Abstract

Background. One of the key factors that determine the success of learning is the teacher's ability to identify students' learning styles. Each individual has a unique learning style—such as visual, auditory, or kinesthetic—which influences how they absorb, process, and understand information. However, many teachers, especially at the elementary school level, still face challenges in recognizing and adapting their teaching methods to meet students' learning needs.Aims. The training program for enhancing teachers' competence in identifying students' learning styles aims to improve teachers' understanding and ability to implement teaching strategies that align with the individual needs of students. The training materials covered an introduction to four types of learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and verbal) and effective methods for identifying these styles, including diagnostic assessments and direct observation. Result. The evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills, supported by questionnaire data and direct observations. This training provided new insights and practical strategies for teachers to create more effective and adaptive learning experiences tailored to students' needs.Conclusion. This training provided new insights and practical strategies for teachers to create more effective and adaptive learning experiences tailored to students' needs.Implementation.This training was conducted at SDN Pelandakan 1, targeting teachers from SDN Pelandakan 1 and SDN Pelandakan 2, involving 45 to 50 participants. The training methods included interactive lectures, practical simulations, and reflection-based evaluations.

Referring to official data uploaded by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), there will be 399,921 divorce cases in all regions of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) in 2024. Methods. A normative juridical approach is used in this study which refers to applicable laws and regulations, expert opinions, and empirical data. Result. Abstract

Abstract Background. The community service program carried out by the participants of KKN-T (Thematic Real Work Lecture) of Gunung Jati Swadaya University is a contribution of students to apply the knowledge that has been obtained during the first lecture. This activity is a manifestation of the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education, namely organizing education, conducting research, and community service. Aims. The research aims to develop the potential of villages for economic growth through environmentally friendly programs, namely, aquaponics or fish and plant cultivation in buckets. Aquaponics is a system of waste utilization as aquaculture media with hydroponics to cultivate aquatic livestock such as fish that uses the rest of the livestock's metabolism as a support for plant fertility. The high number of people in rural areas is one of the factors that can support food security programs through fish farming products in buckets, as the effectiveness of minimal land in every house. Methods. This study used research development to examine the cultivation programs process in a descriptive, evaluative, and experimental manner to optimize harvest and sales through digital systems. Result. The research will result in the success of village service activities by providing a simulation of a new business, fish cultivation in buckets, to support the economic sector of villagers. Conclusion. Cikancas Village was chosen because it has potential in the fields of agriculture and livestock, but still faces the challenge of low public awareness of entrepreneurship and digital marketing of local products. Through the One Village One Product (OVOP) concept, KKN-T students initiated the Fish Cultivation in Bucket (Budikdamber) program as an innovative solution to improve the village economy. Implication. This activity has a positive impact, both in terms of household food security and in increasing residents' income. The community is able to practice Budikdamber independently and get double benefits from the fish and vegetable harvest.

Abstract

Abstract: Organic waste, perticularly from household remains, can be easily decomposed naturally without human intervention. When processed correctly and properly, organic waste from households offers many benefits, such as being converted into animal or livestock feed, organic fertilizer, compost, biogas, and eco enzyme. The nature of eco enzyme is an antimicrobial that inhibits pathogens, makes it useful as a cleaning agent. Community Service Activities involving approximately 15 RT (Neighborhood Associations) in Bukit Pariaman Village, Tenggarong Seberang District (especially to local houswives), provided training on making Eco Enzyme and the application of eco enzyme in daily life needs. In practice, eco enzyme is used as a multi-purpose cleaning fluid, including for detergent, air purifier, floor cleaner, toilet cleaner, kitchen cleaner, odor remover, dishwashing liquid, fruit and vegetable cleaner, hair and skin care, pesticides, insecticides. Eco enzyme is considered environmentally friendly because it is processed entirely from organic materials. The community service activities were successfully conducted and received enthusiasm from training participants who actively asked questions, engaged in discussions, and practiced making eco enzyme, and after a three-month fermentation period, they successfully produced eco enzyme products. Abstract

Abstract: Background: The problem of organic waste, especially that derived from vegetables, is a relatively important environmental issue. The accumulation of waste without proper treatment can cause pollution, unpleasant odors, and become a breeding ground for pests and diseases. Aim: a waste management strategy that is environmentally friendly and can also provide economic benefits for the village community. One innovative solution that can be implemented is to process vegetable waste into animal feed in the form of silage. Methods: The initial stage of vegetable waste inventory in Nawangsasi village, followed by silage formulation and testing its use for animal feed. Results: Silage formula was obtained by utilizing organic waste., Conclusions: The use of vegetable waste in Nawangsasi Village as animal feed in the form of silage demonstrates excellent potential to address the issue of organic waste while enhancing local feed resilience. Nawangsasi Village generates a considerable amount of vegetable waste from agricultural and market activities, which was previously often disposed of without proper control, resulting in environmental pollution. Involvement. The silage formula can be applied to farmers.
