Abstract

Education is a means of creating better attitudes and behavior. Learning problems include student motivation when studying. The aim of this research is to determine students' learning motivation using the Context Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transferring (REACT) Learning Application model. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with the type of research being classroom action research, namely research conducted by the teacher himself who also acts as a researcher in the classroom or at the school where he teaches with an emphasis on perfecting or improving the learning process and practice. . Classroom action research (PTK) is action research carried out with the aim of improving the quality of learning practices in the classroom. The location of this research is at SMK Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya, Jalan Mancogeh No. 26 Tasikmalaya. Based on the results of the research above, it can be seen that: The results of the learning assessment were carried out using motivational observation sheets during the learning activities and by holding a post test at the end of each cycle to determine the extent to which the learning strategies implemented were carried out in accordance with what had been planned and expected. From the three cycles implemented, we can see the development of students' learning motivation which can be seen from the students' activeness and enthusiasm during the learning process. The percentage increase in student scores in cycle I was 9.6%, cycle II 28.3%, cycle III 50.6%. This happens because the motivation has emerged within the students to always be enthusiastic about learning

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether the application of the role playing learning model in handling office letters/documents using control cards can improve student learning outcomes, especially class X MPLB 1 at SMK Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya City. This classroom action research was carried out for approximately 3 months, starting from August 18 2022 to October 6 2022 involving 33 students as research subjects. The data collection techniques used by researchers were observation, tests and documentation carried out over 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 5 stages, namely: 1) Action planning, 2) Action implementation, 3) Action observation, and 4) Reflection. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the use of the role playing method in learning activities for handling incoming and outgoing mail has a very positive influence on student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the results of observations which show data that 78.2% of the tasks of handling incoming mail can be performed well by students, and 82.5% of all tasks of handling outgoing mail can be performed well by students. Then in the next cycle, almost all tasks in the procedures for handling incoming and outgoing mail using the control card system were successfully carried out by students very well, with a percentage of 92.9% for incoming mail and 94.7% for handling outgoing mail using the card system. control. Meanwhile, for student learning outcomes in the field of knowledge, the role playing method really helps students. Before implementing the role playing method, only around 6.1% of students got the minimum completeness score in handling incoming and outgoing mail using control cards or only 2 students out of 33 students in class X Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) 1. After applying the role playing method in cycle I, students who achieved the minimum completeness score began to increase, namely around 47.2% and after applying the role playing method in cycle II, almost all students were finally able to achieve the minimum completeness score, namely 88%.

Abstract

In teaching and learning activities, the methods often used by authors include the classical system lecture method by explaining through the medium of an LED projector. It is felt that this method no longer attracts the interest of students in class XI Logistics Management, SMK Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya. Therefore, the author carries out the learning process using the cooperative learning together learning method or model as the author has researched in the previous academic year. The results obtained do show positive results, but the author is not yet satisfied, so the author wants to try other learning methods or models, with the assumption and hope that they can be more effective in increasing students' activities and achievements in learning Logistics Management. The method used in this research is the classroom action method, while the research techniques used in the research are (1) observation techniques, (2) test techniques, and (3) interview techniques. In this research, the data source is students of class XI Logistics Management at SMK Negeri 1 Tasikmalaya for the 2022-2023 academic year. Meanwhile, the hypothesis used is that applying the Peer Tutor Method can improve activities and learning outcomes in the Logistics Management subject, Warehouse Management elements. Learning Outcomes (CP) implementing the goods receipt process for Class peer tutoring method, then students' achievement in the Logistics Management lesson for the Warehouse Management element of Learning Achievement (CP) implementing the goods receipt process can increase. This hypothesis is proven to be true and can be justified by data on the average score before improvement (Pre-Cycle), the average class score only reached 77.22. After improvements were made in two cycles through the peer tutoring method, the first cycle class average value increased to 81.81 and the second cycle increased significantly to an average of 86.63 points. Based on the results obtained from each cycle, it is proven that the application of the peer tutoring method can improve the learning achievement of class

Abstract

The implementation of learning in elementary schools must be able to use real learning media so that it can improve the learning process carried out by teachers. Through problem-based learning, teachers provide the potential for students to be active and understand material in the real world. The research approach used in this research is a quantitative and qualitative approach because it aims to describe the implementation of a problem-based learning model to increase motivation and learning outcomes in junior high school mathematics. The type of research carried out is classroom action research (PTK). The research was carried out at SDN Pasiripis 1, Majalengka Regency. This research was carried out over 2 cycles and was carried out during July 2023. The results of data analysis show that the use of the problem-based learning model properly implemented at SDN Pasiripis I was able to improve student learning outcomes and student learning motivation. This can be seen in the improvement of student activities in the learning process at each cycle

Abstract

A shift away from the belis-based traditional marriage system in Orong Village, Welak District, prompted this study. The changing meaning of belis impacts not only the character development of the community but also the economic burden on the community as a whole.  In order to get a sociological understanding of the belis issue and the community's attempts to avoid it, this study will detail the Manggarai community belis's implementation in Orong Village, Welak District, West Manggarai Regency. To address an existing issue, this study will use a qualitative approach that describes data directly connected to society, institutions, and organizations. Through the use of in-depth interview methods and participatory observation, the existing data will be studied. The outcomes of the issue formulation above lead us to the conclusion that the Manggarai community's belis can be implemented by actively participating in the preservation of belis culture. In the meantime, we know the issue is belis because of the outcomes of the second formulation. The study's findings highlight the importance of education and social position in establishing belis worth. Belis' grades tend to rise in correlation with her level of education and social standing. The male family has not paid off the belief that the female family determined, so the marriage does not take place in the church. What's more, if the male family grows, it can be assumed that the woman has bought it so that she can treat him as she wants, which can lead to domestic violence (KDRT). Therefore, it is believed that future studies will be able to clarify the effect of high costs on household life

