Abstract

Preaching is essentially an act of faith performed by Muslims, such as preachers, media, messages, audiences, methods, and responses. One way to carry out da'wah is by reading literary works. To ensure that da'wah can achieve its goals and objectives optimally. Literature is a product of art that discusses human values and how to use language to express life. The purpose of this research is to discover and analyze Tere Liye's novel "Si Anak Pemberani" to identify the Islamic values contained within it, such as courage, honesty, patience, responsibility, and social concern, and how these values can be used as messages of Islamic preaching in terms of faith, sharia, and morality. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with content analysis. The research results show that Tere Liye's novel "Si Anak Pemberani" predominantly contains moral messages (akhlak) such as courage, honesty, responsibility, and social concern. The novel can be categorized as da'wah bil qalam, a written medium that is effective in conveying Islamic values contextually to young readers.

Abstract

This study, entitled "The Relationship Between Fathers' Roles and the Moral Development of Adolescents in Neighborhood Associations (RT) 29 and 40, Jakabaring District, Palembang," aims to determine the role of fathers in raising adolescents and the relationship between fathers' roles and the moral development of adolescents in RT 29 and RT 40, Jakabaring District. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational approach. The sample size for this study was 30 respondents. Simple random sampling was used for the study, and a questionnaire was used for data analysis. SPSS version 20 was used for data processing with a product-moment correlation. The validity test level was 0.361 and the reliability test level was 0.7. The results of this study indicate that the level of fathers' role in raising adolescents is classified as moderate. 77% of adolescents received moderate scores for moral development. Meanwhile, 66% of adolescents received moderate scores for moral development. There was a significant relationship between the father's role and adolescent moral development, with a product-moment correlation of 0.771 and a significance level of 5%. The results of this study indicate a relationship between the father's role and adolescent moral development.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technologies has reshaped the structure and dynamics of the tourism sector, particularly in destinations that rely on local economic and cultural resources. This study examines how digital business ecosystems influence the development of locally based tourism by focusing on digitally mediated interactions among local actors, platforms, and tourists. Employing a qualitative netnographic approach, the research analyzes publicly available online content from social media platforms, digital marketplaces, and travel-related online communities. The findings reveal that digital platforms function as central nodes that enable market access, value co-creation, and narrative construction for local tourism actors. Digital storytelling and interactive engagement enhance visibility and economic opportunities; however, benefits are uneven due to disparities in digital literacy, infrastructure, and platform dependency. The study also identifies socio-cultural implications, including increased cultural visibility alongside risks of commodification and misrepresentation. These findings highlight that digital transformation in tourism is not solely a technological process but a socio-economic and cultural one that requires inclusive governance and capacity-building. The study contributes to the literature on digital ecosystems and community-based tourism by providing empirical insights into how digitalization shapes local tourism development and sustainability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang representasi konflik antara hukum dan vigilantisme dalam film Sheriif: Narko Integrity dengan fokus pada relasi moral antara karakter Sheriff dan Nazri. Film ini dipilih karena menghadirkan persoalan keadilan secara kompleks dan tidak hitam-putih, melalui pertarungan batin antara aparat penegak hukum ditengah kegagalan sistem hukum melindungi korban. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis semiotika Roland Barthes melalui tahapan denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. Teori representasi Stuart Hall digunakan sebagai kerangka utama untuk membaca pembentukan makna hukum dan vigilantisme dalam film, sedangkan teori konflik sosial digunakan sebagai pendukung untuk memahami pertentangan antara individu dan struktur institusional. Metodologi penelitian ini bersifat interpretatif-deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi teks visual dan naratif terhadap adegan-adegan kunci yang merepresentasikan hukum, vigilantisme dan konflik moral antar tokoh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hukum direpresentasikan sebagai institusi yang sah secara prosedural tetapi lambat dan terbatas dalam menghadirkan keadilan secara substantif. Vigilantisme Nazri ditampilkan sebagai respons emosional atas kegagalan hukum, bukan sebagai solusi ideal. Sheriff direpresentasikan sebagai simbol hukum yang berjuang menjaga integritas institusi, sementara Nazri sebagai figur yang terjebak antara trauma dan profesinya sebagai polisi. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa film tidak memihak secara mutlak pada hukum maupun vigilantisme, tetapi menempatkan keduanya sebagai dua kutub moral yang sama-sama problematis hingga keadilan dipahami sebagai konflik antara aturan dan nurani manusia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas konsep tarbiyah (pendidikan) dan hati (qalb) dalam perspektif Islam serta keterkaitan keduanya dalam pembinaan keimanan. Tarbiyah dalam Islam tidak hanya dimaknai sebagai proses transfer ilmu, tetapi sebagai proses pembinaan bertahap menuju kesempurnaan akhlak, iman, dan amal. Hati dipandang sebagai pusat kesadaran spiritual dan penentu kualitas keimanan seseorang. Oleh karena itu, kondisi hati—baik lembut, sakit, maupun keras—menjadi faktor utama dalam keberhasilan pendidikan ruhani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari sumber-sumber primer berupa Al-Qur’an, hadis Nabi ﷺ, serta kitab-kitab tafsir dan karya ulama klasik, serta didukung oleh literatur sekunder yang relevan. Analisis dilakukan melalui teknik analisis isi (content analysis) untuk mengkaji dalil-dalil dan penjelasan ulama secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerasnya hati disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, di antaranya banyak berbicara tanpa dzikir, ingkar janji, banyak tertawa, banyak makan, serta banyak melakukan dosa. Adapun pelembut hati meliputi memperbanyak dzikir dan membaca Al-Qur’an, menyayangi anak yatim, mengingat kematian, berziarah kubur, mengambil pelajaran dari umat terdahulu, serta menjaga kehalalan makanan. Dengan demikian, tarbiyah yang berorientasi pada pembinaan hati menjadi kunci utama dalam membentuk pribadi muslim yang beriman, bertakwa, dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

