Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan partisipatif dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SD Islam Al Azhar 13 Rawaamangun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, pembahasan lalu penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil dari penelitian di SD Islam Al Azhar 13 Rawamangun yaitu: 1) gaya kepemimpinan partisipatif berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap etos kerja guru dan tenaga kependidikan di SD Islam Al Azhar 13 Rawamangun, 2) dalam perencanaan pendidikan serta pengambilan kebijakan melibatkan partusipasi pendidik, tenaga kependidikan, dan orang tua peserta didik.

Abstract

It is necessary to increase understanding of breast cancer as an initial bridge to increase awareness and ultimately contribute to reducing incidence and mortality. Community service carried out by the Anatomic Pathology Department of FK UGJ was held at SMAN 1 Majalengka, attended by 58 class representatives. Starting with filling out a pretest, then providing education about breast cancer and ending with a post test. The pretest and posttest results were then assessed and grouped into three categories, namely good (8-10), moderate (6-7), and poor (1-5). There was a significant increase in the pretest and posttest results, namely the good category from 43% to 97%, a significant decrease for the moderate and poor categories, namely 38% to 3% and 19% to 0% respectively. The conclusion of the results of this community service was proven to increase students' knowledge regarding breast cancer.

Abstract

This study describes the description of digital literacy of SMKN teacher learning in Wajo Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type to explain the condition of the description of digital literacy of teacher learning. The population in this study was 269 teachers with sampling using simple random sampling so that a sample of 161 was obtained. The data collection techniques used were surveys and documentation. The analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis. In this study, digital literacy of teacher learning consists of finding digital content, creating digital content, using digital content and communicating digital content. The results of the study showed that digital literacy of teacher learning was in the high category, this can be seen from several dimensions that were measured. First, the teacher's ability to find digital content is in the very high category which shows the teacher's excellent skills in finding and accessing relevant digital information. Second, the teacher's ability to create digital content is in the high category which means that the teacher is able to create digital materials quite creatively and effectively. Furthermore, the teacher's ability to use digital content is also in the high category which shows that the teacher actively uses digital materials to support the learning process. Finally, the teacher's ability to communicate digital content is also in the high category, meaning that the teacher is able to convey digital material to students clearly and well. Thus, teachers have good digital literacy skills to support the learning process. They are not only able to find and use various digital content, but also can create and communicate learning materials effectively.

Abstract

This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the Lee & Owens development model consisting of the analysis stage, the planning stage (design), development (development), implementation (Implementation) and evaluation (Evaluation). This study aims to produce a valid science literacy e-LKPD based on lesson study for learning community. The development pattern of this science literacy LKPD itself refers to the lesson study for learning community (SLSC) which consists of planning, implementation, and reflection. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Muaro Jambi with the research subjects being class XI Phase F4. The instruments used were teacher interview sheets, validation questionnaires including material expert validation questionnaires to validate the feasibility of material content, and media expert validation questionnaires to validate the feasibility of media design, teacher assessment questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study inform that the developed e-LKPD has been proven to be very valid with a percentage of 10% by media experts and 10% material, a practicality assessment of 10% by chemistry subject teachers, and also this teaching material is practical to use by students with a practicality percentage of 10%. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the developed teaching material is suitable for use in the chemistry learning process, especially the material on reaction rate factors.

Abstract

Video is an audio visual media that displays images and sound. Learning videos present material, information and explain complex concepts to students in a more interesting way. This learning video is channeled using a problem-based approach. This study aims to determine the feasibility of problem-based learning videos according to the validation of material experts and media experts, to find out teacher assessments and student responses to the media developed. This study is a development research using the Lee & Owens model which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The development product was validated by material experts and media experts and assessed by chemistry teachers who were then tested in small groups. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the learning video obtained a percentage of 87.8% with very decent qualifications from two material experts, 87.8% with very decent qualifications from two media experts and 96% with very good qualifications from chemistry teachers. Meanwhile, in the small group trial, the learning video obtained a percentage of 90.5% with very good qualifications. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning video developed is suitable for use as a medium in the chemistry learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the role playing method in Pancasila and citizenship education learning to form civic disposition in class X students of SMK Negeri 7 Bone. This study uses a qualitative research method with observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the role playing method is effective in forming students' civic disposition because it can increase students' enthusiasm, improve character and develop students' communication skills. They feel that this learning is more interactive and motivated to apply civic disposition values ​​in everyday life.

