Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the teacher in strengthening the character of reading in class III students through the school literacy movement at SD Negeri 14 Masalima. The method used is a descriptive analysis method using data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results are as follows: strengthening the character of fond of reading, strengthening curiosity, planning, implementing, and evaluating GLS, program implementation has reached 3 stages, namely the habituation, development, and learning stages. The obstacles are: Some students' motivation to read is still low, lack of initiative in students to read, lack of collection of books in the reading corner, books in the reading corner are rarely replaced and there are still some students who are still not fluent in reading. The solution to solving the problem is by motivating students, guiding and directing students, providing good facilities (infrastructure),

Abstract

The aim of the study was to identify the ability to write children's poetry in fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Mallengkeri I Makassar City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation, while the instruments I used were observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis using descriptive qualitative analysis, it was stated that the ability to write poetry for fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Mallengkeri I, Makassar City obtained good results but still needs to be trained. Obstacles in writing children's poetry and how to overcome them in class V students at SD Inpres Mallengkeri I Makassar City, namely especially in writing spelling as well as the relationship between one paragraph and another paragraph, limited by the time given by the teacher so that students are unable to think quietly. The way to overcome this is that they are often given more practice and given special guidance in writing or repeated writing and given directions and explanations about using good spelling.

Abstract

Education in general is very important to create human beings with character, but it turns out that the Bontokamase people still don't understand the importance of education, the lack of awareness of the Bontokamase people towards education is due to their established level of economic growth. ) then the mindset that is built related to education is only limited to being good at reading, counting, and writing. The purpose of this research is to add to the study, especially Fixed Mindset Resistance in influencing public awareness of education. This type of qualitative research is the result of field research and uses a sociological approach. The results of the study showed that the factors that caused the Bontokamase community to have a low level of education awareness were the hereditary factors that their parents had never attended school but that did not mean they were incapable financially, financially they were able to go to school but the cause was that they do not go to school because they have a large area of agricultural land to work on and according to them the results are more promising compared to studying which takes a long time and it is also difficult to get a job. Diplomas are only a formality in getting a job, diplomas no longer have anything to do with intelligence, graduates become unemployed because it is difficult to get a job with a diploma so this becomes a reference that education is not a guarantee of one's success.

Abstract

The research carried out was class action research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles which included four meetings. Data collection techniques are observation, test (evaluation), and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed an increase in social studies learning outcomes for fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Sarudu V, Pasangkayu Regency. Likewise, the observed data in each cycle showed a positive change in student attitudes. The above can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes, namely the class average score in the pre-cycle was 72 then in the first cycle it became 72 and in the second cycle it became 77. The number of students who were able to achieve KKM ≥ 70 in the pre-cycle there were 11 students, in the second cycle I have 14 students, and in cycle II there are 21 students. The percentage of completeness in the pre-cycle was 52%, the first cycle was 66% and the second cycle was 100%, so that in the second cycle, more than 80% of students achieved the KKM criteria ≥70.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the movement teacher program and to assess the program in terms of context, input, process, and product in Cikarang Pusat District, Bekasi Regency, which has been implemented. This research uses an evaluative approach with a descriptive method, and data collection is conducted qualitatively. Qualitative research is aimed at understanding the phenomenon of what is experienced by the research subjects. The results of this research indicate that the Context Evaluation has mostly met the criteria required for implementing the program. Meanwhile, the Input Evaluation shows that most of the criteria have been met in the implementation of the Movement Teacher Program. Based on the data previously presented regarding the implementation of the program process evaluation, the Movement Teacher Program has fulfilled the requirements. The Product Evaluation concludes that this program has had a significant positive impact on education in the region. There has been an improvement in student achievement and the development of teacher skills.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) Implementation of Islamic Religious Education in increasing understanding and practice of Islamic values in Sepon Village, Lamasi District, Luwu Regency and 2) To determine the supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic Religious Education in Sepon Village, Lamasi District, Luwu Regency.This research is a qualitative field research with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using qualitative analysis. The results of this study are: 1) The implementation of Islamic religious education in Sepon Village does not occur completely, only partially because in Islamic religious education one must first understand or have knowledge before practicing Islamic teachings 2) Islamic religious education in Sepon Village is influenced several supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors, namely the existence of government support for religious activities such as recitation and the establishment of a religious assembly, whose orientation can help the community to understand and practice Islamic teachings, are two ways the government helps Sepon Village, Lamasi District in implementing Islam. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the good condition of facilities from in terms of human resources, namely coaches or ustadz/ustadzah and buildings that are still lacking in being an obstacle to carrying out religious activities so that they affect people who are lacking in Islamic religious knowledge.

