Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan logo sebagai citra merek pada usaha keripik olahan rumah tangga di Desa Kuta Tualah guna meningkatkan identitas visual dan daya saing produk lokal. Minimnya elemen branding pada kemasan sebelumnya menyebabkan kurangnya pengenalan merek dan daya tarik konsumen. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara dengan pemilik usaha, serta analisis kebutuhan visual pada produk keripik. Proses perancangan logo dilakukan melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, sketsa alternatif desain, pemilihan konsep visual, dan digitalisasi desain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa logo yang dirancang mampu merepresentasikan karakteristik produk, nilai lokal desa, serta memberikan tampilan visual yang lebih profesional. Implementasi logo baru terbukti meningkatkan daya tarik kemasan, memperkuat identitas merek, serta mendukung strategi pemasaran usaha keripik rumahan di Desa Kuta Tualah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sociological implications of law concerning the application of road closure permits, utilizing the theory of law as a tool of social engineering as proposed by Roscoe Pound. While road closures are sometimes necessary for construction or specific events, they often result in significant social impacts. Through a sociological legal approach, this research examines how the law can be effectively used to balance public and individual interests in the context of road closures. Case studies are conducted to understand how this theory is applied in practice and its impact on society.

Abstract

Health disparities between urban and 3T (Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost) areas are crucial issues in achieving sustainable development (SDGs) in Indonesia, especially in the dimension of community Life Expectancy (HH). HH levels in 3T areas are often hampered by limited access to preventive health services, low awareness of the risks of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) such as hypertension and diabetes, as well as geographical and economic barriers. This community service study aims to assess the effectiveness of preventive interventions in the form of socialization and implementation of free health screening in increasing awareness and early detection of NCDs as a prerequisite for improving HH. This program is implemented in three 3T locations that represent different regional challenges: Bojong Village, Pangandaran Regency (West Java) ; Songan B Village, Bangli Regency (Bali) ; and Sipora Utara Village, Mentawai Islands Regency (West Sumatra). The approach used was Primary Promotive-Preventive through intensive education and direct screening services (blood pressure, random blood sugar, and body mass index measurements). The community service team collaborated closely with the Community Health Center (Puskesmas) and local health cadres. The results of the community service demonstrated a high level of participation and a significant increase in community knowledge regarding NCD risk factors. The free screening successfully identified a large number of participants with abnormal results (especially hypertension and pre-diabetes) but who had never been diagnosed, which is vital for rapid referral interventions. This intervention demonstrates that screening services integrated with outreach are an effective strategy to bridge the gap in health access in the 3T region. Fundamentally, early detection and referral are concrete steps towards improving the quality of health and, cumulatively, increasing life expectancy in the 3T area. The main implication of this study is the need for sustainable replication of this preventive intervention model and its integration into the 3T regional health program.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the STEM-based project-based learning (PjBL) model on class XI students' problem-solving abilities in sound wave material. This type of research is quasi quasi-experiment with a two-group pretest-posttest design. This research sample consisted of two classes: class XI IPA 7 as the control class and XI IPA 9 as the experimental class. The instrument used is a problem-solving ability test in the form of a description that has been validated. Based on the research results, the average pretest and posttest scores in the control class were 43,58 and 67,45, and the experimental class average was 40 and 75. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the difference test (t-test), sig (0.004) < 0.05 was obtained. Based on the N-gain test, it was obtained that the percentage increase in students' problem-solving abilities in the experimental class was 89% in the high category, and in the control class was 64% in the medium category. Based on statistical data, it can be concluded that there is an influence of implementing the STEM-based PjBL model on students' problem-solving abilities in sound wave material.

Abstract

Anemia merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang masih menjadi perhatian global, terutama di negara-negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Anemia sering kali disebabkan oleh kekurangan zat besi, yang dapat terjadi akibat pola makan tidak seimbang, kurangnya asupan gizi mikro, serta faktor sosial-ekonomi yang memengaruhi akses terhadap makanan bergizi. Pada anak usia sekolah (6-12 tahun), anemia dapat menghambat proses belajar dan berkontribusi pada penurunan produktivitas di masa depan. Selain itu, kurangnya pemahaman tentang pentingnya gizi seimbang di kalangan anak-anak dan orang tua juga menjadi faktor pemicu persistensi masalah ini. Oleh karena itu, deteksi dini anemia dan edukasi gizi menjadi langkah strategis untuk mencegah dampak jangka panjang yang merugikan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendekatan preventif melalui skrining anemia menggunakan metode sederhana dan efektif, serta memberikan edukasi gizi kepada anak-anak, guru, dan orang tua. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan screening anemia memalui pemeriksaan HB dan dilanjutkan dengan pemberian edukasi kesehatan tentang gizi pada anemia melalui metode ceramah dan tanya jawab. Media yang digunakan berupa power point terkait Gizi pada Anemia. Sebelum dan sesudah dilberikan edukasi, diberikan kuesioner untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan. Hasil pemeriksaan Hemoglobin menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VI SDN Lebak Wangi, Kabupaten Tangerang mayoritas siswa (60,6%) memiliki kadar Hb normal. Namun, terdapat 12 siswa (36,3%) yang mengalami anemia ringan-sedang. Ditemukan 1 siswa (3,0%) dengan anemia berat (Hb 6,6 g/dL) yang memerlukan rujukan segera. Berdasarkan hasil pengisian kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan tentang anemia menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi tentang gizi ada anemia. Sebelum diberikan edukasi didapatkan data Siswa kelas VI SDN Lebak Wangi, Kabupaten Tangerang.

