Abstract

Thought for a second This study aims to describe the improvement in ninth-grade students’ mathematics learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 23 Medan following the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. The research employed a classroom action research design, with the subjects being students of class IX-B at SMP Negeri 23 Medan during the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The research instrument used was a series of formative assessments. Data were collected through four phases: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach: first, student scores were tabulated and their classical completeness percentages calculated; scores meeting the school’s minimum completeness criterion (KKM) of 75 were considered to have reached mastery. The results showed that in Cycle I, 53.57% of students achieved mastery, which then increased to 82.1% in Cycle II. Since the classical completeness target was met in Cycle II, the research was concluded at that point. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of the TaRL approach in instruction can enhance students’ mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the development process, the feasibility according to media and material experts, teacher assessments, and student responses to the electronic student worksheets (e-LKPD) based on a contextual approach assisted by Canva on green chemistry material that has been developed.The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Hannafin and Pack development model, which consists of 3 stages: Analysis, Planning, Development/Implementation.The instruments used were interview sheets and questionnaires.The data analysis techniques used are qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis.The results of this study indicate that the contextual approach-based e-LKPD on green chemistry material received feasibility validation from media experts with an average score of 4.7 and material experts with an average score of 4.7, both categorized as very feasible.Obtained an assessment by teachers with an average score of 4.6 in the very good category and student responses to the e-LKPD media with a percentage of 89.47% in the very good category.Based on the research results of developing e-LKPD using a contextual approach assisted by Canva on Green Chemistry material, this media is suitable for use as a learning medium in chemistry education.

Abstract

The tourist village in Sukabumi Regency possess significant tourism potential. However, the management of tourism destinations remains suboptimal. Additionally, the lack of skills and competencies among tourism actors presents a major constraint on the development of the region's tourism sector. This training program aims to enhance the capacity, quality, and roles of stakeholders in the tourism sector of Sukabumi Regency, particularly in relation to tourism communication. The training approach employed lectures, group discussions, and simulations (role playing), involving participants from tourism practitioners and enthusiasts across the tourist villages in Sukabumi Regency. The results of the training indicate an improvement in the abilities and skills of tourism actors in managing and effectively promoting tourism destinations.

Abstract

The purpose of holding this community service program is to provide training to subject teachers at Vocational High Schools (SMK) on the integration of numeracy skills in subjects taught at SMK. The method used to run this program is the direct talk show method between the resource persons and the participants of the training program. The results obtained from this activity are (1) the positive response from all participants to the program we hold; (2) response to the attractiveness of the presentation of material 84.44% in the very interesting category, 11.11% in the interesting category, and 4.45%; The response to benefits was 95% in the very useful category and 5% in the beneficial category. Another result that we obtained from this activity is an increase in knowledge about the integration of numeracy skills into several subjects in Vocational High Schools. This proves that teachers as the main figures in the world of education can be directly involved in helping the government in improving numeracy skills. Teachers can provide simple examples of students' life problems, so that students can directly apply their knowledge of numeracy. The habituation of students in solving problems about numeracy is also a driver to improve numeracy skills in the students themselves.

Abstract

The design of a church building involves more than functional and structural aspects; it also encompasses symbolic, spiritual, and cultural values. This study analyzes the application of architectural concepts in the design of the Church through a literature review and field study approach. The results show that the church’s design not only reflects religious values but also accommodates strong historical and aesthetic elements through architectural components such as building orientation, fundamental forms, natural lighting, and religious symbols. The overall design integrates sacred and social functions harmoniously, making the church a spiritual center as well as a community space.

Abstract

Peningkatan kapasitas aparatur desa dalam pelayanan publik merupakan hal yang sangat penting karena aparatur desa memiliki peran penting sebagai garda terdepan dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat desa. Aparatur desa harus memiliki kemampuan, keterampilan, pengetahuan, dan sikap yang memadai agar dapat menjalankan tugas dan fungsi pokoknya secara efektif dan efisien. Hal tersebut berkaitan erat dengan upaya peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui pelayanan publik yang berkualitas.Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarahat ini diharapkan adanya peningkatan kualitas aparatur Desa Hulawa sebagai birokrat yang melayani dan responsif dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di aula Kantor Desa Hulawa yang dihadiri oleh Kepada Desa Hulawa beserta seluruh staf dan jajarannya yang berjumlah 18 orang.