Abstract

Introduction to science should be done from an early age with fun activities and through habituation so that children experience the science process directly. This is done so that children not only know the results but can also understand the process of the science activities they do. This study aims to determine the effect of science learning media on children's cognitive abilities at Mutiara Laut Kindergarten, Oluhuta Village, Kabila Bone sub-district, Bone Bolango district. The research method used in this research is an experimental method that is carried out to determine the effect given to the experimental class. This research is planned to be carried out at Mutiara Laut Kindergarten, Oluhuta Village, Kabila Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency. The data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaire, and documentation. based on the results of the research that has been discussed in the discussion above, it can be concluded that there is an effect of simple science learning methods on the cognitive abilities of children aged 4-5 years, as evidenced by the normality test of the pretest results of 0.757, then the normality test of the posttest results of 0.147. For hypothesis testing, the results of t count are 39.528 and t table 2.1009. These results show t count> t table with α 0.05, which means the hypothesis Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are one part of the management that exists in educational institutions, facilities and infrastructure have a very important role in an organization, institution or educational institution. the purpose of this research is to find out the obstacles, namely the not optimal implementation of the management of infrastructure facilities and the lack of inadequate learning media. In this study used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Based on the results of research and data analysis on the management of facilities and infrastructure in improving the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 1 Buntulia, the author can conclude that most of the planning, procurement, maintenance, inventory, and disposal processes have been carried out well. Management of facilities and infrastructure is very influential on the quality of learning at school in this case, namely learning planning is mostly well achieved, learning implementation is well achieved, and learning outcomes are mostly the achievement of student achievement in the fields of attitude, behavior, knowledge, and skills.

Abstract

This research is an experimental research conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Maros. This study aims to determine the relationship between living environment and learning motivation with student achievement. The population in this study were all grade XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Maros in the fisheries department in the 2023/2024 academic year. Furthermore, the sample in this study was 100% of the population, namely 72 students. The instruments used to collect data in this study were a questionnaire of student learning motivation factors and a questionnaire of living environment factors. Meanwhile, to obtain data on student learning achievement, researchers took student test scores for the 2023/2024 school year. In this study, two statistical analysis techniques were used, namely descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis. Based on the results of descriptive and inferential analysis, it was found that: 1) there is a significant positive relationship between neighborhood factors and student learning achievement. The amount of variation that occurs in the value of the student learning achievement variable that can be explained by the score of the living environment factor is 26.35%. The relationship is expressed in the regression equation = 29.122 + 0.5765X1. This shows that in general the factors of the student's living environment make a positive contribution in an effort to improve student learning achievement, 2) there is a significant positive relationship between student learning motivation factors and student learning achievement. The amount of variation that occurs in the value of the student learning achievement variable that can be explained by the score of the student learning motivation factor is 95.58%. The relationship is expressed in the regression equation = 2.6568 + 1.0015X2. This shows that in general the student learning motivation factor makes a positive contribution in an effort to improve student learning achievement, and 3) there is a significant positive relationship between environmental factors and student learning motivation factors together with student learning achievement. The amount of variation that occurs in the value of the student learning achievement variable that can be explained by the score of the living environment factor and the student learning motivation factor together is 95.72%. The relationship is expressed in the regression equation = 1.2276 + 0.0475X1 + 0.9802X2. This shows that in general, the living environment factor and the student learning motivation factor make a positive contribution in an effort to improve student learning achievement.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through a problem-based learning model using the guided discovery method for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Latambaga. This research was carried out in the even semester with a total of 28 students consisting of 9 men and 18 women. The procedures for this research are planning, implementing actions, observing and evaluating, and reflecting. The data sources in this research are mathematics teachers (partner teachers), observers and students. The type of data collected is quantitative data, in the form of student learning outcomes and qualitative data, namely the results of observations of teachers as researchers and of students. The data collected was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The research results showed that the average value of students' mathematics learning outcomes in cycle I was 63.14% with a classical completion presentation of 37.03% but had not yet reached the predetermined performance indicators. In cycle II, the average score for mathematics learning outcomes was 74.62% with a classical completeness presentation of 81.48% and the performance indicators had been met, namely 80% of students got a score ≥ 72. Problem-based learning model (Problem Based Instruction) It can also increase students' enthusiasm, motivation to succeed and enthusiasm during learning, based on the results of observations by researchers, partner teachers and observers. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that by implementing a problem-based learning model (Problem Based Instruction) using the guided discovery method with Basic Competencies in calculating the surface area of the Volume of Cubes and Blocks, it can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Latambaga.