Abstract

Peningkatan mutu pendidikan pada jenjang Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) menuntut penerapan manajemen berbasis data yang sistematis dan berkelanjutan. Rapor Pendidikan sebagai instrumen evaluasi nasional, menyediakan informasi komprehensif mengenai capaian kinerja sekolah. Pemanfaatan data tersebut dalam proses pengambilan keputusan di tingkat satuan pendidikan masih belum optimal, sehingga berbagai rekomendasi perbaikan sering kali tidak diimplementasikan secara efektif. Kondisi ini menunjukkan adanya ketidaksesuaian antara ketersediaan data dan penerapan strategi peningkatan mutu. Pendekatan manajerial yang mampu mengintegrasikan data Rapor Pendidikan ke dalam proses perbaikan berkelanjutan secara terstruktur sangat diperlukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis optimalisasi pemanfaatan Rapor Pendidikan melalui penerapan siklus Deming di SMKN Trowulan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menelaah regulasi pemerintah, laporan resmi pendidikan, dan penelitian relevan terkait manajemen mutu serta penerapan perbaikan berkelanjutan di sekolah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi data Rapor Pendidikan dalam setiap tahap siklus Deming dapat meningkatkan ketepatan perencanaan, efektivitas pelaksanaan program, ketajaman evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan tindak lanjut yang lebih terarah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan siklus Deming secara konsisten berpotensi memperkuat tata kelola sekolah, meningkatkan relevansi kurikulum, dan mendorong kesiapan lulusan menghadapi kebutuhan dunia kerja. Temuan tersebut berimplikasi pada penguatan budaya mutu di satuan pendidikan vokasi.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of residents of RT 07, Sukodono Village, Sidoarjo, in applying hydroponic technology as a solution for managing limited land and supporting food security. This activity consists of lectures and discussions, as well as the installation of a hydroponic system. During the lectures and discussions, residents were given an understanding of the basic principles of hydroponics, its benefits, and how to apply it in limited land. Discussions were held to explore more deeply the challenges and potential of applying hydroponics in a household environment. The final stage, the installation of the hydroponic system, involved residents directly in the creation and installation of a simple but effective hydroponic system. Although there was no harvest to report at the time of the activity, residents successfully understood and installed the hydroponic system correctly. This success shows that residents of RT 07, Sukodono Village have the potential to manage hydroponic gardens independently. This activity made a significant contribution to increasing food self-sufficiency at the local level, even though challenges in terms of maintenance and limited resources remain.

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the values of religious moderation contained in the SKI student textbook for tenth-grade students of Madrasah Aliyah for the odd semester published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2020, focusing on three main topics: the Development of Islam during the Prophet Muhammad’s period in Makkah, the Development of Islam during the Prophet Muhammad’s period in Madinah, and the Conquest of Makkah (Fathul Makkah). The study employed a qualitative approach with a library research design, using the SKI textbook as the primary source of data. The data were examined through content analysis and discourse analysis, following several stages, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the religious moderation values presented in the learning material. The results of the research indicated that the textbook substantially incorporated religious moderation values in a structured manner, consisting of eight values in the Makkah period topic—Tawasuth, I’tidal, Syuro, Islah, Muwathanah, Qudwah, La’Unf, and ‘Urf; six values in the Madinah period topic—Tawasuth, I’tidal, Tasamuh, Syuro, Islah, and Qudwah; and four values in the topic of the Conquest of Makkah—Tawasuth, I’tidal, Tasamuh, and Islah, all of which demonstrated efforts to strengthen religious moderation through SKI learning at the Madrasah Aliyah level.

Abstract

The understanding of mathematical concepts in elementary school students, especially in the material of plane figures, is still a common problem that appears in various studies due to the abstract characteristics of the material and is difficult for students to visualize. Although information technology-based media has been widely developed, the research gap is still visible in how the application of IT media is adapted in the real context of elementary school classes, especially in areas with limited facilities such as Gunungkembang Public Elementary School. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the use of IT-based learning media in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts in the material of plane figures. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation, which are analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The results of the study show that the use of IT-based media in the form of interactive videos and animations not only improves students' conceptual understanding abilities including explaining concepts, identifying the properties of plane figures, and solving contextual problems but also creates a more interactive and conducive classroom atmosphere, so that the dynamic visualizations presented make abstract concepts more concrete and make IT media an effective learning strategy for elementary school students.

Abstract

This community service (PkM) activity aims to improve the quality of Lecturer Workload (BKD) reporting and the integrity of lecturers' scientific publications through intensive outreach on identifying and avoiding predatory journals. Improving the quality of BKD is crucial considering that scientific publications are a key component in evaluating academic performance and submitting Credit Points (AK). The PkM was implemented in the form of a one-day workshop and outreach at each of the authors' affiliated campuses. The implementation method included material delivery (interactive lectures) and hands-on practice (journal identification simulations using Beall and DOAJ/Scopus criteria). Effectiveness was measured by comparing pre-test and post-test results to assess improvements in lecturers' competency and awareness. A total of 90 lecturers from three affiliated campuses fully participated in this activity. Statistical analysis showed an average increase in knowledge scores of 35% in the post-test (p < 0.01), indicating that the outreach successfully improved lecturers' understanding of the characteristics of predatory journals (e.g., promises of rapid publication, hidden fees, and lack of a credible peer-review process). Furthermore, there was an increase in lecturers' confidence in selecting reputable journals. This outreach model has proven effective in equipping lecturers with the knowledge and practical skills needed to protect their scientific work from the threat of predatory journals. The primary contribution of this PkM is to support higher education institutions' efforts to ensure the quality of Tridharma outputs and maintain the accountability of the BKD (Regional Research Service Agency) in accordance with national standards.