Village head elections are a manifestation of local democracy that not only involve competition between candidates but are also influenced by the roles of powerful social actors at the village level. This study aims to analyze the role of local elites in garnering political support and understand the community's response to the influence of local elites on the village head election stages for the 2023-2028 period in Pangal-Panggal Village, Semidang Aji District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study consisted of two influential local elites: the former head of Panggal-Panggal village for the 2004-2010 period, and a community leader who also served as a village elder and a member of the Panggal-Panggal village community. To strengthen the data on village government assistance, he also served as an informant in this study. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model using role theory and political support theory as an analytical framework. Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of conflict between traders and market managers during the development of a new local market at Pasar Pagi Betung, Banyuasin Regency. The development of the new local market, which aims to improve the organization and function of traditional markets, has instead given rise to various social and economic problems for traders. The conflict stems from unequal power relations, limited involvement of traders in policy-making processes, and differences in economic access between traders who remain in the old local market and those who occupy the new local market. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with traders, market managers, and representatives of government agencies responsible for market management, and was supported by field observations and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the conflict reflects the command-obey-class relationship as explained in Ralf Dahrendorf's conflict theory, where market managers and the government have policy authority, while traders are in a position to adapt to these decisions. The impacts of the new local development are felt unevenly, including decreased income, insecurity, and unequal economic opportunities. This study concludes that conflict is a consequence of a development process that is not fully participatory, necessitating more inclusive and equitable conflict management.

Abstract

This study examines the practices of citizenship politics among the Warna Sriwijaya transpuan community in Palembang City within conditions of social and structural constraints. Although transpuan are administratively recognized as citizens, they continue to face social stigma, discrimination, and the absence of legal recognition of gender identity. This study aims to analyze forms of citizenship political practices, the fulfillment of rights, and the political participation of the transpuan community at the local level. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is conducted using Kristian Stokke’s framework of citizenship politics, combined with Nancy Fraser’s concept of social justice. The findings indicate that the Warna Sriwijaya transpuan community has exercised citizenship politics through voting rights, political engagement, and interactions with local government. Access to administrative and health services is relatively available; however, the right to decent work remains limited due to an employment system that is not yet inclusive. Overall, the fulfillment of transpuan citizenship rights remains partial.

Abstract

Ekstrak etanol dari daun tanaman gamal (Gliricidia sepium f. maculata (Kunth)) memiliki senyawa aktif metabolit sekunder yaitu saponin, flavonoid, alkaloid dan tanin yang berfungsi secara aktif dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak etanol daun gamal menggunakan ektraksi maserasi terhadap bakteri Propionibacterium acnes ATCC-6919 dengan metode uji difusi cakram. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil diameter zona hambat pada ekstrak etanol daun gamal dengan nilai rendemen 6,9% yakni terjadi peningkatan efektivitas antibakteri seiring dengan kenaikan konsentrasi ekstrak etanol daun gamal dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Propionibacterium acnes ATCC-6919, yaitu pada pada konsentrasi 20% dan 40% tidak menghasilkan doza hambat, sedangkan pada konsentrasi 60% diameter rata rata zona hambat adalah 5,5 mm, dan pada konsentrasi 80% diameter rata-rata zona hambat adalah 8,5 mm. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa ekstrak etanol daun gamal dapat menghambat bakteri Propionibacterium acnes ATCC-6919 pada konsentrasi 60% dengan diameter zona hambat sebesar 5,5 mm kategori sedang, dan pada konsentrasi 80% dengan rata-rata diameter zona hambat sebesar 8,5 mm kategori sedang.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The rapid growth of the retail industry in Indonesia has intensified competition, including for Miniso in Singaraja, which faces challenges in increasing Generation Z’s purchase intention despite having a positive brand image. The gap between favorable brand perception and low purchase intention indicates the importance of social media marketing strategies and brand image in driving consumer purchase intention. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between social media marketing and brand image on Generation Z’s purchase intention. This study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that social media marketing and brand image partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Generation Z’s purchase intention. This study confirms that optimizing social media marketing and strengthening brand image are effective strategies for Miniso in Singaraja to increase Generation Z’s purchase intention.