Abstract

The PAUD to Elementary School Transition Movement is a movement released by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Culture.  This transition movement is expected to be not just a breath of fresh air as a mere policy. But it can be realized according to the government's goal of creating a pleasant transition for PAUD children to enter the elementary level.  Of course, this needs various parties to work together to make it happen, starting from the exit, teachers, schools and policy makers. The period of early childhood education to the level of elementary education can be called the transition period from early childhood education to elementary school. The transition from PAUD to elementary school is a critical stage for children. During the transition period, children are usually not ready to receive the learning process in elementary school. If the transition stage fails, the next learning process will also fail. The transition from PAUD to elementary school must certainly have readiness for children, parental readiness and school readiness. Parents are in the scope of the family and the family is the closest educational scope of a child, parents are a crucial role in the readiness of children to go to school. Parents' perception of how their children are ready is certainly different. This is a preliminary study by the researcher with the aim of having a basis for further research on the transition from early childhood education to elementary school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, with interview techniques, from this research there are three themes, namely the perception of children's readiness to enter the elementary level, the perception of parents' preparation to enter the early childhood level and the dilemma of parents in preparing their children to enter the elementary education level

Abstract

This research shows that the application of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model assisted by mathematical engklek media significantly improves students' mathematical communication abilities. After conducting an interview with the fourth grade teacher at SDN Cibeber III Cilegon with the initials "NH" it can be seen that the students' mathematical communication abilities are not yet optimal. he said that "students' mathematical communication abilities vary, some can do it, some can't. When working on questions, students need help with the steps to solve them." This statement is reinforced by the results of students' initial ability tests. After the researchers observed the results of the test, it was found that 26 of the 36 students who took the initial mathematical communication ability test were not able to use mathematical notation or symbols and operations correctly, then the students also did not show what they knew and what was asked of them. question. This research was successful with the average result of the experimental class reaching 76.53 compared to an average of 60.00 in the control class. These findings emphasize the importance of interactive and fun learning strategies to overcome the low mathematical communication skills that students have experienced. The method used in this research is an experiment with a quasi experimental design. The population used is class IV students at SDN Cibeber III Cilegon for the 2023/2024 academic year. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique by determining the number of samples using the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques in this research used tests and documentation

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure are important components or resources in the realm of education because they are related to learning activities. So it is necessary to have management of facilities and infrastructure that are organized to support the success of teaching and learning itself. Management of facilities and infrastructure includes planning, procurement, inventory, maintenance, disposal and rehabilitation of educational facilities and infrastructure. The discussion of rehabilitation is interesting in this study, because rehabilitation is a determining factor in how capable an educational institution is to run it. Therefore, the researcher is interested in conducting research related to rehabilitation at MTsN 2 Sidoarjo and seeing how competent the components in the madrasah are in managing its facilities and infrastructure, this is the purpose of the research conducted by the researcher. The research method in this study uses a qualitative method. The resource person in this study is Mrs. Mia Evyanti, M.Ed., as the Deputy Head of Facilities and Infrastructure. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research in this article show that the components in the madrasah have managed facilities and infrastructure in terms of rehabilitation very well, as evidenced by the analysis of rehabilitation financing and grouping in the implementation of long-term and short-term rehabilitation in the madrasah

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has created a new challenge for teacher training: bridging the digital divide. This qualitative study, conducted at Universitas Sebelas Maret and Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta in Indonesia, explores this gap through the lens of pre-service teachers and faculty. Through semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions, the study uncovers the complexities of this transition, revealing a critical need for enhanced digital literacy, expanded access to resources, and robust institutional support. For instance, many pre-service teachers expressed feelings of being overwhelmed by the sheer volume of new technologies and lacked confidence in their ability to effectively integrate them into their future classrooms. The study also revealed a significant gap between the availability of technology and the capacity of pre-service teachers to use it effectively. While many universities provided access to computers and internet, they often lacked the necessary infrastructure and training to support teachers in developing their digital skills. This research highlights the urgent need for a more responsive approach to teacher training in the digital age, one that empowers educators to effectively embrace technology while nurturing a love for learning in their students. By creating a more robust teacher training ecosystem that addresses the unique challenges of a tech-driven education landscape, we can ensure that all students have access to high-quality, engaging, and equitable learning experiences.

Abstract

Students' interest in learning increases students' enthusiasm and activeness in the learning process. However, in the field, learning to be a student is quite challenging. The aim of this research is to improve video-based interactive multimedia learning to improve student experiences in elementary schools. The research method used is R & D, with the aim of creating video-based interactive multimedia for elementary school students and determining the quality of interactive multimedia based on media, material and technical requirements. Based on the research results, the media has a score of 82.9% in the good category and 89.5% in the very good category. Choosing small groups has an 82% chance of success, while choosing large groups has an 80% chance of success. The teacher evaluation results have a chance of success of 92.6%. The chance of success is 82%, while choosing a large group has an 80% chance of success. Learning research finds that students learn better with tests, with scores found to be 0.61 for satisfaction and 0.69 for interest.  Furthermore, exams improve all aspects of student learning by 0.64, especially in the current category. As a result, creating video-based interactive multimedia can improve students' learning experiences
