creations. The results indicated a significant improvement across all three aspects. The outcomes of this activity include the physical Memory Photo Box products, an activity report, a scientific article, and the emergence of entrepreneurship potential based on student creativity. This activity is expected to serve as a real-life implementation of the Creativity and Innovation course, providing not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience that directly contributes to the development of students’ soft skills.
