Abstract

The height of the uterine fundus (TFU) is one of the important indicators in assessing the process of uterine involution in the puerperium. Puerperal Gymnastics aims to help accelerate the decline of TFU so as to reduce the risk of complications such as postpartum haemorrhage. This study aims to determine the effect of puerperal Gymnastics on the decrease in tfu in puerperal mothers At Pbm Bd. Sabar Mulianta Sitepu, S.Tr.Keb Stabat District In 2025. The research type is a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test with one group design. A sample of 10 puerperal mothers was selected using purposive sampling technique based on certain inclusion criteria. The puerperal Gymnastics intervention was administered 1 time per day for 7 consecutive days, and uterine fundus (TFU) measurements were taken before and after the intervention using measuring tapes and observation sheets. Data analysis was conducted using Paired Sample T-Test because the data is normally distributed based on Shapiro-Wilk test. The results showed that the average height of the uterine fundus before puerperal Gymnastics was 4.4 cm, and after puerperal Gymnastics for 7 consecutive days decreased to 2.4 cm. Sample T-Test obtained a value of p = 0.001 (p < 0.05) which means there is a significant difference between before and after the intervention of puerperal.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain whether there is an indirect effect of professional competence of mathematics teachers on achievement through interveving variables; ascertain whether there is an effect of teacher professional competence on motivation and self-regulated learning. The research method used in this study is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all junior high school mathematics teachers in Jambi City with a sample of 54 teachers consisting of 63% civil servant teachers and 37% non-civil servant teachers, and 300 student respondents. The results of this study found that there was no significant influence between the professional competence of mathematics teachers on student learning achievement. The path coefficient value of 0.2% which is positive indicates that the higher the professional competence of mathematics teachers, the higher the student learning achievement. The intervening variable does not provide an influence in the relationship between the professional competence of mathematics teachers on student learning achievement. This shows that there is no significant difference between the direct effect of teacher professional competence on learning achievement and the indirect effect through other variables, namely motivation and self-regulated learning.

Abstract

This study examines the psychometric qualities of a tryout test administered to 283 in-service English teachers in Indonesia, using Classical Test Theory (CTT) procedures. The analysis focused on five indices: item validity, discrimination, difficulty, distractor functioning, and item utilization. Results revealed several weaknesses in the test design. Only 46% of items demonstrated acceptable validity, while 54% failed to align meaningfully with the overall construct of teacher competence. More than half of the items showed poor discrimination, limiting the test’s ability to differentiate high- and low-performing teachers. Difficulty levels were skewed, with 72% of items categorized as easy, thereby restricting the measurement of higher-order thinking skills. Distractor analysis indicated that three-quarters of options were non-functioning, reducing diagnostic value. Consequently, only 9% of items could be retained without revision. Despite these shortcomings, the findings provide useful insights into teacher competencies. While basic linguistic and pedagogical knowledge was well represented, higher-order professional skills such as inference, synthesis, and applied pedagogy were under-assessed. These results highlight the importance of strengthening assessment literacy and integrating item analysis into teacher professional development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze cost optimization and service level in a call center queueing system using the M/M/S model. The main problem addressed is the imbalance between operational cost efficiency and customer service quality in determining the optimal number of servers. The research applies a quantitative approach with a case study design based on 1,251 historical observations of call center performance. Data were analyzed using the M/M/S queueing model with arrival and service rate parameters of 8.27 customers per hour and 22.85 customers per hour per server, respectively. The results indicate that the two-server configuration is the optimal solution, achieving a 96.8% service level and an operational cost of Rp 56,601 per hour, meeting industry standards while maintaining cost efficiency. This configuration yields a 45.3% improvement in service level compared to one server with a 61.8% cost increase, while adding a third server provides only marginal improvement. The findings provide practical implications for call center management in balancing financial and service quality aspects. In addition, this study offers educational value as a learning resource in applied mathematics and operations research courses.

