Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is a journal on Faculty of Education. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of readiness of science teachers in implementing the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at SMP Negeri 4 Tondano. The study used a qualitative descriptive research approach. The subjects of the study were 5 science teachers in grades 7, 8, and 9 at SMP Negeri 4 Tondano. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Indicators of teacher readiness in implementing the curriculum include understanding the curriculum structure, readiness of learning plans, implementation of learning, assessment of learning, and availability of facilities and infrastructure. Data processing techniques used a Likert scale, collecting and calculating average scores, and converting scores into percentages. The results of the study showed that:1) Teachers' understanding of the curriculum structure is good, 2) readiness of learning planning is good, 3) readiness of learning implementation is good, 4) readiness of learning assessment is good, and 5) readiness of facilities and infrastructure is good. The conclusion of this study is that the readiness of science teachers in implementing the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at SMP Negeri 4 Tondano is classified as good.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara media sosial dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada SMK Negeri 51 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 2 bulan terhitung mulai bulan Mei dan Juni 2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa jurusan manajemen perkantoran kelas X & XI yang berjumlah 144 orang, dengan mengambil sampel 106 menggunakan rumus slovin, lalu disubkelompokkan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data variabel X1 (media sosial), diukur menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert, X2 (motivasi belajar), dan variabel Y (hasil belajar) diukur menggunakan penilaian aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Data tersebut kemudian diuji coba instrumen validitas dan realibilitas ke 30 responden. Teknik analisis data ini menggunakan uji persyaratan analisis, asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda dilanjut pengujian hipotesis dan terakhir koefisien determinasi. Hipotesis diuji dengan signifikan pada 0,05 margin of error menggunakan t-test dan analisis varians (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keduanya secara bersamaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Ini berarti bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara media sosial dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar diterima. Sementara itu, koefisien determinasi untuk R2 adalah 45,2% % sedangkan sisanya 54,8 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

This research aims to understand how eighth-grade students at SMP YWKA Palembang learn Rodat Dance. The approach used is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection methods including observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The results indicate that the learning process proceeded well. This success was influenced by the teacher's active involvement in creating a supportive learning environment, structured delivery of material, and the use of appropriate learning media. Students also showed high enthusiasm and active participation throughout the learning. Despite initial challenges, they successfully mastered the basic movements of Rodat Dance.

Abstract

Milok Sambatan Dance is a creative dance in Banyuasin which was created in 2003 in Banyuasin precisely in Pangkalan Balai, which tells about the joy of Banyuasin children when helping their parents in the rice fields by working together. Milok Sambatan means milu bergotong royong or working together. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study showed that the Milok Sambatan dance tells of solidarity between the Banyuasin people in working together. And in the makeup of the Milok Sambatan dance, it is a simple or unobtrusive makeup and the clothes used are also fairly simple dance clothes that are adjusted to the dance, namely people working in the rice fields.

Abstract

High-quality academic writing requires the ability to manage references efficiently, systematically, and in accordance with academic standards. However, based on a survey conducted, the santri (Islamic boarding school students) at Pondok Pesantren Al Munawwir Komplek L, Krapyak, Yogyakarta, still face various challenges in reference management, particularly in compiling bibliographies and citations. This issue highlights the need to improve digital literacy among santri, especially in relation to academic writing. In response to this need, a training program was held to introduce and teach the use of Mendeley, a reference management software that assists in collecting, storing, organizing, and generating citations and bibliographies in an automatic and structured manner. The program consisted of several stages: preparation, socialization, technical training, intensive mentoring, and final evaluation. The main objective of this training was to equip the santri with practical skills in using Mendeley as part of strengthening their academic competencies. The program’s success was measured through participant feedback and the results of an evaluative quiz. Based on the evaluation, the majority of santri demonstrated a significant improvement in understanding and were able to use Mendeley independently. It is hoped that this initiative will contribute positively to enhancing the quality of academic writing within the pesantren environment and foster a stronger academic culture among the santri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic literacy and consumer perception on consumer behavior of high school students in Madiun Regency. This study involved 215 respondents from 10 high schools in Madiun Regency, especially grade XI students of economics courses. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed using Google Forms, while data analysis was carried out with the help of Statistical Package For The Social Sciences (SPSS) software. The results of this study indicate that economic literacy has a positive and significant effect on student consumer behavior, while consumer perception has a negative and significant effect on student consumer behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy of the Family Income Improvement Business (UP2K) empowerment program in Sukaluyu Village, Cibeunying Kaler District, Bandung City, and to find out what obstacles are faced in the UP2K empowerment program in improving the economic welfare of the community in Sukaluyu Village. The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of the study show that the UP2K strategy in improving economic welfare in Sukaluyu Village, Cibeunying Kaler District, Bandung City includes conducting skills training, coaching, mentoring, and lending capital in opening or developing a business. Meanwhile, obstacles faced in the UP2K empowerment program in Sukaluyu Village such as budget problems, community businesses that experience congestion and unevenness, a lot of competition, lack of management, late return of capital, and misuse of capital loans.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Financial Literacy on Investment Decisions, with Financial Management as a mediating variable among migrant college students using e-money in Surabaya. The research method employed a quantitative approach with PLS-SEM analysis. The sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that both TAM and Financial Literacy have a positive effect on Financial Management, which in turn significantly affects Investment Decisions. Furthermore, Financial Management was found to mediate the relationship between TAM and Financial Literacy toward Investment Decisions. These findings provide practical implications for universities and fintech developers to enhance students' financial literacy.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the learning strategies of Civic Education (PKn) in virtual classrooms through the integration of digital pedagogy and information systems. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied, and the data were collected through interviews with several lecturers who actively taught PKn online during the Covid-19 pandemic. The findings showed that online PKn learning required contextual approaches such as case studies and personal reflection to increase student engagement. In addition, the use of digital platforms such as Learning Management System (LMS), Google Classroom, and Microsoft Teams played an essential role in supporting the learning process. However, this study also identified several challenges, including limited interaction between students and lecturers and the uneven level of students' digital readiness. To analyze these phenomena, this study used the theories of Symbolic Interactionism, New Media, and Uses and Gratifications. These theories provided a framework to understand how interaction, media use, and student motivation influenced the PKn learning process in virtual classrooms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and financial attitude on the financial well-being of female university students in Surabaya, with financial behavior as a mediating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Respondents were active female students in Surabaya, selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results indicate that financial attitude significantly affects financial behavior, which in turn strongly influences financial well-being. However, financial literacy does not have a statistically significant direct effect on financial behavior, although it remains theoretically relevant. Therefore, financial behavior is confirmed as a crucial mediating variable linking financial literacy and attitude to financial well-being. These findings underscore the importance of cultivating healthy financial behaviors as a strategy to improve the financial well-being of students, especially women.
