Abstract

This article discusses Adat Badamai as a form of dispute resolution commonly practiced by the Banjar community. Adat Badamai refers to the outcome of a deliberative or consultative process aimed at reaching a decision to resolve a problem. In Indonesian criminal law, previously, the resolution of criminal cases always emphasized formal judicial processes, without accommodating alternative methods of dispute resolution outside the judicial process. However, with the ratification of the national criminal law, it is now stated that criminal cases can be resolved outside of judicial proceedings, meaning that if a criminal case is resolved outside the judicial process, the right to pursue legal action is waived, and the case is considered closed. Adat Badamai, which prioritizes a deliberative approach toward consensus, reflects the spirit of the Sultan Adam Law. Under this custom, when a dispute arises—whether civil or criminal—the village elders will take the initiative to bring together the families of the conflicting parties. A ceremony is held, during which the parties exchange apologies, and sometimes a pact is made to prevent further escalation of the dispute. On various occasions, they engage in what is called "maangkat dangsanak", meaning they are bound together as family or kin.

Abstract

This study examines the role of social media influencer communication in shaping the attitudes and consumer behavior of Generation Z in urban areas. As digital natives, Generation Z is highly influenced by social media content, particularly that which is delivered by influencers across platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. This generation values authenticity and relatability, and influencers who exhibit these qualities significantly impact their purchasing decisions and brand perceptions. Using a qualitative approach, this research synthesizes existing literature on influencer marketing, consumer behavior, and Generation Z, identifying key trends such as the importance of trust and credibility in influencer communication. The study finds that social media influencers, through their perceived authenticity, have a profound effect on Generation Z's consumer attitudes, leading to changes in brand loyalty and purchase intentions. Additionally, the research highlights that influencers’ ability to foster a sense of community and connection further amplifies their influence. The findings underscore the growing significance of influencers in the marketing strategies targeting Generation Z, especially in urban areas where digital content consumption is prevalent.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has posed significant challenges to legal systems and the protection of constitutional rights globally. Restrictions on fundamental rights, such as freedom of movement, assembly, and work, imposed by governments to protect public health, have sparked debates on the extent to which constitutional rights can be limited during a global health emergency. This study aims to analyze how different legal systems in various countries address the limitation of constitutional rights during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a focus on the principles of necessity, proportionality, and non-discrimination in the framework of international human rights law. Using a qualitative approach through literature study and library research, this article examines various constitutional legal frameworks, emergency laws, and the application of relevant international human rights principles. The findings show that although many countries have constitutional provisions allowing for the restriction of certain rights during emergencies, the application of the principles of proportionality and necessity varies. The study also highlights the critical role of judicial oversight to ensure that rights limitations are not excessive and are applied fairly, and the importance of aligning national laws with international human rights standards. The implications of this research suggest the need for long-term legal reforms to ensure just and non-discriminatory limitations of rights in future global health emergencies.

Abstract

Indonesia faces a critical challenge in tackling stunting, with the country ranking third in Southeast Asia for its prevalence. From 2005 to 2017, the average stunting rate for toddlers was 36.4%, which slightly decreased to 30.8% by 2018. However, as of 2023, Central Sulawesi continues to report a high stunting prevalence of 27.2%. This growth issue severely impacts cognitive development and academic performance, leading to delayed motor skills and reduced IQ. A survey from the Tolitoli Regency Health Office indicated significant nutritional problems, particularly in the Baolan Community Health Center's jurisdiction. Despite efforts to address malnutrition, no formal training on anthropometric measurements and stunting prevention was provided to Posyandu (Integrated Health Post) cadres. This study aims to empower these cadres by providing them with training on anthropometric measurements and assessing children's nutritional status using the WHO standard Z-Score method. This community service initiative involves lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice for health cadres, with the goal of improving their skills in child nutritional status assessment, ultimately contributing to the national effort to reduce stunting.

Abstract

The principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) have become an essential foundation for ensuring business sustainability, stakeholder trust, and competitiveness in modern corporate practices. In Indonesia, the urgency of implementing GCG has increased following corporate scandals that revealed weaknesses in transparency, accountability, and oversight, often resulting in costly business disputes. This study aims to analyze the role of GCG in both preventing and resolving business disputes in Indonesian companies. Using a qualitative method with a systematic literature review, the research integrates findings from scholarly articles, regulatory documents, and case studies. Data were examined through thematic content analysis to identify patterns and relationships between governance practices and dispute outcomes. The results indicate that companies with strong GCG are significantly more effective in dispute prevention and resolution through mechanisms such as arbitration and mediation, thereby minimizing reliance on lengthy litigation. Case studies of PT Bank Century and PT Jiwasraya highlight how governance failures escalated disputes, while examples from PT Telkom illustrate the benefits of transparency and fairness in enabling constructive settlement. The findings suggest that GCG serves a dual role: as a preventive shield reducing the likelihood of disputes and as a dispute-resolution framework ensuring efficiency and fairness when conflicts arise. This study contributes to both academic discourse and practical policy recommendations, emphasizing that GCG is not merely regulatory compliance but a strategic necessity for corporate resilience and sustainable growth in Indonesia.