Abstract

Lake Beratan in Bedugul, Bali, faces the threat of pollution due to environmentally unfriendly tourism and agricultural activities. This community service program aims to raise environmental legal awareness among local residents through legal education and advocacy. The program was conducted in three stages: observing the lake's condition and resident behavior, developing environmental law outreach materials, and implementing activities such as outreach, discussions, and waste management practices. The results showed a significant increase in residents' legal understanding; more than 80% of participants understood their rights and obligations and began implementing environmentally friendly behaviors such as sorting waste and reducing chemical use. These changes reflect the application of the concepts of Environmental Compliance, the precautionary principle, and sustainable development, where residents consciously maintain environmental sustainability based on legal, moral, and social understanding. This program emphasizes the importance of environmental legal education and advocacy as an effective strategy for building legal awareness and social responsibility to preserve Lake Beratan as a sustainable natural and cultural heritage.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how audiovisual media influence the tolerance attitudes of fifth-grade students at SDN 064976. The foundation of this research is the decline in students’ tolerance due to conventional teaching methods that are less engaging. The study employs a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design (one-group pretest-posttest). The participants consist of 30 students. Data were collected using a Likert scale survey that evaluated aspects of respecting differences, cooperation, and mutual appreciation. The findings show a significant improvement in students’ tolerance attitudes after the use of audiovisual media. The average pretest score of 44.083% increased to 89.208% in the posttest, indicating an improvement of 45.125%. These results demonstrate that audiovisual media can enhance students’ understanding and application of tolerance values by providing engaging, interactive, and easily comprehensible learning experiences. Therefore, the effective use of audiovisual media fosters tolerant character development among elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the deep learning approach as an effort to strengthen the image of education (endorsement). The method used is a literature study, by collecting and analyzing various sources of basic academic data such as Google Scholar and others. The results of the study indicate that deep learning has revolutionary potential in education, not only to predict student performance, but also to understand the complex factors that influence learning success. The application of deep learning can also improve the image of educational institutions by giving the impression of being innovative and in tune with current developments. However, there are challenges such as inequality of access, teacher readiness, ethical issues and data privacy, and the potential decline of the role of teachers. This study also highlights the importance of integrating the Independent Curriculum and the deep learning approach to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. The study results show that the deep learning approach can improve learning outcomes and student interest because learning is not monotonous, involves students in critical thinking, and learning with creativity and innovation. However, careful planning is required before implementation.

Abstract

This research utilizes digital applications as a learning tool, with the main objective of increasing students' enthusiasm and motivation to learn. In the process, the Quizizz gamification platform and digital reflection through Google Form are used. Research activities were carried out in class 7.1 SMP Negeri 14 Malang in the subject of Social Science, with a focus on Social and Cultural Diversity in community life. The method applied is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consists of two stages and involves 33 students as research subjects. Data collection methods in this study included observation, tests, questionnaires, and documentation, while the data analysis process was carried out with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics version 30 software. The results showed that the use of Quizizz was able to create an interactive and competitive learning atmosphere, increasing student enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Meanwhile, Google Form-based digital learning reflection helps students evaluate their learning experience, increase intrinsic motivation, and metacognitive awareness. A total of 91.52% of students were declared complete in working on LKPD, 53,3% of students felt excited and challenged to take part in Quizizz, and 66,7% of students stated that playing Quizizz was the most exciting part of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the ASSURE Model with the Mentimeter media in teaching Bahasa Indonesia for fifth-grade students at SDN Percobaan 1 Malang, as well as to examine its effect on students' learning motivation. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with a case study design. The subjects of this study are 29 fifth-grade students, with instruments including interviews, questionnaires, and pretest-posttest. The results show that prior to the implementation of Mentimeter, most students had low initial abilities and low learning motivation. After the implementation of Mentimeter, there was a significant improvement in both understanding of the material and student motivation. The interactive use of Mentimeter successfully created a fun learning atmosphere and increased student engagement, particularly for students with a visual learning style. However, the study also faced limitations regarding device accessibility and time constraints, which affected the efficiency of Mentimeter usage. Abstract

Students’ enthusiasm during classroom presentations is often a challenge, especially among third-grade elementary students who tend to lack confidence, be passive, and feel shy speaking in front of peers. This condition indicates that the learning process has not fully supported students’ courage and participation. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the window shopping method in improving the enthusiasm of third-grade students during presentations in IPAS learning and to describe its implementation. The study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a descriptive quantitative approach, conducted in two cycles and one pre-cycle. The subjects were 19 third-grade students at SDN Blimbing 2 Malang in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The instruments used were enthusiasm observation sheets and documentation. The findings showed that the window shopping method contributed to increasing students’ enthusiasm, with the average score rising from 62 in the pre-cycle to 74 in cycle I and further to 85 in cycle II. The mastery level also improved from 42% to 84%. In conclusion, the window shopping method fosters an interactive learning atmosphere, enhances speaking confidence, promotes discussion involvement, and stimulates enthusiasm in IPAS learning.
