Abstract

This study examines the influence of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance on firm value, comparing emerging and developed markets, focusing on Indonesia. While ESG’s global impact on firm value is well-documented, research on its effects in Indonesia and similar markets is limited. Developed economies benefit from robust regulatory frameworks and investor demand for ESG integration. In contrast, Indonesia shows an inconsistent ESG-firm value relationship influenced by regulatory progress, investor awareness, and socioeconomic factors. The study aims to: (1) evaluate ESG’s impact on firm value in Indonesia, (2) identify contextual factors mediating this relationship, and (3) determine which ESG dimensions—Environmental, Social, or Governance—most significantly affect valuation. A Structured Literature Review (SLR) of studies from 2020 to 2024 provides insights into ESG impacts in emerging and developed markets, emphasizing Indonesia. Findings reveal that ESG performance generally enhances firm value in Indonesia, with Governance having the most decisive influence. Governance promotes investor confidence and stability, which is highly valued in Indonesia’s market. Social factors, such as community engagement, also contribute to firm value, aligning with Indonesia's emphasis on corporate social responsibility. Environmental factors, however, show limited impact due to low domestic investor prioritization and weak regulatory enforcement. ESG adoption in Indonesia is driven mainly by foreign investors and multinational corporations adhering to global standards. To enhance ESG’s role in firm value, Indonesian regulators should mandate ESG disclosures and incentivize green finance. Firms must focus on governance and social initiatives to build investor confidence.

Abstract

Changes in the current digital era occur very quickly and lead to conditions that continue to change dynamically, so overcoming the increasing uncertainty in the organization becomes important and urgent, and the organization's ability to develop resilience is also essential. MSMEs face various challenges in the digital era, such as changes in consumer behavior, global competition, and economic uncertainty. The resilience of MSMEs is the primary determinant in overcoming these uncertainties. Understanding how digitalization and HR can complement each other creates excellence and product innovation. This study aims to determine how digitalization, human resources practices, and product innovation affect resilience (Study on Culinary MSMEs in Garut Regency). The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Primary data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents using probability and random sampling. The data analysis technique used in this study used PLS-SEM. The analysis results show that digitalization does not directly affect resilience; it directly affects resilience by being mediated by product innovation variables.

Abstract

Innovation is carried out systematically to develop and market breakthrough products, systems, or services that can solve customer problems. Companies that do not innovate or are not at a high-quality level become stagnant and can even go bankrupt. PT Arita Prima Indonesia Tbk was established on October 5, 2000, in Jakarta, Indonesia, and engaged in import, distribution, and service for valve, fitting, instrumentation, and control products. The expedition division is responsible for shipping goods to customers. In previous studies, implementing the nearest insert and nearest neighbor methods in shipping route planning can help minimize travel distances and increase the efficiency of the distribution process of imported products. The saving matrix method focuses on adding nearby consumers to complete existing routes. The system dynamics approach shows the unity of interaction between elements of an object within a specific scope that work together to achieve goals. This provides structure to the object, can differentiate it from other objects, and affects the state of the object. The highest total expenditure from month 1 to month 120 was on the carry box car amounting to 2681.32 million rupiah or Rp2,681,320,000. Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Price Perception, Service Quality, and Store Atmosphere on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty at Starbucks Reserve Plaza Senayan Jakarta. This study applied a quantitative research design, and the data were collected through structured questionnaires to 290 respondents. This study employed Structural Equation Modeling- Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to test hypotheses empirically. Empirical findings confirm that Service Quality and Price Perception positively and significantly affect Customer Satisfaction, a key driver of Customer Loyalty. Store Atmosphere directly improves customer satisfaction, though with an uncertain statistical correlation with Customer Loyalty. These results emphasize pricing and service differentiation as the most critical factors in keeping a customer, particularly for the rival coffee shop market. This study contributes to the literature by offering implications of consumer behavior in the luxury coffee shop market and supplying managerial recommendations for Starbucks and other luxury coffee brands. The results suggest that firms should focus on value-based pricing and services to promote customer loyalty. The study also indicates the need to conduct further research on the indirect effect of store atmosphere on customer engagement in the long term.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of green products and corporate social responsibility on purchasing decisions, using intention as a mediating variable of The Body Shop beauty brand in Bandung. This is due to the significant continuous decline in sales results for The Body Shop brand. The sales revenue of the British cosmetics, skincare, and perfume company The Body Shop has tended to decline from 2016 to 2022. The Body Shop has provided environmentally friendly products and always improves the company's quality and value through environmental issues caused by shifts in consumer demand. However, this did not increase revenue from sales made by The Body Shop. The instrument used in this study was carried out after the instrument was declared to have passed. The data is based on the questionnaires distributed and then analyzed using descriptive tests, classical assumption tests, multiple regression tests, Sobel tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of this study state that green products and corporate social responsibility significantly influence purchasing decisions through purchasing interest. It is important to utilize the knowledge that purchasing decisions can be influenced by several variables that influence them. Green products and corporate social responsibility can influence low purchasing decisions. With these variables, it can encourage consumer interest in purchasing products. Therefore, decision-makers at The Body Shop can increase purchasing interest by improving and enhancing the green products they have and the corporate social responsibility programs they carry out.