In today’s globalized marketplace, supply chains are under immense pressure to operate with greater efficiency, transparency, and sustainability. Rapid technological advancements—such as blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and advanced analytics—are enabling firms to reconfigure traditional processes and achieve these goals simultaneously. This study aims to develop an integrated framework of digital transformation in supply chain management, focusing on its impact on efficiency, transparency, and business sustainability. Using a qualitative literature review method, data were drawn from recent scholarly articles, industry reports, and institutional publications to provide a comprehensive understanding of digital transformation practices. Findings indicate that blockchain enhances trust and transparency through immutable records; IoT improves efficiency via real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance; and AI, when combined with big data, enables proactive decision-making and resource optimization. Importantly, these technologies achieve maximum impact when embedded within redesigned business processes and compliance mechanisms, ensuring alignment with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. The study also highlights significant sustainability outcomes, including waste reduction, carbon footprint minimization, and ethical sourcing verification, with real-world applications observed in industries such as food, logistics, and manufacturing. Overall, this research contributes to both theory and practice by presenting a holistic digital transformation model that integrates technological enablers, process redesign, and compliance systems. This framework provides managers with actionable guidance to align digital adoption with strategic objectives, regulatory demands, and long-term sustainability imperatives.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of green economy public policies on investment in the green industry sector. The transition to a green economy, driven by environmental sustainability goals, has led to significant policy changes aimed at promoting eco-friendly practices across various sectors. This research uses a qualitative literature review method to examine existing studies, reports, and academic papers on how public policies related to green economy initiatives influence investments in green industries. Key areas of focus include the role of government incentives, regulatory frameworks, market demand for sustainable products, and the financial risks and opportunities associated with green investments. The findings suggest that effective green economy policies can attract investments by providing financial incentives, reducing risks, and fostering innovation in clean technologies. However, challenges such as inadequate policy implementation, lack of awareness, and financial barriers still hinder the growth of green industry investments. This study contributes to the understanding of how green economy policies can shape investment flows in the green industry sector and provides recommendations for improving policy effectiveness to drive sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Transforming primary healthcare in Indonesia through integrated, lifecycle-based approaches is a strategic effort to achieve a high-value, high-quality health system. This study analyzes the role of family medicine within Indonesia’s primary care model, highlighting how family doctors contribute to improved healthcare accessibility, continuity, and responsiveness. Family doctors serve as frontline providers across lifecycle clusters—including maternal and child health, productive adult care, elderly care, and infectious disease control. Their role in managing chronic illnesses, mental health, and preventive care is essential within the Indonesian context, as they deliver comprehensive services that address the biological, psychological, and social determinants of health. Digital integration through the Platform Satu Sehat and the Pemantauan Wilayah Setempat (PWS) dashboard supports real-time health monitoring, enabling family doctors to make data-driven decisions and provide proactive care. In addition, family doctors extend their impact through community engagement, leading immunization campaigns, health education, and public health initiatives. They also serve as patient advocates by coordinating multidisciplinary teams and guiding individuals through complex healthcare pathways. This Indonesia-based model demonstrates the potential of family medicine to drive sustainable, community-based primary care transformation and provides a replicable framework for other low- and middle-income countries. The findings reinforce the critical role of family doctors as a foundation for equitable access, improved quality of care, and resilient health systems.

Abstract

In the context of increasing global competition, Indonesian companies are under pressure to improve their logistics and supply chain systems. Digital technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), enterprise resource planning (ERP), cloud-based supply chain management (SCM), and blockchain have become strategic necessities rather than optional tools. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of digital technology adoption in enhancing efficiency, transparency, speed, and sustainability in logistics, while also examining its impact on competitiveness and innovation. Using a qualitative literature review method, the study synthesizes academic articles, policy documents, and industry reports published in the last five years. The findings demonstrate that IoT and AI improve real-time tracking, demand forecasting, and inventory stability; ERP and cloud-based SCM enhance data integration and visibility; while blockchain significantly increases transparency and supports sustainability through traceability and carbon accounting. Case studies such as Maersk, DHL, and Amazon show that firms integrating these technologies achieve substantial improvements in operational performance, customer trust, and innovative business models. However, successful implementation requires not only technical investments but also organizational readiness, governance frameworks, and stakeholder collaboration. The study concludes that holistic digital transformation in logistics provides a pathway for Indonesian industries to strengthen competitiveness and foster sustainable innovation.
