Abstract

Dalam melakukan pemilihan beasiswa sering dilakukan secara objektif dan banyaknya mahasiswa yang mendaftar, sehingga akan sulit menentukan mahasiswa yang berhak untuk menerima beasiswa. Untuk mengatasi kelemahan ini maka diperlukan suatu sistem pengelolaan beasiswa berbasis komputer agar dapat mempersingkat pengelolaan beasiswa. Jenis sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk mengelola beasiswa adalah sistem pendukung keputusan. Sistem pendukung keputusan yang digunakan ada 2 dua yaitu Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) dan Technique For Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Untuk membuat sistem pendukung keputusan ini menggunakan perangkat lunak Visual Basic .Net 2008 dan menggunakan database Sql Server 2005. Pengujian sistem akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode black box testing dan white box testing. Sistem pendukung keputusan untuk proses penerimaan beasiswa yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan untuk memberikan alternatif keputusan bagi pimpinan sebagai pertimbangan dalam penyeleksian kandidat penerima beasiswa. Penelitian ini juga dapat mengetahui dan mendalami tentang metode yang digunakan.

Abstract

Information is not only needed by the community, but also companies, one of which is a company engaged in the field of education, namely STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan. There is a lot of information in STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan. Information about education, be it about students, lecturers, lecturer performance, information on student activities and lecturer Information has been based online. But not all information contained in STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan is based online or database based. One of them is information about the use of ATK information, ATK management still uses Microsoft Excel applications. Management of ATK with Microsoft Excel has disadvantages such as, data entered using sheets, with the amount of data when using sheets, it can make the ATK management section experiencing difficulties. Difficulties can be in the form of difficulty in finding the data needed, must use a formula that must be typed, the difficulty of making monthly reports to find out ATK expenditure. So it is difficult to make decisions in the management of ATK supplies. To facilitate the management of ATK inventory, a database-based application is needed. Abstract

Children are the individuals who are in a range of developmental changes starting from infants to teenagers. Childhood is a time of growth and development. Child development can be fast or slow depending on these factors. But what if the child's development is not as prevalent as thumb sucking, nail biting, head banging, biting or hitting herself, shaking, emotional changes, such behavior like anger venting frustration or upset about something. With the proliferation of computers today. The problems above can be used to help parents detect whether a child has a disorder or not is by using expert system (Expert System). Expert system menggandung specific knowledge so that any common man to use it to solve a specific problem. Design Expert System Diagnosis Developmental disorders in children with methods of Bayes, which is a process of inference that starting the search from the input data in the form of symptoms led to the conclusion that the conclusions by providing a solution to the suggestions based on the symptoms observed, aims to conduct consultations without having to meet doctor costly and time. This application is created by using Visual Basic .Net 2010 and SQL Server 2008. The application is built equipped with a knowledge management system that is easy to use and dynamic.

Abstract

This research focuses on the use of social media technology as a means of developing the character of Generation Z at the Medan Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP). In this digital era, social media has become an integral part of Generation Z's daily lives, influencing the way they interact, learn and develop. This study aims to explore the potential of social media in forming positive character, improving social skills, and encouraging professional development of trainees at BBPVP Medan. Through qualitative and quantitative approaches, this research analyzes the use of social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn in the context of vocational training. Data was collected through surveys, in-depth interviews, and participant observation of training participants and instructors. The research results show that targeted use of social media can improve soft skills such as digital communication, online collaboration and personal branding. In addition, it was found that the integration of educational content through social media can strengthen the values ​​of work ethics, creativity and lifelong learning among Generation Z. This research also identifies challenges and potential risks, and recommends strategies to maximize the benefits of social media in character development and vocational skills. It is hoped that these findings will provide valuable insights for the development of more effective curriculum and training methods at BBPVP Medan and other vocational training institutions in facing the unique needs of Generation Z in the digital era.

Abstract

Heart failure is a complex clinical syndrome characterized by objective evidence of an underlying structural abnormality or cardiac dysfunction that reduces the ability of the ventricles to fill or pump blood. One of the essential indicators in evaluating the condition of heart failure patients in treatment undergoing a cardiovascular rehabilitation program is an assessment of the ability to perform physical activity. Evaluation of physical activity ability can be determined through exercise capacity assessments such as the 6-minute walk test and Handgrip strength method. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between handgrip strength and the distance travelled in a 6-minute walking test in patients with heart failure. This was a cross-sectional study of 55 heart failure patients at the Integrated Heart Center Department of RSUP Dr M. Djamil Padang from February 2022 to December 2022. Based on the Pearson correlation test, there was a statistically significant result between handgrip strength and distance in the 6-minute walking test with a P value of 0.01 (p<0.05). There is a positive and statistically significant relationship between handgrips strength with a 6-minute walking test distance in heart failure patients.

Abstract

Boxity Central Indonesia merupakan perusahaan startup yang bergerak di bidang IT berlokasi di Jakarta Barat dan Medan dengan menyediakan layanan berbasis cloud yang berfokus pada pengembangan aplikasi ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) yang membantu mengintegrasikan semua proses bisnis. Salah satu proses rekrutmen yang ada di PT. Boxity Central Indonesia adalah Internship Content Writer. Pada PT. Boxity Central Indonesia masih saja terdapat karyawan Internship Content Writer yang memiliki kompetensi kurang baik sehingga efektivitas perusahaan berjalan lambat. Hal ini disebabkan karena proses seleksi penerimaan Internship Content Writer bukan berdasarkan kriteria yang ditentukan dan dalam prosesnya tidak menggunakan metode yang tepat. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, maka dibutuhkan pendekatan fuzzy logic. Metode Logika fuzzy yang digunakan adalah metode Tsukamoto. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu aplikasi seleksi penerimaan karyawan Internship Content Writer berbasis web. Sehingga dengan adanya aplikasi ini dapat mempermudah dan mempercepat dalam proses seleksi penerimaan karyawan Internship Content Writer.

