Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is a journal on Faculty of Education. Jurnal JERKIN: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is under the auspices of the Faculty of Education, Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai. The journal is registered with E-ISSN: 2961-9890. Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat dan Riset Pendidikan is published four times a year in September, December, March and June. Abstract

This study aims to find out whether fanaticism affects verbal aggression shown by Indonesian national team supporters on social media. The background of this research is the rise of negative and attacking comments directed at players, coaches, and even PSSI officials, especially after Indonesia lost to China and failed in the 2024 AFF Championship. This situation shows signs of aggressive behavior caused by disappointment over the match results. The subjects of the study were 92 supporters who actively follow the progress of the national team and have posted negative comments on social media. Data were collected using Verbal Aggression and Fanaticism measurement tools. The regression analysis showed no significant relationship between fanaticism and verbal aggression (p > 0.05, R² = 0.001). These findings suggest that other factors, such as personality, self-control, and social pressure, may have a stronger influence on verbal aggression. The researcher recommends adding other variables besides fanaticism in future studies for better results.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the structure of partnerships formed, the implementation of development programs through such collaborations, and the readiness of foster children to engage with these programs. Employing a qualitative approach and a case study method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation review. The findings reveal that partnerships with external institutions, such as the Child Rights Advocacy Institute (LAHA), are mutualistic in nature, grounded in principles of equality, transparency, and mutual benefit. The rehabilitation programs include skills training, religious education, legal counseling, and psychosocial support, guided by social learning theory. The readiness of foster children is influenced by both internal factors (motivation, self-awareness) and external factors (supportive environment, program delivery), which in turn affect behavioral changes, increased discipline, and active participation. These findings offer critical recommendations for strengthening partnership-based child rehabilitation programs that are aligned with the goals of civic education and social reintegration.

Abstract

Kemandirian merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini yang perlu ditanamkan sejak dini melalui lingkungan yang mendukung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru dalam menanamkan kemandirian pada anak usia 5-6 tahun melalui kegiatan berkemah sebagai salah satu bentuk pembelajaran di luar ruangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dimana data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi pada satu anak (N) dan enam guru di salah satu lembaga PAUD di Kabupaten Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum kegiatan berkemah, anak subjek menunjukkan ketergantungan yang tinggi terhadap pengasuh. Namun, setelah mengikuti serangkaian kegiatan berkemah yang dirancang secara sistematis dan edukatif, terjadi peningkatan perilaku mandiri yang signifikan, seperti mampu mengambil keputusan sendiri, mengelola barang pribadi, dan mengikuti kegiatan tanpa bantuan. Peran guru sebagai fasilitator, motivator, dan teladan terbukti efektif dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang mendukung tumbuhnya kemandirian. Kegiatan berkemah menjadi media pembelajaran yang bermakna dan menyenangkan dalam membangun karakter kemandirian anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interpersonal influence on extravagant consumption with status consumption as a mediating variable. The method used is a quantitative approach with regression analysis techniques with mediating variables. Sampling using a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1-5. The sample obtained was 200 respondents who used the extravaganza brand. The results showed that, (1) Interpersonal influence has a positive and significant effect on extravagant consumption, (2) Interpersonal influence has a positive and significant effect on status consumption, (3) Status consumption has a positive and significant effect on extravagant consumption, (4) Status consumption partially mediates the relationship between interpersonal influence on status consumption..

Abstract

The quality of life for the elderly has generally not yet reached optimal levels. The aging process is a phase that provides fewer positive stimuli, potentially decreasing the quality of life for the elderly. This is characterized by dissatisfaction with life and low stress management skills. This condition is experienced by the elderly living in nursing homes due to inadequate quality of life. This program is a stress management program that uses audio therapy to improve quality of life, conducted in partnership with the elderly at the Damai Ranomuut Nursing Home. This program aims to reconstruct the mindset of the elderly in a positive direction with the support of enjoyable activities. The method used is therapy with audio loaded with positive affirmations according to the preferences of the elderly. The application of this method increased the quality of life score from 13.4 to 31.2, according to the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) test score.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to innovate in order to improve efficiency and income. One innovation in non-cash payment systems is the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), initiated by Bank Indonesia to facilitate digital transactions. This study aims to analyze the effect of QRIS usage on the income of MSME actors at the Ketintang Culinary Tourism Center (SWK), Surabaya. The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The population consisted of all MSMEs at SWK Ketintang, with a total sample of 34 respondents determined using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the aid of SPSS software. The findings indicate that the use of QRIS has a positive and significant impact on the income of MSMEs. These results highlight the importance of digital literacy and the adoption of QRIS-based payment systems as strategies to support local economic growth. Furthermore, this study is expected to serve as a reference for MSME actors and policymakers to enhance the utilization of digital payment technologies as a key driver of business growth in the digital economy era.

