Abstract

Learning media can influence the enthusiasm and interest of students in learning. This study aims to conduct a literature review related to the effectiveness of animated videos as a medium of Islamic education for early childhood. The research method chosen in this study is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Data collection is done by documenting all articles related to keywords. The articles used in this study were 34 national journal articles obtained from Google Scholar. Based on this research, it was found that animated video media was effectively used in learning because it was proven to increase students' interest and was easy to understand. In addition, animated videos match the characteristics of early childhood

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan kunci dalam pembangunan suatu negara. Masyarakat yang memiliki tingkat pendidikan yang tinggi lebih mampu membantu pemerintah dalam membangun negara bersama-sama. Pemerintah dapat memberikan fasilitas yang mendukung dalam bidang pendidikan dengan memberikan kesempatan untuk mendapatkan pengalaman. Pendidikan yang berlandaskan dari pengalaman akan lebih tertanam dalam benak masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali makna pendidikan yang lebih dalam terkait pendidikan yang dilihat dari sudut pandang John Dewey. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka atau perpustakaan, di mana sumber yang diperoleh berasal dari buku, artikel, maupun makalah yang masih berhubungan erat pada tema penelitian. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kualitatif yang berbentuk deskriptif. John Dewey merupakan salah satu filosof yang pemikirannya dapat mengubah peradaban dunia, salah satunya dalam bidang pendidikan. Empat konsep fundamental dalam pemikiran filsafat John Dewey yang memberikan warna dalam pemikirannya dalam bidang pendidikan, yaitu pengalaman, pertumbuhan, transaksi, Salah satu kata kunci dalam filsafat John Dewey secara keseluruhan dan bukan hanya dalam filsafat pendidikannya adalah “pengalaman” (experience).

Abstract

The presence of Society 5.0 also affects the world of education, especially regarding quality improvement. Islamic education is faced with very complex challenges, which require hard efforts in creating innovative solutions to improve the quality of education and answer the needs of the times. The purpose of this study is to look at the opportunities and challenges of developing the quality of Islamic education in the 5.0 era. This research is based on a library research approach, which involves collecting data and information from various sources in the literature. The results showed that Islamic education is faced with various challenges in developing quality in the 5.0 era. These challenges include providing educational facilities and improving the quality of human resources. The provision of educational facilities is directly related to limited access to technology and the quality of educational content. Meanwhile, improving the quality of human resources is directly related to the lack of technological skills, skills gaps, and lack of access to infrastructure. The opportunities that Islamic education has in developing the quality of education in the 5.0 era are the management of digital-based education management and the development of 21st century skills.

Abstract

Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools is very interesting to study, because firstly, there are many assumptions about the quality of Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools which state that Islamic boarding schools are old-fashioned Islamic education that is not in harmony with the development of the current modern era, so it is necessary to take strategic and urgent steps in in order to develop Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools, for example by collaborating on traditional Islamic boarding schools with modern Islamic boarding schools, secondly, Islamic boarding schools need to carry out development so that they can meet the expectations of the community, third, in the era of globalization which is marked by advances in science and technology. In writing this article, the author tries to analyze the collaborative implementation of the Salaf Education curriculum at the Miftahussudur Campor and Khalaf Islamic boarding schools at the Misbahul Ulum Campor Islamic Boarding School. From the research that the authors conducted on the implementation of education in the two Islamic boarding schools, in the implementation of Islamic education, there were two things that the authors wrote about in this thesis, namely 1. the implementation was carried out at the Miftahussudur Campor Islamic Boarding School and the Misabahul Ulum Campor Islamic Boarding School with the origin of responding to current developments 2 The results of interviews with Islamic boarding school caretakers who are of concern in the implementation of the collaboration between the two schools. During an interview with the author, he stated that what became the basis and continued survival of Islamic boarding schools in implementing this system were the factors of sincerity and sincerity as well as adequate human resources.This is an open-access article under the license

Abstract

This research was conducted under the considerations that second year students of Senior High School level need media in teaching-learning process. One of them is English comics in learning English. The objectives of the study were to find out whether there is any significant difference in the motivation of student’s mastery in learning English using comics and without using comics and to identify the effectiveness of English comics as a medium of teaching English. The population of this study was the second-year students of Senior High School Number 17 Takengon. The total number of samples in this study were 32 students. The data were collected through pre-test, post-test and questionnaire. In solving the problems, the researcher carried out an experimental study using statistical method called t-test. The writer used two classes: experiment class and control class. In the control class, the writer used written text story. While in the experiment class, the writer uses English comics. The computation result of t-test was 3.04. the t-table was 2.05 for α=5% and df=34. Because tObs was higher than totable (3.04>2.05), it cloud be concluded that there was significant different in the achievement between the students who were taught using comics and students who were taught without using comics. Referring to the experience in conducting this research, the writer offer suggestion to the teacher to motivate the student’s ability in learning English in order to get better result. The use of comic should be maintained frequently and recommended to English teachers, especially to teach Junior high School’s students in order to attract their motivation in learning English to be more fun.