Abstract

This study aims to optimize the teaching of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in elementary schools through an integrative and inclusive approach, in order to enhance the quality of education that is relevant and comprehensive for all students. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, to explore the implementation of integrative teaching practices that combine Islamic values with general subjects, as well as an inclusive approach that involves students with special needs. The results of the study show that integrative learning can improve students' understanding of Islamic teachings in the context of daily life by linking religious values to other subjects. Meanwhile, the inclusive approach provides an opportunity for all students, including those with special needs, to actively engage in the learning process. The use of experiential learning methods, projects, and group discussions has been shown to increase student involvement and motivation. However, there are still challenges in its implementation, particularly related to teacher training and the availability of supporting facilities. This study recommends enhancing professional teacher training and developing adequate resources as strategic steps to support the success of integrative and inclusive Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching in elementary schools.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase community participation in development programs implemented by the Sungai Jingah Village government. This activity is carried out through socialization which aims to optimize the performance of the village government in implementing development programs by involving active community participation. Increasing community participation is very important in creating sustainable development and in accordance with community needs. The program implemented involves various stakeholders, such as village officials, community leaders, and local residents. Through an educational approach, it is hoped that the community can understand the importance of their role in village development and contribute to decision making. The results of this activity show an increase in community understanding of their role in development and increased participation in development programs in Sungai Jingah Village.

Abstract

Kreativitas guru dan media pembelajaran merupakan komponen terpenting pembelajaran anak, karena keduanya mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik, interaktif, dan menstimulus berbagai aspek perkembangan anak. Tujuan penelitian untuk bagaimana Kreativitas guru memanfaatkan bahan alam sebagai media belajar untuk menstimulus aspek perkembangan anak kelompok TK B di PAUD Kasih Ibu Kempas. Subjek penelitian, 25 anak dan 2 guru. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles Huberman terdiri dari mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Kreativitas guru memanfaatkan bahan alam meliputi: Membuat Kupu-Kupu Dari Daun Singkong, Mengecap Menggunakan Pelepah Pisang, Menciplak Daun Menggunakan Kuas Pelepah Pisang, Kolase Menggunakan Ampas Kelapa, Memasangkan Angka Kerang Pada Angka Kotak Telur, Membentuk Huruf Menggunakan Kulit Kerang, Mangikuti Pola Geometri Menggunakan Batu, Membuat Sate Buah, Menghitung dan Mengurang Isi Jeruk. (2) Pemanfaatan bahan alam sebagai media belajar dapat menstimulasi seluruh aspek perkembangan anak, baik perkembangan kognitif, moral agama, bahasa, sosial emosional, motorik halus, seni dan kreativitas anak.

Abstract

In general, the people of Kedungbanjar Village rely on the agricultural and entrepreneurial sectors. The fertile land of Kedungbanjar Village makes many plants grow well there, including Moringa plants. However, the people of Kedungbajar Village still have minimal skills to utilize Moringa plants (Moringa oleifera). Moringa plants that grow abundantly in Kedungbanjar Village can actually be used as one of the mainstay commodities that can be developed further to support the community's economy and to prevent stunting. The method used is to provide training to PKK mothers in Kedungbanjar Village, Sugio District, Lamongan Regency, which begins with conducting observations first regarding the potential in Kedungbanjar Village and analyzing community conditions, then continuing with analyzing the needs of the community, and preparing plans for what to do next. The second stage is to conduct socialization to residents about the benefits of Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera). The third stage is to provide training in making Moringa leaf sticks to PKK mothers in Kedungbanjar Village. The fourth stage is evaluation and continued mentoring after the training ends until the PKK mothers can independently increase the selling value of the Moringa leaf sticks.