Abstract

This community service program aims to assist micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the digitalization process by utilizing Shopee as an e-commerce platform. The partner MSME involved is Sugar Craft Hampers, a woven bag handicraft business located in Sleman, Yogyakarta. This initiative is driven by the need for MSMEs to enhance competitiveness and expand market reach through the use of digital technology. The methods employed include identifying the problems faced by the MSME, conducting training on Shopee features, creating and optimizing digital content (product displays, photos, descriptions, and pricing), implementing digital marketing strategies, and evaluating sales outcomes. The results indicate a significant improvement in the digital literacy of MSME owners, a broader market reach, and increased online sales. This assistance demonstrates that digitalization through e-commerce can serve as a strategic and practical solution for enhancing the sustainability of micro-enterprises in the digital economy era. Furthermore, this activity underscores the crucial role of higher education institutions in bridging the technology gap between MSMEs and the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk tindakan sosial tokoh dan fungsi mistisisme dalam novel Mata di Tanah Melus karya Okky Madasari dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra Max Weber. Fokus penelitian tertuju pada bagaimana tindakan sosial para tokoh utama terbentuk berdasarkan orientasi rasional, nilai, tradisi, dan afeksi, serta bagaimana mistisisme dalam novel berperan sebagai kekuatan sosial yang membentuk struktur masyarakat. Pendekatan sosiologi sastra dipilih karena mampu menjembatani dunia fiksi dengan kenyataan sosial yang dihidupi masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Data penelitian berupa kutipan naratif dan dialog dalam novel yang merepresentasikan perilaku sosial tokoh-tokoh utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tindakan sosial tokoh dalam novel ini tergolong ke dalam empat tipe tindakan sosial Max Weber, yakni tindakan rasional instrumental, tindakan berorientasi nilai, tindakan afektif, dan tindakan tradisional. Sementara itu, mistisisme dalam novel tidak hanya hadir sebagai elemen religius, melainkan juga berfungsi sebagai simbol identitas kolektif, legitimasi kekuasaan, kontrol sosial, dan pengatur kehidupan spiritual masyarakat Tanah Melus.

Abstract

Kepribadian merupakan karakteristik yang melekat pada diri seseorang, tercermin melalui sikap dan perilaku, serta hal yang membedakannya dari orang lain. Tetapi tidak memungkinkan bahwa kepribadian seseorang akan berubah karena berbagai faktor, misalnya caranya dalam menghadapi suatu masalah. Berangkat dari hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan ketidaksadaran kepribadian tokoh Alina dalam novel Pukul Setengah Lima karya Rintik Sedu dengan menggunakan teori psikoanalisis Carl Gustav Jung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini mencakup penggunaan kata-kata, susunan kalimat, dan paragraf yang mengandung aspek kepribadian ketidaksadaran tokoh Alina dalam novel Pukul Setengah Lima karya Rintik Sedu. Sumber data penelitian berupa novel Pukul Setengah Lima karya Rintik Sedu cetakan pertama diterbitkan oleh Gramedia Pustaka Utama dengan jumlah 208 halaman. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca dan catat. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan cara: (1) membaca keseluruhan data (2) mengklasifikasi data kepribadian (3) mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis data kepribadian (4) menginterpretasi hasil analisis data (5) menarik kesimpulan sementara mengenai kepribadian tokoh utama dalam novel Pukul Setengah Lima karya Rintik Sedu. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan 44 kutipan yang menyatakan ketidaksadaran tokoh Alina dalam novel Pukul Setengah Lima karya Rintik Sedu.