Abstract

Speaking of philosophical concepts of every field of science, including Islamic education focused on one of the philosophies that is positivism. The thinking of positivism has brought great progress in the advancement of science, especially for Islamic education. This can be seen in the development of curriculam and learning strategies that use the basics of positivism philosophy. For example, there is an induction method used in the 2013 curriculum that is very compatible with the method developed by Comte. Therefore, this writing is as an initial, even global, attempt to see how positivist paradigms are applied in the world of education. This research is included in the library research, that is, research that limits research and data search only through library collections without requiring research and field data. In this research, researchers use qualitative research methods. In the library research that uses qualitational methods, they take the necessary data from sources such as books, journals, articles.

Abstract

This study investigates the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in designing personalized Arabic language learning plans tailored to individual needs. In the context of evolving globalization, the demand for strong Arabic language proficiency is increasing, prompting the need for more adaptive and effective learning approaches. In this research, an AI-based learning approach is employed to provide personalized learning experiences, considering individual learning styles, proficiency levels, and preferences. Through surveys, interviews, and field testing, the study analyzes the effectiveness and potential of AI technology in enhancing motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes in Arabic language education. The findings indicate that AI-driven personalized learning approaches can enhance satisfaction and learning achievements among participants, while promoting inclusivity and accessibility in Arabic language education. The implications of this research for education and the development of more adaptive and personalized curricula are also discussed.

Abstract

This research explores the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in elementary education, focusing on its impact on student motivation, academic achievement, and overall learning experiences. Through a comprehensive examination of existing literature, empirical evidence, and qualitative interviews with educators and administrators, this study sheds light on the benefits and challenges of AI integration in educational settings. The findings highlight a positive correlation between AI-based learning methods and student motivation levels, suggesting that technology can engage students in meaningful ways by fostering curiosity, autonomy, and intrinsic motivation in their learning journey. Moreover, significant improvements in students' academic achievement following exposure to AI-enhanced instruction underscore the efficacy of these innovative approaches in facilitating deeper conceptual understanding and mastery of academic content. However, addressing challenges such as equity, inclusion, and ethical considerations requires a multifaceted approach involving ongoing professional development, investments in infrastructure, and the establishment of ethical safeguards. Further research is needed to explore the nuanced dynamics of AI integration in education, including its impact on teacher-student interactions, classroom dynamics, and the broader socio-cultural context. Overall, interdisciplinary collaborations and a commitment to ethical innovation are essential for harnessing the transformative power of AI to create more equitable, inclusive, and effective learning environments for all student.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Develop a research-based project learning model in entrepreneurship subjects that can foster the entrepreneurial spirit of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Pagaralam. 2) To determine the effectiveness of the Research Based project learning model in entrepreneurship subjects which can foster the entrepreneurial spirit of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Pagaralam. The research approach used is Research and Development (RnD). The product developed is a learning module that has gone through a validation process by experts and was tested in one class. The results of this trial are the basis for revising the learning module product to produce a final product that can be used. The revised product was then validated by 3 experts and tested in two classes. The effectiveness test was carried out using paired sample test analysis. The implementation of the Research-Based PjBL Model in Entrepreneurship subjects at Muhammadiyah Pagaralam Vocational School has had a positive and effective impact. The findings show a positive impact on students' motivation and skills, as well as a contribution to increasing entrepreneurial spirit. The learning modules developed have been validated and have a significant impact on learning. However, the evaluation highlights aspects that need improvement, such as the level of difficulty of the material, learning resources and learning activities. This becomes the basis for continuous improvement in improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

Generation Z, having come of age in a thriving and varied digital age, encounters distinct obstacles in cultivating their religious identity. This article explores the most effective ways for engaging Generation Z in religious character building and examines the resulting ramifications. The methodology employed is qualitative, with descriptive analysis as the study type. The research focused on the following subjects: the madrasah's head, the curriculum section, male and female student affairs, and the students. Data gathering approaches employ methods such as interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis techniques encompass various stages, namely data collecting, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Studies indicate that the utilization of digital technology, including social media and educational applications, can effectively transmit religious ideals to Generation Z. Furthermore, the implementation of a comprehensive strategy that encompasses both structured and unstructured learning, interpersonal engagement, and guidance from mentors has also demonstrated its efficacy. The significance of these findings underscores the necessity of adapting religious learning methodologies to cater to the requirements and inclinations of Generation Z. This essay emphasizes the necessity of using creative approaches to engage Generation Z in the development of religious character, with the aim of preserving spiritual values in the rapidly changing modern world.