Abstract

Acne is a skin disease where the oil glands are blocked by dirt that can be infected by bacteria. One way to cure acne is by using compounds that have antibacterial effects. Butterfly pea flowers contain compounds that are believed to inhibit bacterial growth at a certain percentage. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial effectiveness of butterfly pea flower extracts and fractions in certain concentrations. This type of research uses experimental. This study was divided into 6 groups with 4 different concentrations, namely positive control (Gentamicin), negative control (DMSO 10%), Butterfly pea flower extract (15%, 20%, 30%, 40%), Aquadest Fraction (15%, 20%, 30%, 40%), N-hexane Fraction (15%, 20%, 30%, 40%), and Ethyl acetate fraction (15%, 20%, 30%, 40%). The results of the bacterial inhibition zone data were analyzed using SPSS 26 with a confidence level of 95%. The results of this study indicate that the extract and fraction of butterfly pea flowers provide antibacterial effects on the growth of staphylococcus aureus bacteria at concentrations of 15%, 20%, 30%, and 40%. The best inhibition zone is in the ethanol extract of butterfly pea flowers with an average inhibition zone of 9.3 mm at a concentration of 40%.

Abstract

The paper examines the terminology used in famous quotations and their translation, focusing on their cultural significance and contextual meanings. For this purpose, we built a 70,000-word parallel corpus using Sketch Engine from the English quotes and their Indonesian translations. The data used for this paper were carefully selected from one of 12 translation cycles conducted over two weeks, in which 15 students translated 250 quotes each.  University teachers acted as editors, and the finalized translations were published in the online dictionary application LINE. The findings suggest that the meanings of culture-bound terms in famous quotations are deeply rooted in their cultural contexts and historical contexts, reflecting the backgrounds of their original authors. Eight particularly noteworthy terms were analyzed in dept, demonstrating the challenges faced in translation. The study identified Direct Equivalent and Direct Loan as the most frequently used strategies, indicating a tendency to preserve the original nuances and metaphorical meanings of the source language quotations. These findings highlight the complexity of translating culturally embedded expressions and emphasize the need for a balance between fidelity to the source text and comprehensibility for the target audience

Abstract

The quality of human resources in the academic world highly depends on the ability to write scientific papers and professionally manage academic journals. At STAI Yasba Kalianda, academic writing skills and Open Journal System (OJS) management remain challenging. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide training in academic writing and OJS management to improve the quality of scientific publications at STAI Yasba Kalianda. The implementation method includes lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice on OJS usage. Evaluation was conducted through pre-test and post-test using the Moodle application in the form of an online quiz to measure participants' comprehension improvement. The results of this activity indicate a 40% increase in understanding, demonstrating that the training effectively enhances the academic capacity of participants. Through this training, it is expected that students and lecturers of STAI Yasba Kalianda will become more active in writing and managing academic journals professionally.

Abstract

Perangkat desa berperan sebagai penghubung informasi dan pelayanan publik, namun masih menghadapi kendala dalam komunikasi dan transparansi akibat keterbatasan pemahaman serta akses teknologi. Untuk mengatasi hal ini dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh Generasi Muda Forum Komunikasi Dosen (GM FKD) pada 20 Maret 2025 di salah satu desa di Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 30 perangkat desa, termasuk Kepala Desa, Sekretaris Desa, Ketua RT, Ketua RW, lurah, dan kader desa. Sosialisasi ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas perangkat desa dalam menyampaikan kebijakan dan mengoptimalkan pelayanan publik. Metode yang digunakan adalah seminar edukatif dan diskusi interaktif. Materi mencakup peran perangkat desa, komunikasi efektif, serta pemanfaatan teknologi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai keterbukaan informasi dan strategi komunikasi. Kendala utama yang diidentifikasi adalah minimnya pemanfaatan teknologi dalam administrasi desa. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pelayanan publik dan transparansi pemerintahan desa. Tindak lanjut berupa pelatihan lebih lanjut diperlukan agar teknologi dapat diterapkan secara optimal.
