Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the characteristics and educational leadership skills of the Principal of SD Plus Mutiara Insani Purwakarta. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method using a questionnaire containing statement questionnaires and processed by describing or giving an overview of the object under study through data or samples that have been collected as they are. The target respondents were several teachers at SD Plus Mutiara Insani Purwakarta. The results of this study will show what characteristics and educational leadership skills are used by the principal of SD Plus Mutiara Insani and will be adjusted to the theories that the authors describe in this article

Abstract

The learning environment factor is one of the most important for the success of the student learning process because it is a very important means and infrastructure for improving students' knowledge (cognitive), relative attitudes (affective) and skills (psychomotor). Therefore, learning environments can be divided into two categories: natural environments and non-natural environments. Natural categories include air, temperature, weather, time of day (morning, afternoon, and evening), and time of day. The place where people learn is their social and cultural environment. So, if these factors are not balanced, learning will not produce the best results. This research is a type of quantitative research that uses analytical descriptive methods, which means the researcher will only provide an explanation of certain variables and present the results in the form of a frequency distribution table. By collecting data using primary data. Due to the lack of study space, there is a change in the study room, which results in students coming in during the day when that time should be used for rest. Thus, it can be concluded that the lack of classrooms affects the learning concentration of students at Kubang Kutu 2 Elementary School, Cilegon City

Abstract

Behavioral disorders, which are disorders of adjustment to the social environment caused by weak self-control, are the most common cases in children. 50% or more of children aged 4-5 years have exhibited some external conduct disorder syndrome that can develop into a permanent conduct disorder (Campbell, Coie &; Reid, in Bennett, Brown, Lipman, Racine, Boyle &; Offord, 1999). In Indonesia itself, although there is no definite number, there are quite a lot of children who can be said to have behavioral disorders. The purpose of this study was to conduct research related to the influence of parenting on the aggressive behavior of 4-year-olds who tend to fight and hit. The method used in this study is to use qualitative descriptive methods, and the data collection tools in this study are observation and interviews. Based on the results and discussion in this study, it can be concluded that behavioral disorders in children who often fight and like to hit others, one of which can be influenced by parental parenting as well as the process of imitation from parents because parents are modeling (imitation) for children

Abstract

The purpose of this study is 1) to find out the factors that cause Ayesha Khairatun Hisan difficulties in operating multiplication and division calculations. 2) how to learn how to use so far in operating multiplication and division calculations. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with case study method. The subject of this study was Ayesha Khairatun Hisan, class IV SDIT Insantama Malang. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data collected in the case studies are comprehensive and integrated. This study discusses a case study about the difficulties of learning mathematics in multiplication and division arithmetic operations with teaching process techniques. This research was conducted to solve problems that occur during teaching and learning activities by applying learning models in order to get solutions to these problems. The results of this study are 1) the causes of difficulties in operating multiplication and division calculations, namely being less thorough and focused in working on problems so that mathematics lessons in multiplication and division arithmetic operations are considered difficult. 2) The method used so far is quite difficult to understand, so the Jarimatika method is a solution in operating multiplication and division calculations

Abstract

21st century life skills are very important to teach today's students. However, the reality in the field is that there are still many schools that have not taught 21st century life skills to their students. This is influenced by several factors, one of which is the lack of a forum provided by schools to students to improve life skills. Therefore, schools must take the time to accommodate students to improve life skills by means of extracurricular activities. This study aims to describe the management function of extracurricular activities at SDN 2 Gunem along with the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of these activities. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a case study as a research approach. Data was collected using in-depth interviews, documentation, and participatory observation methods. To maintain the validity of the data, this study used the techniques of extended participation, persistence / constancy of observation and triangulation. The findings in this study indicate the existence of an extracurricular activity program carried out by the school for one academic year, the existence of an organizational structure for each type of extracurricular activity, including the planning, mobilization or implementation process to the evaluation of extracurricular activities

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of elementary mathematics learning outcomes after the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model for third grade students at SD Negeri 6 Ngabul Jepara. This research leads to the literature study method with interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. The results showed that the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model was very influential in improving student learning outcomes, especially in mathematics in elementary school

