Abstract

Menstrual cycle disorders remain a reproductive health problem in adolescent girls, and prolonged academic stress can disrupt hormonal regulation through dysfunction of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal and hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axes, thus triggering menstrual cycle irregularities. This study aims to analyze the relationship between academic stress and menstrual cycle disorders in female students at Nurcahaya High School, Medan. The study used a quantitative, correlational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach, conducted in July 2026 on 40 female students selected through purposive sampling. Academic stress was measured using the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA) and menstrual cycle disorders using a validated menstrual cycle questionnaire. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square test at a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed that 45.0% of respondents experienced moderate academic stress and 30.0% experienced severe academic stress, while 60.0% experienced menstrual cycle disorders. A chi-square test showed a significant association between academic stress and menstrual cycle disorders (p = 0.014). This finding confirms that academic stress is an important psychobiological determinant of menstrual irregularities in adolescents and emphasizes the need for school-based reproductive health nursing interventions.

Abstract

Patients with acute gastroenteritis (GAE) accompanied by hypokalemia require continuous nursing monitoring due to the risk of fluid and electrolyte imbalances that can worsen their clinical condition. Although the use of checklists in nursing rounds has been widely reported, the application of the Primary Care Round Checklist (PCR) as a guide for systematic reassessment in GEA patients with hypokalemia is still rarely reported. This case report aims to describe the implementation of PCR in two adult patients with GEA and hypokalemia who were treated in Ward 7 of X Hospital, South Tangerang in 2026. PCR was implemented by the Nurse in Charge of Care (PPJA) using a structured checklist in each nursing round that covered general condition, gastrointestinal symptoms, hydration status, intake-output balance, electrolyte levels, therapy, patient safety, and continuity of care. The results showed that PCR facilitated systematic documentation and evaluation of patient condition developments, including changes in diarrhea frequency, hydration status, fluid balance, electrolyte levels, response to therapy, and potential safety risks. The use of the checklist also supported communication between nurses in continuity of care. Both patients showed improvement in clinical condition during treatment according to the therapy provided. These findings suggest that PCR has the potential to be a supporting instrument for systematic nursing review and documentation, although research with a larger sample size is still needed.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the effectiveness of leg muscle explosive power training and arm muscle strength training in improving free throw shooting ability in basketball extracurricular participants at State Senior High School 1 Negara. The study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a pretest-posttest two-group design. The study population consisted of 36 basketball extracurricular participants. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique and divided into two groups of 18 participants each through a matching technique (ordinal pairing). The first group received leg muscle explosive power training, while the second group received arm muscle strength training. Data were collected using a free throw shooting test before (pretest) and after (posttest) treatment, then analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's homogeneity test, paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, and the Mann-Whitney U test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that both types of training improved free throw shooting ability. However, there were differences in effectiveness between the two, so the type of training given affected the extent of the increase in participants' abilities. These findings indicate that selecting an appropriate training method is an important factor in optimizing free throw shooting abilities in extracurricular basketball participants.

Abstract

Small-scale fishing businesses face challenges in maintaining financial viability due to fluctuations in catches, changes in operational costs, and uncertainty in fishermen's income. These conditions require a business feasibility analysis to support decision-making and the sustainability of capture fisheries businesses. This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility and sensitivity level of fishing businesses using drift gillnets and boat lift nets in Bengkulu City. The study used a quantitative approach with a case study method in two locations, namely Baai Island and the Kota Tuo area, Bengkulu. Primary data was obtained through a survey of fishing vessel owners and analyzed using indicators such as Benefit-Cost Ratio (B/C Ratio), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), and sensitivity analysis. The results of the study indicate that both types of businesses are feasible based on all financial feasibility indicators. The sensitivity analysis shows that the drift gillnet business becomes unfeasible if revenue decreases by 80%, while the boat lift net business becomes unfeasible if operational costs increase by 22%. Comparatively, the drift gillnet business has a better level of financial viability than the boat lift net business. This finding indicates that while both businesses are feasible to develop, the drift gillnet business has greater financial resilience to changing economic conditions, making it a potentially more sustainable alternative for fishermen in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Community-based tourism village development is an important strategy for improving the welfare of local communities while preserving cultural and environmental sustainability. This study aims to analyze the development strategies of the Randuagung Tourism Village based on community participation, the forms and levels of community involvement, as well as the obstacles and challenges faced in its development. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants include village government officials, tourism village managers, tourism business actors, the Village Community Empowerment Institution (LPMD), and local community members. The results show that the development strategy of Randuagung Tourism Village focuses on utilizing local potential, including Kebun Winih Tourism, Kebun Oppa, and Sumber Suko, through a management approach that actively involves the community. Community participation is reflected in involvement in tourism activities, business management, and social and cultural activities, although the level of participation remains uneven. The main challenges in developing the tourism village include limited human resources, differences in interests among stakeholders, and the underdeveloped institutional capacity of the tourism village. This study concludes that community-based tourism development in Randuagung Village requires institutional strengthening, capacity building for local communities, and strong commitment among stakeholders to ensure sustainable development