Abstract

Lokasi adalah tempat dimana suatu usaha atau aktifitas dilakukan. Sedangkan usaha adalah proses jual beli barang atau jasa dengan tujuan memperoleh keuntungan. Maka dari itu pemilihan lokasi usaha harus strategis, dan lokasi ramai dan banyak orang lalu lalang, akses yang mudah di jangkau, besar pendapatan masyarakat sekitar, lahan parkir dan lain-lainnya. Lokasi usaha sangat penting untuk efisiensi dan efektifitas keberlanjutan jangka panjangnya. Untuk bertahan hidup, pengusaha harus bekerja keras dan menandingi pesaing mereka. Sistem Pendukung Keputusan dibuat untuk menentukan lokasi pindah usaha dengan menggunakan metode MOORA. Metode MOORA ini dalah pengoptimalan multi tujuan (pemrograman) juga di kenal sebagai pengoptimalan multi-kreteria atau beberapa atribut adalah proses mengoptimalkan secara bersamaan dua atau lebih atribut (tujuan) bersaing tunduk pada kendala tertentu. Metode ini sangat selektif karena tujuannya dapat di tentukan standar yang bertentangan di mana kriteria dapat bernilai menguntungkan (benefit) atau yang tidak menguntungkan (cost). Pembangunan sistem pendukung keputusan ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu perancangan basis pengatahuan dan direpresentasikan dalam bentuk aturan yang berlaku, kemudian dilanjutkan dalam perancangan basis data, dan kemudian hasil perancangan dituangkan ke dalam bahasa pemrograman berbasis web. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini, sistem pendukung keputusan ini mampu membantu Toko Alika dalam menentukan lokasi pindah usaha yang lebih strategis.

Abstract

Internship Content Writer adalah sebutan dari karyawan magang yang bertanggung jawab dalam memproduksi konten- konten yang menarik. Konten yang dibuat dapat berupa artikel, postingan media sosial, atau apapun yang ditulis dan dipublikasikan di platform online. Bidang pekerjaan ini sedang banyak dibutuhkan perusahaan untuk menjual dan memasarkan produk-produk mereka. Namun, masalah yang sering terjadi adalah banyak perusahaan yang masih menggunakan penilaian subjektif dan belum menggunakan sistem terkomputerisasi dalam proses perekrutan, salah satu perusahaan tersebut yaitu PT. Boxity Central Indonesia. Sehingga kandidat yang terpilih memiliki kompetensi yang kurang baik dan tidak optimal dalam bekerja. Solusi dari permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan sebuah Sistem Pendukung Keputusan dengan metode WASPAS. Metode WASPAS merupakan metode yang dapat mengurangi kesalahan dan mengoptimalkan dalam penafsiran untuk penilaian tertinggi sampai terendah. Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan kemudahan bagi PT. Boxity Central Indonesia dalam pengambilan keputusan dengan cepat pada proses perekrutan Internship Content Writer.

Abstract

Dapoer Mama Ana is one of the home industries carried out by Mrs. Mariana Harahap in the city of Medan, Kelurahan Gedung Johor, Medan Johor District, North Sumatra Province, the Dapoer Mama Ana home industry produces a variety of frozen food, namely variants of dim sum skin, kebab skin, risol , dimsum, batagor, meatballs and nuggets. Dapoer Mama Ana has several problems, namely in the marketing management section, product packaging and business management. Based on the problems faced by the owner of Dapoer Mama Ana, we as a team limit the problems that exist with Dapoer Mama Ana, namely problems in marketing management. An example of a part of marketing is promotion, which is an activity that focuses on the efforts of entrepreneurs as a whole in increasing sales of products or services as well as in introducing their innovations. When the promotion is carried out, determining the promotional media is a very important aspect. All forms of promotional media must be able to accommodate the objectives of the promotion, both as an effort to increase sales results and as an effort to develop a business brand image. Therefore, this Community Service will focus on the use of online promotional media in the form of branding on Dapoer Mama Ana.

Abstract

The Maysara Hijab shop is one of the businesses located in Binjai City, precisely on Jl. Tuanku Imam Bonjol. The Maysara Hijab shop does not only sell hijabs, but also clothes for women. In the sales process, the owner of the Maysara Hijab shop only sells offline, namely waiting for customers to come to the store. So there is no container used to promote online. This is because the owner does not know how to carry out promotions and create a marketplace for promotional containers in selling their products. With these problems, we, as the PKM team, assisted in creating a marketplace at Shopee and assisted in promotion on social media. This partnership activity starts with registering to create an account for shop owners at Shopee, then creating a shop and entering product data and registering a free shipping shop. When the Maysara Hijab Shop was finished, the PKM Team assisted in training on using the Shopee Marketplace from entering new products, accepting orders and shipping products and disbursing funds from product sales. As a result of this PKM activity, it is hoped that the owner can independently manage his marketplace and be able to use the marketplace