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of the Make a Match type Cooperative Learning Model supported by the Rainbow net media in improving mathematics learning outcomes at SDN 6 Suwawal. The research method used was a pseudo-experiment with a pre-test post-test control group design. The research subjects consisted of two randomly selected classes, one class as an experimental group that applied the Make a Match type cooperative learning model assisted by Rainbow net media, and one class as a control group that received conventional learning. Data were collected through tests of mathematics learning outcomes before and after treatment. The results showed that the Make a Match type cooperative learning model assisted by Rainbow net media significantly improved mathematics learning outcomes compared to conventional learning. These findings suggest that the use of cooperative learning models supported by interactive media can be an effective alternative in improving students' mathematical understanding and achievement at the elementary level. This research makes an important contribution to the development of learning methods that are more oriented towards student involvement and the use of technology in the learning process

Abstract

This study aims 1) to find out learning strategies in facing the national elementary school exams 2) to find out the preparations that elementary school students need to prepare for the national exams. The research method used in this research is descriptive research method with quantitative approach. The sample used in the study were students with a random sampling technique. The data in this study are in the form of a test that aims to determine student learning strategies in an effort to face the national exam. The data analysis method used descriptive analysis and independent sample t-test. The results of this study show that in learning there must be a strategy as an outline of the direction in action to achieve the goals that have been determined. The strategy can also be understood as all the means and power to deal with certain targets under certain conditions in order to obtain the maximum expected results. There are several strategies that are usually used in conducting the national exam learning method as for the strategies as follows: 1) Quantum teaching Learning Strategies 2) Quantum Learning Learning Strategies 3) Inquiry Learning Strategies 4) Problem Based Instruction learning strategies 5) Contextual Teaching and Learning strategies Learning and preparation for the national exam are matters relating to the preparations made by students to face the national exam including 1) Mental preparation, 2) body health, 3) Self-confidence, 4) Self preparation, 5) Preparation technical, 6) Preparation of exam materials

Abstract

The application of the probing prompting learning model to students' critical thinking skills in science subjects. A quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SD Negeri Sumur Peuteuy. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. In this study, class IV A was used as the experimental class and class IV B as the control class. This study aims to determine whether there are differences in students' critical thinking skills using the probing prompting learning model and students using the direct learning model. The purpose of the data analysis technique is to test the hypothesis using two tests and the right-hand side test. Based on the two-party hypothesis, tcount = 4,599 and ttable 2,010 so 4,599 > 2,010, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From this research, it can be said that the learning model applied in the experimental class (probing prompting learning model) and in the control class (direct learning model) shows the students' critical thinking skills. And the experimental class is better than the control class. This research aims to improve the ability to solve mathematics story problems in class II students at Kedungmalang Elementary School through a problem based learning (PBL) learning model assisted by concrete media. Learning using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by concrete media can improve students' ability to solve math story problems. This research method uses a type of classroom action research. The subjects of this research were all class II students at SD N Kedungmalang. Data collection techniques use tests, non-tests, observation and documentation. The results of this research can be proven by the average score obtained by students in the first cycle fraction material which was 73.63 with a percentage of 65% with the criteria not having reached the specified criteria. Cycle II got an average score of 81.59 with a percentage of 85% with the criteria having reached the specified criteria

Abstract

Literacy is a means that is needed by every individual, this is because literacy is needed to keep up with the times. However, as is known, the literacy rate in Indonesia tends to be low. Digest-friendly books are suggestions that can be used and are believed to be a solution in improving literacy in early childhood, especially at the elementary school level. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive overview in the process of developing a digestible book that contains the value of the Pancasila Student Profile and contains the critical reasoning value of the B2 early reader category in elementary school. The research uses a Research and Development (R&D) research design through the ADDIE development model, including five steps, namely Analysis Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The target of this research is grade 1 elementary school with a total of 25 people at SDN Margahayu V, Bekasi City. This research was carried out by filling out questionnaires and implementing digestible books using workshop sheets as assessments and the use of digestible books to make it easier for teachers to teach and develop children's ability to reason critically. However, the results of this study are considered successful in developing a digestible book that makes it easier for teachers in the process of teaching early literacy and is categorized as very good with a percentage of 88%.
