Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy, self-control and peers on consumptive behavior in Generation Z in Tegal Regency. A quantitative approach was used in this study with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents using the purposive sampling technique. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 22 software. The results showed that financial literacy had no effect on consumptive behavior, with a t-value of 1.478 and a significance of 0.143 (p > 0.05). Self-control has a significant negative effect on consumptive behavior, with a t-value of -2.442 and a significance of 0.016 (p <0.05), which means that the higher the level of self-control, the lower the consumptive behavior. Peers have a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior with a t-value of 9.705 and a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05), which means that the higher the interaction with peers, the higher the consumptive behavior. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.528, indicating that financial literacy, self-control, and peers have an effect of 52.8% on consumptive behavior, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the research model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of self-directed learning and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in learning on the learning motivation of Economics Education students at Siliwangi University. A quantitative approach was used in this study with a survey method through distributing questionnaires to 221 students selected using the Proportional Stratified Sampling technique. The results showed that self-directed learning has a positive and significant effect on student learning motivation, with a tcount value of 8.411 and a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The use of AI in learning also has a significant positive effect, with a tcount value of 2.327 and a significance of 0.021 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.382 indicates that these two independent variables explain 38.2% of the variation in learning motivation, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the research model. This finding confirms that the combination of self-directed learning and AI utilization can be an effective strategy in increasing students' learning motivation and supporting more innovative and independent learning.

Abstract

This study aims to explore preventive strategies to improve Student Council members' learning outcomes by enhancing priority discretion to reduce academic procrastination. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method involving Student Council members at SMA Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya for the 2023/2024 period as the primary subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, which were then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings reveal that the primary factors influencing academic procrastination among Student Council members include difficulties in adjusting to tight schedules, poor time management, and a tendency to prioritize more enjoyable activities. The strategies employed by Student Council members to enhance priority discretion include identifying important and urgent tasks, maintaining a daily schedule, and making effective decisions when faced with conflicts between academic and organizational responsibilities. This study concludes that effective priority discretion management plays a crucial role in reducing academic procrastination and improving Student Council members' learning outcomes. The researcher recommends that educational institutions provide time management training for students actively involved in organizations to help them balance academic and organizational responsibilities.may increase the ease with which interested parties can locate our article.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of cooperative learning models in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) at MTs Simpang, West Pasaman Regency. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that teachers applied several cooperative learning models such as Jigsaw, Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), and Team Game Tournament (TGT). These models are chosen to increase students' activeness, encourage cooperation, and instill Islamic character values through group interaction. Cooperative learning is proven to be able to create a pleasant learning atmosphere, increase students' learning motivation, and help students understand the material more deeply. Obstacles in implementation such as differences in participation levels between students can be overcome through the division of heterogeneous groups and appropriate classroom management strategies. Thus, the application of cooperative learning is an effective strategy in improving the quality of SKI learning at MTs Simpang.

Abstract

This study examines strategies to improve literacy and interest in learning among secondary school students in Indonesia. The research used a mixed methods approach with 150 students and 25 teachers from three secondary schools in West Java as participants. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires and document analysis. The findings showed that students' initial literacy level was moderate (65.4%), with significant variations across different types of literacy. Interest in learning is mainly influenced by teaching methods (42.3%), learning environment (28.7%) and technology integration (16.5%). The research identified effective strategies at the policy, classroom and community levels, including the implementation of a daily 15-minute reading program, the integration of technology-based literacy activities and the establishment of literacy partnerships between parents and schools. These strategies showed significant improvements in students' reading habits (increased by 27.8%) and overall academic performance (increased by 18.6%). The study concludes that a comprehensive approach involving school policies, innovative teaching strategies, parental involvement and technology integration is essential for improving literacy and interest in learning among secondary school students.

Abstract

Village-Owned Enterprises, often abbreviated as BUMDes, are a manifestation of a business owned and operated by a village. It was established to encourage the village economy. The main problem that is often encountered is that BUMDes are difficult to develop and do not have a real impact on the local village community. The purpose of this study is to provide detailed insights into the significant factors in supporting the success of BUMDes. This research was carried out with a literature study model whose data was taken from scientific articles contained in the google schoolar database starting from 2023-2024. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman technique. From the results of the study, it is concluded that BUMDes will be successful if they adopt strategies such as human resource training, technology utilization, and product innovation. Diversification and partnerships can improve performance. Effective marketing management and accurate finances are vital. Full support from the village government is urgently needed.