Abstract

Advances in digital technology have shifted the function of social media into a new public space where collective opinion formation occurs rapidly and massively. One emerging phenomenon is cancel culture, a form of social judgment based on digital interactions. This study aims to analyze TikTok users' responses to the DJ Panda influencer case and understand how these interactions reflect social media's dual role as a space for public criticism and judgment. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through virtual observation of content, comments, stitch features, and reposts on related videos, as well as in-depth interviews with TikTok users who actively interacted with the case. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, coding, categorization, and meaning extraction. The analytical framework is based on George Herbert Mead's Symbolic Interactionism Theory and Howard S. Becker's Labeling Theory. The results show that netizen responses are dominated by emotional and rapid judgments without factual verification, which are reinforced by symbolic interactions between users. This phenomenon forms a mob mentality and social labeling practices that lead to stigmatization and cyberbullying. These findings emphasize the paradox of the digital public space as a means of social control and a potentially toxic space

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity and capital structure on profitability in food and beverage subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The study uses a quantitative approach with an associative approach. The sample consisted of five companies selected using purposive sampling during the 2021–2025 period, resulting in 25 observational data. Liquidity was measured using the Current Ratio (CR), capital structure using the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and profitability using Return on Assets (ROA). Data analysis was conducted through classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and partial and simultaneous hypothesis tests. The results show that CR has no significant effect on ROA, while DER has a significant effect on ROA. Simultaneously, CR and DER have a significant effect on ROA. These findings indicate that capital structure plays a more dominant role than liquidity in influencing the profitability of food and beverage subsector companies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Gross Profit Margin (GPM), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and company size on profit growth in pharmaceutical subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2024 period. The study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The research data are secondary data obtained from the company's annual financial reports, with a sample of four companies selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression supported by the classical assumption test, coefficient of determination test, t-test, and F-test. The results show that partially GPM, DER, and company size do not significantly influence profit growth. This finding indicates that the level of gross profit margin, capital structure, and the size of company assets are not able to explain changes in profit growth individually in pharmaceutical subsector companies during the study period. The results suggest that profit growth in pharmaceutical companies is likely more influenced by factors other than the variables studied, such as operational efficiency, market conditions, business strategy, and external factors that influence company performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of online customer reviews and affiliate marketing on purchasing decisions at TikTok Shop in Bima City. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 112 respondents who had made purchases through TikTok Shop. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire that measured respondents' perceptions regarding online customer reviews, affiliate marketing, and purchasing decisions. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed that online customer reviews and affiliate marketing had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously. These findings indicate that informative and credible customer reviews and effective affiliate marketing strategies can increase consumer confidence in making purchasing decisions at TikTok Shop. In addition, both variables make a significant contribution in explaining variations in consumer purchasing decisions. The results of the study emphasize the importance of managing customer reviews and optimizing affiliate marketing programs as digital marketing strategies to improve purchasing decisions on e-commerce platforms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work motivation and organizational commitment on employee job satisfaction at the Asakota District Office, Bima City. The study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consisted of 41 employees, all of whom were selected as research samples using the total sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and literature studies, while data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The results revealed that work motivation had no significant effect on employee job satisfaction, with a t-value of 0.493 and a significance level of 0.625. In contrast, organizational commitment had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, with a t-value of 3.758 and a significance level of 0.001. Simultaneously, work motivation and organizational commitment significantly influenced employee job satisfaction, as indicated by an F-value of 17.833 and a significance level of 0.000. The coefficient of determination of 48.4% indicates that employee job satisfaction can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining 51.6% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. These findings suggest that strengthening organizational commitment plays an important role in enhancing employee job satisfaction