Abstract

Many countries concentrate on the business of procuring halal products. The halalness of a product is indicated by the presence of a halal logo on the packaging. The halal logo can be used to indicate that a product meets the requirements set by sharia law so that it is suitable for consumption by Muslims, therefore implementing the halal value chain in the culinary business is very important. So, when a business wants to be superior to its competitors, a competitive strategy within the company is very necessary in achieving the goals of an organization or company in business competition, namely Competitive Advantage. Here it is interpreted that strategy is more about how to make plans, tactics, winning positions, patterns and perspectives that are created to be implemented over a long period of time, so that the end is how to win the market. The research method used in this research is a literature review of various studies that have been carried out by previous researchers. The data collection method used is secondary data obtained from journals, documentation books, scientific articles and other documents relevant to this research

Abstract

The problem in the research is that students cannot control their desire to buy products in live streaming commerce and take action spontaneously, resulting in impulsive buying behavior. This research also aims to determine the influence of affective and cognitive reactions in live streaming commerce on impulsive buying behavior. This research uses a quantitative survey type method with an explanatory research design. The population in this study were economic education students from the Class of 2022 and 2023 using a proportionate stratified random sampling technique, totaling 164 students. The collection technique uses a questionnaire and the data analysis technique uses SPSS version 25.0 for Windows. The research results show that: 1) There is a partially significant positive influence (significance value of 0.000 or calculated t value of 6.414) on the affective reaction variable which is related to impulsive buying behavior; 2) There is a partially significant positive influence (significance value of 0.000 or calculated t value of 4.657) on the cognitive reaction variable related to impulsive buying behavior; and 3) There is a joint significant influence (significance value of 0.000 or calculated f value of 57.344) between affective and cognitive reactions to the variable measuring impulsive buying behavior. The findings of this study also show that 41.6% of the reasons behind impulse buying behavior can be predicted by combining affective and cognitive reactions.

Abstract

Intense competition between universities requires educational institutions to emphasize educational and institutional quality in order to maintain existence and achieve excellence. The quality of educational services at higher education institutions is a key factor that influences the level of student satisfaction. As the main customer, student satisfaction with educational services reflects the institution's success in providing a quality learning experience. This research aims to evaluate student satisfaction with various aspects of educational services at the West Aceh State Community Academy. The method applied is descriptive quantitative with a survey involving all registered students. The research instrument is a questionnaire that covers aspects of teaching quality, academic facilities, administrative services and learning environment. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to describe the level of student satisfaction. The research results show that the majority of students are satisfied with the quality of the services provided, although there are several aspects that require improvement. The highest level of satisfaction was found in the tangibles and responsiveness aspects, while the reliability and empathy aspects also showed significant levels of satisfaction. Recommendations from this research include improving the quality of physical facilities, training for lecturers and administrative staff, as well as improving services based on student feedback. Improving the quality of educational services is expected to help institutions achieve their vision and mission in creating graduates who have competitive abilities, are able to compete, and are ready to face challenges in the world of work.

Abstract

This research analyzes the socio-economic impact of online gambling using sharia economic principles. This study was conducted through an in-depth literature review. Various relevant sources and publications were examined. This includes journals, books, and articles from experts in Islamic economics. The results of this study reveal that online gambling is in contradiction with the basic values of sharia economics which emphasize justice and mutual prosperity. Its presence triggers economic imbalance and causes widespread social losses. In accordance with sharia economics, economic transactions should have added value and real benefits for the entire community. Based on literature analysis, this research offers insight into the need for sharia-oriented responses and policies. The aim is to overcome the challenges brought by online gambling. Emphasis is placed on understanding and implementing the values of sharia justice. This is not only important for strengthening the economic structure but also for increasing social harmony. This study proves the urgency of action based on sharia economic principles. This is to answer and overcome the negative effects of online gambling.
